On top of that, our account is responsive and good at their jobs, which is a huge bonus! Megaport has proven you don’t need to pay premium prices to get premium stability. I have worked with two large scale companies, both are Megaportal customer. It has saved us from emergency break down caused by other Telco, it has given us highly resilient backup solution, all implementation was done within no time. Best choise ever! They also have the great support team, pre-sale team, we have very great working relationship. **What do you dislike about Megaport?** I cannot find anything I dis-like, I will continue promote MegaPort to others. **What problems is Megaport solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to spin up an internet connection when our Telto's service experiencing prolonged break-down, our team was able to build a internet connection with no time. Even their pricing is very reasonable. **What problems is Megaport solving and how is that benefiting you?** They allow me to connect my datacenter with AWS. James Stewart has all the qualifications an Eng should have: do his homework, engage with customers to troubleshoot, listen to the customer and know when to escalate the issue. You have to buy 2 to get redundancy. When a maintenance on an MCR occurs, the entire circuit goes down. I would think a circuit could have multiple paths in an MCR instance. To keep costs down, we opted on IPSec tunnels for our backup routes. Keeping our costs down to single, primary circuits. **What problems is Megaport solving and how is that benefiting you?** Connection of DCs to Clouds. Creating MVE's only requires several steps and with BYOL, the MVE could be up within minutes. Same with VXC's -- select the locations for point A to point B and the circuit could be up and running with a couple of minutes. 2) Fast Creation Time - VXC's to cloud services are created within minutes upon order submission. The wait time is always on the cloud providers end to complete the entire circuit whether it be a Direct Connect with AWS or ExpressRoute in Azure. For MVE's, I am able to bring up a new virtual router/firewall within minutes with the BYOL model. 3) Pricing and length of terms could be obtained upfront and online. You could even use the pricing model to generate quotes to provide upper mgmt for budgetting. **What do you dislike about Megaport?** You have to use the online portal chat for suppport. Best path routing, we peer on all Megaport IX's in Australia which gives is low latency high speed access to most CDN networks and large Hyperscalers. 2. Interstate VXC's we use as backup Intercap, turned down to 10Mbps which we then turn up when are primarys are having maintaince windows or during an outage. ### 34. We also were very pleased with the ease of implementation, from the initial configuration to the ease of use in day-to-day management. When we have had a few ( very few) technical issues, the skills of the support personel have been first-rate. They resolve issues quickly, even though the 'issues' have always been with the CoLo vendor or Cloud provider, and never an actual Megaport issue. **What do you dislike about Megaport?** For us, no real downside. Perhaps exposing more metrics would be useful. **What problems is Megaport solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to establish an ExpressRoute circuit to one of the government clouds. At the time, there were few vendors available to do this for us. The the ones that were available were an order of magnitude more expensive that Megaport, and all configuration was ou of our control, and instead performed by an unseen individual at the vendor. When we discovered Megaport, they weren't even in our CoLo, but in just a few short month the equipment was installed , we had our live Port and cross connects, at 1/10th the cost.
