What do you like best about Mendix?

Mendix helps us to develop the apps much faster than expected. Essentially, it is straightforward to understand and implement. It allows us to integrate various services into the Mendix application. What problems is Mendix solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being a developer or consultant, I feel Mendix helps to develop & deliver the apps much faster. Mendix supports various kinds of integration through custom modules or connectors, which are available in Mendix Marketplace. Also, Mendix offers the user to publish or consume the data via the REST API and OData API. Its built-in Drag & drop feature helps the developer to complete the development sooner, and also the different types of modes, structure & design modes. What do you like best about Mendix?

I use Mendix for development projects at my company. It helps me solve a lot of problems, especially with business trips expense reports. One of the things that I dislike about the Mendix platform is inability to run asynchronous operations efficiently and effectively. It's possible, I'll grant Mendix that, but I do think that there's a lot to improve to make it useful in production environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Mendix solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm predominantly solving business problems for client organizations. What we typically see is where an organization will typically or actually have a spreadsheet to administer some information, manage it and draw insights from it. We can do it better, more effectively and more user friendly than a canvas of rows, columns and cells. This is benefitting me in the sense that I get to solve these issues.
