What do you like best about Melissa Data Quality Suite?

Outside of the primary function as a small business, we are able to unify the state and contacts for internal and external customers. The interface is simplistic and user friendly. We liked that it was fully integrable with a couple of other solutions that we use or intend on using. There was a very little learning curve as well which made it easy to implement. What do you dislike about Melissa Data Quality Suite?

Being that this is the first time I've used a tool like this I don't see any disadvantages only positives. I would recommend a version for remote or cellular device usage so that Management could work on the fly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Melissa Data Quality Suite:

I would definitely recommend if your looking for a way to validate and confirm email address if that is the primary way for invoicing your clients or customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are solving data consistency on the front in and we are also standardizing what key elements are entered into the system. Because of these upfront fixes, we are able to invoice, contact and communicate with clients most effectively Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

None - spoke with my team and they have had nothing but a positive experience with Melissa Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Melissa Data Quality Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

We recieve operator (>300K) information monthly from the distribution that serves them. Data quality coming in is not as accurate as we require. Upon upload the SSIS package is triggered and very quickly we have accurate and up to date corrections made prior to the reporting cycle. This has allowed us to report sales information right to the end user which would not be possible without Melissa. This information is crucial to our clients (manufacturers) to grow their businesses which in turn makes us critical to their success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Melissa Data Quality Suite?

The potential. Had it delivered, I would be pleased. I need a small solution and this seemed the best prospect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Melissa Data Quality Suite?

User interface is abysmal. I am no tech guru, but also far from a novice. This should have been a 15 minute project but over an hour later I am reading help columns, googling for solutions, sending Melissa emails and still no way to simply view my 3 record address data file after a 10 minute processing time. Too bad, I really needed and wanted this to be easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi,

I understand that it's possible a lot of the confusion may have been with the inability to download your file using the Google Chrome browser. Chrome no longer supports FTP. Our development team has been working on a fix to this issue, but other browsers including Edge and Firefox can be used to access your processed files. I'd love to set up a call to go over any other challenges you had in using the program - we are always interested in user feedback that can help us improve our products. Let's fix it!

Again, I am sorry for the less than satisfactory experience you had . I also wanted to let you know that we've topped off your account so that it is full with another 1,000 Melissa Credits if you would like to run additional files for data cleansing and appending at no charge.

I've used Melissa data's services in a batch capacity and have found their sales and customer support personnel easy to work with and the data returned to us very complete with good accuracy scores and easy to understand and reintegrate into our systems for analysis and use.
