This custom approach gives them the ability to be provided. ### 2. While it does integrate with other plugins (Eg: Buddyboss), you can very quickly end up with a mess that seems duct-taped together. There are so many configuration options it can be very confusing, and it can be tough to customize unless you have PHP skills. **What problems is MemberPress solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helped me validate the desire of people to join my paid community. As soon as that was validated, I moved onto a different, more extensible, and easier to customize platform. ### 3. The onboarding and getting started tutorials make it super-easy to set up your pages even if you're new to web design. Over the last year, I have used it I have seen some steady new integrations which have helped a small business like mine run smoothly. **What do you dislike about MemberPress?** After 8 months and the need for a lot more specific features, it was evident that MemberPress were just not integrating fast enough with the 3rd party tools we needed. We had also changed email service providers and unfortunately due to our new supplier not being on their list of partnership we couldn't transfer our members over. At the time we started setting up and using MemberPress their tutorials were mainly text based screenshots which I found a little annoying. I desperately needed video tutorials and so I ended up searching Youtube to learn how to get my pages customised by others. **Recommendations to others considering MemberPress:** MemberPress is a great plugin for start-ups and I would advise that you check what features you actually need to manage your membership program over the first 12 months and the 3rd party tools you currently use or plan on using.
