Great Partnership, But Needs Better Portfolio Analytics **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025 **What do you like best about Meisterplan?** It's the partnership and their willingness to listen to our business-specific needs. **What do you dislike about Meisterplan?** Inability to export a change log. I don't have the time to go project to project in MP, or sometimes even get into MP, to see what's been changed and I already have an external dashboard that I use to monitor the portfolio. I can't do basic portfolio analytics like project lifecycles, days in a certain status, etc. and dissect that info by client or project type. Those are important PMO-level metrics that I don't have. The other thing that I know you're working on now is to have project specific rates for each resource. We manage huge client engagements that oftentimes have multiple rate cards depending on the business segment we're engaged with. Some of our resources are on several projects, but with different rates for each project. I want the ability to do financial forecasting alongside resource forecasting so that can be communicated back to the client. **What problems is Meisterplan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Please contact Achim Gnan and have him pull up all of the feature requests I've submitted that you have released features in support of those requests. You have been great partners in meeting our needs with so many of your releases. I'm very grateful! ### 2. Easy to use and implement **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025 **What do you like best about Meisterplan?** When we first launched (2019/2020), we were up and running from an excel file to MP in less than a week. User interface is simple, easy to understand. Customizable fields can be created to reflect your business. Its ability to allow users and resources to access information in real time, allows for a variety of access and use. Customer support is responding with solutions within a day. **What do you dislike about Meisterplan?** Integrating with other platforms can be tricky. Documenting terms and definitions of Project fields and selections for training / reference / API has to be done outside Meisterplan. It does not allow for export or import of Project field background information used to set up projects. **What problems is Meisterplan solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Meisterplan for organizing and tracking our Projects, Portfolio and Resources. It has allowed us to standardize terms/definitions for various elements within the variety of Projects we operate.
