"Intuitive, easy to use, and amazing customer service"
4.5/5
What do you like best about memoQ?

The customer service is awesome! I also like that the software is easy to use. And the website contains a lot of useful information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoQ?

There are still a number of features that I don't know about, so maybe they already exist. But I would like to be able to search a word directly in the TM without having to create a project (e.g., when having to translate only a sentence). I would like to have access to more context when looking for concordances. Also, when I pre-translate a text or look in my TM, some segments won't show in my translation even though they had been already translated. Therefore, it's more difficult for me to ensure consistency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"You can always count on it"
5/5
What do you like best about memoQ?

MemoQ has been our primary CAT tool since 2010, and it has helped us to centralize all our data and know-how, and we use it on a daily basis. The layout is easy to understand (ofline and online), and with the help of the floating licenses, our freelance linguists can also benefit from its use. If there is a problem, the support team is always available through a dedicated portal, and they always try to find the best solution, whether it is urgent or a general issue. We are very happy with MemoQ and continue using it as one of our main assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoQ?

We generally like MemoQ very much. No downside that I can mention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best CAT tool in the market"
4.5/5
What do you like best about memoQ?

What I like most is that it's reliable, customizable with easy-to-use regex rules, and file type compatibility. It's a tool that offers a wide range of QC capabilities compared to other tools on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoQ?

It lacks a cloud function and more API connections to external tools that many customers already use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Overall, very satisfied with memoQ"
4.5/5
What do you like best about memoQ?

Comprehensive project overview with easy-to-follow steps. We like that it's compatible with other CAT tools and that it can easily be adopted by resources who have not much experience with memoQ. Customer support is very responsive and helpful. With regard to projects, we like the search, filter and management options and that memoQ supports so many different file types. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoQ?

We sometimes experience disconnection issues - both on the desktop and online version. It seems that as soon as the internet connection is not 100% stable, memoQ disconnects. As for projects, when we align documents, it would be helpful if there was an option to delete full lines/segments in a file (right now we need to delete the content and merge the empty line with adjacent ones). Another helpful feature would be a good tag cleaner. Sometimes there are so many tags in one file that it can't be exported before all issues have been corrected. When importing files, there should be an option in templates that ALT text of files is not imported. Right now, we have to uncheck this every time. A final point - it would be helpful to be able to open two or more projects/files at the same time to compare or check something. As a wishlist-item, it would be great if it was possible to export a bitext of just one file, e.g. when we align a FR/EN reference file, it would be helpful if we could share this one aligned file with resources who don't use memoQ instead if sharing the whole TM. "The best CAT tool I have used to date"
5/5
What do you like best about memoQ?

MemoQ is resally easy to use and powerful, although it is not used to its full potential within my organization. That said, I really like the integration of Antidote, makes my proofreading work so much easier. Also super fast to import and export files and to assign translations to linguists, as an Administrator. In terms of translation use, I reallly like that my translations are saved automatically, definitely a plus when the computer crashes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoQ?

Not much, except that it takes me time to switch from Admin to Translator, but that's mainly due to the fact that I hold both roles within my company! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very efficient and user friendly TMS"
5/5
What do you like best about memoQ?

MemoQ is a very user friendly CAT tool, this is of great value for in-house translation teams as it is very easy to train new team members on how to use the software.

The MemoQ team is very friendly and reactive, customer support is efficient.

MemoQ was quite easy to implement in our daily business and the MemoQ staff was available to help connect MemoQ to our ERP and Jira. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoQ?

The web version isn't mature enough to be used in the daily business as an internal translation team yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive solution for LSP"
5/5
What do you like best about memoQ?

MemoQ profoundly aligns with the complex needs of a language services provider, giving plenty of options to seamlessly integrate the work of human linguists and machines in complex localization projects. It's our everyday factory for translation services where most of our team converges. They are prompt at support and also offer good possibilities for customization. I also allows possibilities of integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoQ?

Because it is so rich in features, its learning curve is a bit steep. I assume that also because of its complexity the web version is a bit slow to evolve and a bit limited in features and options. Integration can be tricky but we had always found a way forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Maria Petrusan of memoQ

We appreciate your feedback and are continuously working to improve the web version's speed and feature set.
