Like most outsourced SDR teams, performance improves as they get deeper into your market and messaging. There’s a ramp period where results are more activity driven than conversion driven. They also perform best when there’s tight alignment on our ideal customer profile, messaging, and expectations. Without that, results can be inconsistent early on.

Go in with a clear ICP, defined messaging, and a tight feedback loop. Treat them like an extension of your internal team, not a set it and forget it vendor. If you invest the time upfront and stay engaged, they can drive strong outbound activity and consistent pipeline generation.

I really appreciate how memoryBlue made an instant positive impact on our field sellers with their speed to market and high-volume outbound sales activity. The professionalism and production of their campaign were impressive. Their cold calling strategies taught us that 'Cold-Calling' is not dead, and they consistently helped drive net-new meetings on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. I also value the personal touch of being able to coach and provide feedback directly to the team, rather than interacting with a bot.

It has been difficult to balance the needs of our business with those of MemoryBlue. We have found it challenging to use BDRs for more than just cold outbound activities. Additionally, there is a noticeable lack of comprehensive industry knowledge.

If you require additional outbound traditional BDR support, then MemoryBlue is the right option.

Our business development team is quite small, so we turned to MemoryBlue for BD support in the UK and EMEA regions. The UK representative has been effective in generating several pipeline opportunities and has also played a key role in increasing attendance at local events.

Very well structured campaigns. An intent to understand the product, subject matter, personas, and and ability to customize their outreach based on not just what they've learnt from us, but also what they've learnt from their outreach activities. Proactive feedback, a willingness to learn & adapt to make their campaigns more effective. What's important is also their ability to take data driven decisions on conversion metrics, timing of outreach, meeting to pipe ratios etc.

None at the moment. Collaborating with their team has been a breeze.

Would 100% recommend mB to others who are looking for a SalesDev partner. They aren't any run-of-the-mill SDR agency. To the contrary, they add a lot of value to GTM efforts, by helping understand much of the market, ability to sell the product, and can potentially help rewrite your sales playbooks. I would look at them as a partner in sales and market penetration.

memoryBlue was tasked with helping us break into the US market for one of our new product lines. They were able to perform this admirably well. mB started by understanding our product, the domain, and built subject matter expertise. mB's ability to covert this knowledge to go-to-market campaigns eventually led to a measurably better understanding of the personas to target, the size of the market, line of attack, what works vs doesn't, messaging and a lot of other GTM aspects.

I believe we got very lucky with the SDR and Delivery Manager (who manages our SDR on a day-to-day basis) that we were assigned at the onset of our campaign. Both have proven to be hardworking, coachable, and relentlessly enthusiastic, all of which is important in the world of inside sales. Although the individuals deserve most of the credit for this, we also acknowledge that the culture at memoryBlue also played a sizable role in these consistent values displayed by those we've worked with on their team.

**What do you dislike about memoryBlue?**

I wouldn't say there's anything I explicitly dislike about memoryBlue. Even when they were using sales/outreach tools that we thought were suboptimal, they very willingly allowed us to add our memoryBlue people to tools that we liked to use internally. I can't say anything else sticks out as a negative. When we have hiccups with things like our Salesforce integration efforts, they're always timely in addressing them, so those kinds of headaches are also few and far between.

**Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:**

Since memoryBlue campaigns can be set up to last anywhere from 3 months to a year or beyond, I do think it is a very worthwhile way to experiment with an inside sales approach. It behooves you to spend ample time with your memoryBlue team to make sure they know as much as they can about your company and industry, but as long as you have a good team that listens and strives to improve each week, it quickly becomes a rewarding experience. And don't worry about all the time and knowledge you pour into your SDR - there is a quick and easy path to hiring that individual on after a certain amount of time. We know because we did just that and it's continuing to work out great, including the backfilling of the SDR we brought on with a fresh memoryBlue rep that works with the same Delivery Manager we've had for almost a year.

**What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business has a relatively small TAM, and many of the key players attend industry events/conferences, which has historically been our biggest business development driver. However, as we've looked to grow our business the last few years, we've recognized there's a healthy slice of the market that we needed to find another way to get in front of. We had never used cold calling as a top-of-funnel driving tactic in particular. A managing director at our company received a recommendation from a respected former colleague that we should try memoryBlue. We didn't have a tech stack or SDR manager on staff that would help train and enable a new inside sales hire, so memoryBlue's ability to take that all off our plate while also enabling us to try the cold-calling experiment was very valuable. After almost a full year of running the memoryBlue campaign, we have the most robust sales pipeline we've had in my five years with the company, and that benefit can partially be attributed to the services memoryBlue provided to us over the last several months.

They follow data and performance of each rep very closely, the account manager is on top of their team to adjust if needed. MemoryBlue is a machine, they have proven processes that you can rely on to get the program up and running quickly.

Only con is they don't work in your system (they do have a dashboard where you can see progress), but all the activities and touch points are not recorded in your system so attribution has been a little trickier. Meaning what is the cycle time and how many touch points did it take to get a meeting, and connecting that to the account itself.

Banyan Infrastructure did not have any internal BDRs. I needed to quickly prove out if this new motion made sense for us to hire internally and put more dollars/focus to this effort. MemoryBlue (my account rep Nathan) helped me put together an ROI model for my CEO and create realistic goals. Once confirmed, my account manager Franklin had us up and running in a couple of weeks, and we got a few meetings that first week! I have appreciated their partnership over the last two quarters and their dedication to excellence. We ended up hiring on one of the team members and are now brining the function in-house.

**What do you like best about memoryBlue?**

My alignment with memoryBlue helped create a foundational SDR team at Evident.io, Automox, and Productboard. Our SDR team at Evident.io went on to help scale company revenue by 4 X and we were acquired by Palo Alto Networks. We scaled an SDR team at Automox from 3 to 30 within 12 months largely due to our partnership with memoryBlue which allowed us to hit our board-level targets. At Productboard, we quickly scaled our San Francisco hybrid office culture by partnering with memoryBlue.

**What do you dislike about memoryBlue?**

Lack of international presence but recent Operatix acquisition solved that challenge.

Many SDRs are recent college graduates that have great work ethic, willingness to learn, but they might not have extensive experience in your space. Whether building your own team directly or having mB support your efforts, I would recommend using 2 + SDRs at once for many reasons such as collaboration, sharing best practices, accountability, etc. You can ultimately hire the strongest performer or increase them from half-time to full-time.

Whether looking to invest initially into an SDR org or to supplement your current pipeline efforts, memoryBlue can quickly get ramped to provide you with industry-leading best practices at little risk.

memoryBlue has helped scale our SDR org's quickly, brought an added layer of talent screening, industry-leading prospecting best practices, and a high degree of outbound culture/mindset. 

memoryBlue was instrumental in helping to scale out our Sales Development Organizations at Evident.io, Automox, and Productboard with strong talent.The screening that memoryBlue provides while hiring talent creates an additional layer of recruiting expertise that allowed us to hire very strong talent from our campaign. 

memoryBlue’s culture of hustle and accountability have repeatedly helped uplift the overall caliber of my teams. All while having strong growth-mindsets, curiosity, and willingness to consistently improve.

The only thing I can see that they can improve upon would be reporting on which method of outreach booked the meeting. Their reporting is great, otherwise though.

We needed an effective way to prospect & scale sales for our new products, but we have a small team who are not well-equipped with tools or bandwidth to be able to be effective enough. memoryBlue is now part of our team, walking stride-for-stride with us as we grow our revenue!

Quick to get up to speed and very flexible around leveraging our internal systems for outreach.

MemoryBlue is a little expensive, however they proved their model works.

I was super hesitent to leverage an outside resource to augment our SDR team for a specific LOB we have. After an informative sales process MemoryBlue answered all of my questions and we went into a 90 day trail. That 90 day trial lead to an 8 month highly successful engagement. The SDR resource we worked with at MemoryBlue was very professional and worked well with our existing SDR team. He was one of us internally and externally facing. 

We met with both Brian our SDR and Joey his manager once a week to be sure everything was on track. This allowed us to stay on top of any adjustments that were needed along the way. Joey and the leadership in the Austin office were a pleasure to work with. They understood how important it was to have Brian work inside of our systems and helped us get that set up quickly and securely. 

My expectations were blown out of the water. Brian was up and running and setting meetings in his 2nd week! He was top of the pack in meeting creation week after week. I highly reccomend MemoryBlue for however you need to augment your SDR team.

MemoryBlue helps us leverage SDR resources for specific LOB's outside of our base platform.

memoryBlue is a bit expensive, requiring a percentage of hired-employee salary as their fee.

This is the best recruiting firm we fielded out of four total options we considered in our space. 
memoryBlue was the most accurate in candidate handoff to our requirements, and never put us in front of a bad candidate.
We had a surplus of qualified candidates for the roles we needed to hire, which has left us with an extended pipeline of connections for future hires on top of their immediate impact.
One of the most proficient Account Executives I've worked with in Rebecca Yaunches.
Great service with tangible delivery.

Leveraging a head hunter can be a more expensive way to go, but memoryBlue's rates are competitive.
