Some things you don't even realise you need - until you use them. Memtime is one such thing. Previously, I always tracked manually, which is not a big deal in itself, but in total quite time-consuming. It's super intuitive to use and the automatic tracking always works reliably and comprehensibly. The function of ‘switching offline’ or pausing the recording is also really useful. It should also be emphasised that (at least according to Memtime) everything happens locally on the computer - clearly a matter of trust, but it seems plausible in this case. I really like using Memtime a lot because it makes tracking so much easier. I am also more than satisfied with the super friendly customer support for feedback or other concerns - if not positively surprised compared to other software companies. Of course, this would contradict the ‘local-data-only’ approach, but in the end, data from several devices would have to be collected manually - or incompatible devices (tablet, phone) would still have to be tracked manually. In addition, the current net price of €15 (without an excessively long subscription commitment) is quite high, especially compared to the range of functions offered by the competition. I'm a consultant working with multiple clients, and I was constantly struggling to stay on top of my time. I was always over-delivering and ending up stressed and burnt out. During a mastermind group, the host suggested I try Memtime to better manage my time. I shared how I was struggling to stick to my billable hours for each client, and she explained how Memtime had helped her track her time effectively. I immediately knew I had to try it, and I signed up right then and there and I've been using it daily ever since. Here's what I love about it: I was able to seamlessly connect Memtime to my calendar and my time tracking tool, Toggl. It took just a few clicks, and I was ready to start tracking my time. This saved me so much time and hassle compared to constantly switching between different tools. No longer do I need to turn on and off Toggl multiple times a day, which is a huge win for someone juggling several projects at once. Memtime helps me stay focused and productive, knowing exactly how my time is spent. The offer of an onboarding call after signing up was really thoughtful. While I didn't need it, it shows they truly care about their users. I found Memtime incredibly easy to use. The interface is intuitive and straightforward, making it easy to set up everything. It is great software that helsp me keep track of my timesheets. Sincve we work for multiple customers, we need to deliver timesheets on weekly basis. I like the memory aid function that helps me remember for whom I worked and what I have done. Integration with clickup is must have for me as well since we use it as a project management software. The best part about memtime, is that you can just continue to work and memtime is tracking everything you are doing in the meantime (incl. appointments, app usage, browser usage, etc.) while at the same time it's only being stored locally on your computer, so that nobody has access to it without your consent. Once your are done with your workday you can simply allocate your usage to projects or synch it directly to your project management, or HR tool. We like this tool a lot. Everything is being recorded and allocated more or less automatically. That saves a lot of time and thought - also in that regrard if you forget to book certain entries. As a creative agency with multiple staff all handling multiple projects on a daily basis, getting accurate time tracking has been a nightmare. For the past few years, almost monthly, I have had to harp on the team about the accuracy and consistency of their time tracking. Memtime has been a HUGE win for my business. It is easy to setup, simple to integrate into our time tracking software (Harvest) and now my team can log their time daily with confidence. 10/10 I would recommend. I don't know that it is something I dislike, but one featuer I would love to see rolled out in the future is autocategorizing of time. What I like best about Memtime is the constant tracking of every window we are using, showing them up as a bundle in the calendar so that we can then identify what we were doing when filling out our timesheet. As it's easy to use, very user-friendly and intuitive with the implementation and the integration, that customer support is very responsive, that the frequency of use doesn't need you to confirm what you are doing to show you a bundle of activities you were doing and let you assess what you were accomplishing afterward, it's very hard to come up with something I dislike with Memtime. Automatic list of the day's activity, making it frictionless to post time entries at the end of the day to our Project Management Software, which was also easy to integrate. I would have liked a companion mobile app to install on our corporate devices, which would allow the team to log activity performed on their mobile device without having to manually recall. We have wanted to keep an accurate track of our daily activity without the tracking activity itself becoming a time-consuming chore. The design of Memtime allows us to recall the day's activity (on screen only) and quickly post time entries without having to rely on memory or notes. This is the first time that I actually feel like my time tracking and organizational skills have truly been automated in a way that doesn't require me to click a timer button to start and stop a specific task which I simply failed to do many other software solutions I have tried. given my somewhat ADHD nature, I jump around a lot and so the ability to track time in such detail at such small time intervals actually help me realize where I was wasting so much time and why I wasn't getting as much done as I wanted to. The more you use it, the less you have to interact with it, which makes it all the more valuable in my opinion. instead of becoming another task, I have to complete. It simply takes the majority of it off your plate with the "Time Entry Automation" feature. I let it run for a day or two, and then I went back and looked at what it collected and and truly, with very little effort created some automation rules, which made implementation and integrating it into my existing need and use case way easier than a lot of the products I have used/tried. I think there's enough information that it should be able to create suggested time entry automations for you and being a big fan of AI, I think that's now more possible than ever. I think that would make this product of 10 out of 10 in my opinion. I don't like having to click through and create names for tasks and figure out which window I might use and what it's title is....
