Granted, it is trying to be like Excel, but the lite version is free so it is bound to not be as intuitive and aesthetically pleasing. Even if you subscribe to the Pro version it is disappointing because it cannot work with Excel, Access, Numbers, or Google sheets. **Recommendations to others considering Memento Database:** If you can afford Excel it is worth it. Memento is free, but it is not as versatile and universal as Excel. **What problems is Memento Database solving and how is that benefiting you?** Working in the field of science we are constantly collecting data and this was one of the databases I used on a project in an emergency when I could not get Excel to work. Unfortunately to keep working with the data I had to retype it all in Excel. There was no way to import the data into Excel. Everything you save in Memento gets saved to their specific cloud. It's almost as though it is a holding place for information as opposed to a database that can be shared. ### 3.
