## Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) Reviews
 ### 1. Stova is a reliable and planner-friendly registration management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney N. | VP of Event Technology, Hospitality, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

My company has been using the Stova platform for a little over 4 years, and we have been consistently satisfied with the product throughout this time. Previously, we used a platform that lacked flexibility and had a support team indifferent to problem-solving.

This platform has significantly enabled our organization to fully integrate and collaborate more efficiently, resulting in well-planned events. From the outset, Stova has proven highly user-friendly for our entire company: Event Coordinators/Customer Support use it for reporting and managing attendees, our flight team benefits from PNR integration, and our marketing/tech team utilizes it for developing websites, registrations, and apps.

Stova's customer support and account management teams consistently offer assistance and are receptive to feedback for future improvements. Since no platform can cater perfectly to every use case, it's extremely helpful to have them listen to our suggestions for enhancing the platform.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

With any event registration platform, companies often prioritize developing features that may not be relevant to our specific needs. Stova's development focus leans more towards features that we neither currently use nor foresee using, which makes us especially eager for them to enhance the features we do rely on daily.

We sincerely hope they continue to prioritize the core function of the registration platform and consistently improve it to ensure it remains current and modern. We' love for them to focus on regularly providing new and modern templates for website and registration design. Ultimately, clients using the front-end expect an attractive website and a streamlined, modern registration process.

Some newer companies prioritize these aspects exclusively, whereas older companies focus on expanding onsite solutions or backend meeting planner tools. While Stova is great at listening to feedback about updates, their priorities sometimes differ from ours.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stova is working on an end-to-end solution for event management. We are a third-party agency using this platform to build events for our clients and it is great to be able to offer them a wide variety of services.

 ### 2. Stova is one of the best in class event apps!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley B. | Manager of Program Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

I have been working with Stova for several years, and my experience has been exceptional from the moment they acquired Aventri. The level of service has been consistently outstanding. Their customer support team always goes above and beyond to meet our clients' needs. I vividly recall a representative assisting us with an urgent client request on a Sunday afternoon, demonstrating their commitment to our success.

The recent product roadmap presentation has me excited for the future developments at Stova. Our clients frequently praise the app’s design and functionality, which keeps us returning to Stova for our event app needs. The app is user-friendly and easy to set up, enabling us to deliver high-quality results for our clients efficiently.

Whenever we've faced challenges, Stova has been there to support us. I am grateful to the Stova team for their dedication and support. Thank you, Stova, for your commitment to excellence!

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

While my overall experience with Stova has been fantastic, I have noticed a recent improvement in their training materials. In the past, navigating training on new modules or features could be challenging. However, I am excited about their new LMS platform and the enhanced training resources it promises to deliver. This improvement will undoubtedly make using Stova even more seamless and enjoyable.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stova enables us to deliver top-tier mobile event apps, fostering engaging interactions at the meetings and events our company produces.

 ### 3. Stova is the most user friendly registration system

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corrin E. | Senior Meeting Planner- Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Flexibility and simplicity of setting up websites and registration paths. The ability to checkmark what questions and visibility are to different attendee categories is simple and fast to update. Many other systems require updating every path when there is a change and this leaves room for error. Reporting, the simple mobile app that pulls a lot from registration, and easy-to-build websites are also great!

I have had a good experience with customer support! I want to point out that Peter Wieczorek has been extremely helpful in multiple situations.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

There is no invitee list in the system. In other systems, you can manage an invitation list directly in the registration settings. Stova has some reporting that you can pull from the pre-approved data but it is very clunky. It would be great to have the invite list uploaded in the system and the option to manually decline/register attendees so they no longer get emails and we can pull reports with the complete and accurate invitation list. Currently, you have to remove people from pre-approved and then under e-marketing. It's super clunky. I unfortunately have to create a separate database outside the system to manage this.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great registration management system for multiple companies I work with. Works great from the user's perspective and as a planner. The room list management is great!

 ### 4. Stova always comes through with ease of use and customer service - they go above and beyond!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole T. | Manager, Events, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The platform is very user friendly and easy to use. I have found that myself and my team can often work our way through issues and figure them out quickly.

Should there be an instance that we are unable to figure it out - the Customer Service team is phenomenol! I have called them and had them walk me through issues right away. It's a great feeling knowing that they take the time to educate and help their customers.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Sometimes the HTML can get tricky and I have a difficult time fixing things to our liking in terms of formatting.

As a complex organization, we sometimes have to manipulate the program to work for our needs. The STOVA team is fantastic at brainstorming with us on this, but sometimes it leads to small issues when cloning events at a later time, or if working with a new Account Manager.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

STOVA helps us to manage a variety of registrations. Some of ours are paid, some are complimentary, some are internal. There is no "one size fits all" to our events and the registration system ensures that we can have a comprehensive and easy to use site no matter what.

 ### 5. Excellent functionality with a learning curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shea H. | Senior Manager Strategic Projects, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

I've been using Stova for my event management role for around 5 years now, we host around 1000 events per year at different times and locations accross Australia.
The features within the system are vast, it really can do almost everything you need it to do - I'm sure there are still a lot of functions that I'm not aware of. The main functions we use it for customer registrations, reminder emails, checking in attendees, post-event surveys and reporting.
The customer support is fantastic, emails are responded to quickly, instructions and troubleshooting are detailed, and staff follow up until solutions have been found.
Overall it's reliable, detailed, flexible and meets our needs.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

At first it is quite complex to use and can take a while to set up all the templates, but once the templates are in place cloning is fairly simple. We have had to create our own SOPs for users.
It can be hard to understand what functions are available, usually we identify a need then talk to the support team to find out how to do what we need to do, as it's difficult to figure things out on our own.
The platform is a little dated. Some things could be improved - for example when we clone events it would be great if certain fields could pre-populate into the event emails (to and from email addresses for example), at the moment we have to click into each email and change these details manually.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main functions we use it for customer registrations, reminder emails, checking in attendees, post-event surveys and reporting.

 ### 6. A Labrynth of Tabs and Steps

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosalind R. | Staff, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The only advantage of using Aventri/Stova is that the program accepts credit cards.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The steps to create a conference are so complex and need vast knowledge of all the steps involved, numerous tabs, specific assigned meanings and functions to different tasks that are frequently not intuitive, the customer service people tend to dominate the conversation, rather than teach the steps involved. They forgot two crucial steps in a conference I recently helped to organize. Disaster! Had to contact ALL the attendees to return to the site and pay. The customer service rep dictated many lines of code to achieve this. The information to create the conference did not immediately translate to a website last year. Created my own website this year, not with Stova, and the registration was better, but the attendees couldn't complete the payments due to two steps not included. Very unhappy with this program.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The attendees can pay with a credit card.

 ### 7. Functional for basic needs, but look & feel isn't very customizable. Support is not always helpful.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca G. | Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Stova has helped our company consolidate efforts and allows us to track, manage, and communicate through a multitude of events. We utilize the Registration Module, Marketing Module, Mobile App Module, and the Website Module for every event and have customized each to serve our needs as much as possible.

The report functions are a great asset for us to help provide registration data for our clients. The email function within each event is also very helpful with the option to automate communications and tailor them accordingly.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Customizing the look and feel for every module has been a source of frustration for our team. The customization options are very limited... colors and imagery can be changed, but typefaces are limited to Google Fonts only, the Website module is archaic at best. You can only upload .PNGs or .JPEGs, nothing optimized for webview. Videos are only supported if you have a public Vimeo or Youtube link. You can add custom CSS, but cannot adjust any of the base CSS. Something as simple as increasing the margins on the registration's mobile view has turned into a huge challenge for us.

The support team can be helpful, but when it comes to larger issues or requested improvements, we've often found that the higher level support doesn't take the time to review or understand the full issue. We've been sent in loops of communication with our Account Manager, the client support team, and support leadership, all of whom seem ready to pass us back and forth along the line. Imagine describing your issue and improvement goal multiple times and never getting a clear answer or being provided a "solution" that either reverts the work you've done or doesn't address the original goal at all.

Ultimately, we've learned that if it can't be solved by the main support team, then it's likely not something anyone from Stova has the expertise to solve, either. We either have to figure it out on our own or accept the tools and look/feel for what they are. This has been a source of frustration for our team, but we work around it the best we can.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before engaging with Stova, we had to utilize many different platforms in order to achieve our goal of the registration and communication with our clients and their guests. Stova allows us to consolidate these efforts into one platform and that has been a huge improvement in our work processes and how we serve our clients. We benefit by streamlining registration data for our clients and our affiliates, automating communications through the event email or marketing module, and overall being able to achieve each stage of each event within one platform.

 ### 8. A useful tool for event planners but with much room for improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chloe W. | Senior Events Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

In theory, Stova has everything you need to plan, create, promote and organise an event, having everything in one place makes event planning a lot simpler and more streamlined. The Stova support team are always quick to respond and work had to resolve any issues.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Often the services provided by Stova, such as the marketing email module, survey module etc, are not as advanced as external software which provides this service, this means we often end up using external software for these things and cannot integrate these with stova. Therefore the benefit of having everything for an event in one place doesn't get used to its full extent and seems a waste. There is a lot of room for development and improvemnt in these areas and this seems to be not a priority to improve.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

collating all events and registrations in one place, as we often repeat events its nice to be able to clone an event registration and website and not have to start from scratch each time. This also helps with cross event reporting

 ### 9. Amazing platform - that can improve some points to be even better! :)

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renata Leite F. | Marketing Communications Coordinator for Latin America, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

I appreciate that is an all-in-one platform. It allows us to create landing pages, registration websites, and store files and elements all in one place. This comprehensive functionality streamlines our workflow and makes event management much more efficient. Also, it is a very intuitive and easy platform to use.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

One of the main issues I’ve encountered with Aventri is its occasional bugs, particularly when creating, editing, and adapting landing pages. It can be quite frustrating to make changes, save them, and then find out that the updates weren't actually saved. This forces you to redo the work, which is both time-consuming and tiring.

Besides that, I think the UI/UX could be a little bit better.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basically is allowing us to be able to execute events, organizing its registrants and information.

 ### 10. A Stova confident meeting planner

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meg G. | Senior Meeting and Event Manager , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Once you understand it, it is user friendly and whenever I have questions, customer support is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

There are some clunky things with some of the modules. I think the app could use a revamp and more options (i.e. I would love to be able to change font size and have more flexibility with use). I also think the abstracts module is past due for an update. Very clunky and I have voiced this in my support calls. The website module needs more options for templates. We just started working with a designer for more flexibility and options outside of Stova.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the custom registration report links so our clients always have access to their data on their attendees. I also like the reports that you can run.

 ### 11. Well-adjustable tool and pleasant experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

One of the standout features of Stova is its exceptional customer support, which is both prompt and respectful. The platform’s features are generally intuitive and user-friendly, even for first-time users. This ease of use is further enhanced by the comprehensive training sessions provided by Stova. Additionally, the ability to effortlessly transfer details from one event to another significantly enhances the user experience, making implementation seamless and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Some setting options are occasionally placed illogically. For example, working on the speakers column for the website must be done through the registrations section, which can be confusing at times. It zould be much better to have double access to some features, but I beleive that this could be possible in the future.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stova concentrates event management and marketing at one place, which makes it time convenient. Additionally, it has a user-firendly interface which means that one does not have to be a tech expert to learn how to use it. Therefore it leaves more time on the actual organisation of the event, which is always a plus.

 ### 12. Long time client

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer H. | Senior Meeting Planner and Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Stova is a well thought of out of the box solution to build and maintain professional meeting registration websites. Stova Knowledge Base is an endless resource with precise short video to answer any question. The platform is always growing with the community’s requests.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Accessing the admin side from your mobile device to check reports or registration numbers.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User friendly tool that can be used by a novice up to an expert. As a supervisor my team and colleagues can stand-up and maintain websites will little to no support.

 ### 13. Support is very good

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The support works really well - you get instant response with any queries.
Stova seems to have many things on offer but we seem to be only touching the surface.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

I haven't got another system to compare it with but sometimes it feels you need to be quite IT savvy to make the formatting look good for templates and emails.
You should be able to search for an attendee and see all previous courses they have been on in one click and you cannot do this without running a report.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run courses and people can book on to our courses via Stova.
We can send them a confirmation email.
We can email them blasts as event approaches.
We can run reports.
We also use the survey function for people to register their interest.

 ### 14. An Almost Complete Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Complete and comprehensive management tools including registration and ticketing as well as event marketing. Attendee management through easy to use dashboards and mobile app support.
Analytics and Reporting with fair data insights as well as surveys and feedback.
Third-party integrations as well as a robust API usage.
Flexibility on website and registration builder allowing for multiple brands and domains to run.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Complex learning curve when trying to go beyond the baseline out-of-box offerings through theme editor.
Cost.
Customer support efforts vary drastically, with constant account manager changes.
Perfromance issues through email deliverability (lack of awareness) and unstable scalability.
Customization and Templatization limits.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving, for the most part, our registration flow through multiple means and products. Benefits to having it all in a 'one stop shop' state.

 ### 15. Great platform with an excellent support team!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Stova in general is easy to use and intuitive. As a Canadian company with clients that require bilingual sites, I appreciate how easy it is to input the second language!

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

There are some formatting areas that are challenging such as how radio button questions lay out, not sure if these could be remedied by using a different style?

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We often have very short turn around time on registration site development so the ease of building in the platform is important. Also, having the ability to send a reporting link to our clients is huge! It eliminates the daily (or more), reports we would manually download and email to our clients.

 ### 16. Our partnership with Stova helps drive our success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurel H. | Director, Meeting and Event Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

What we value most about working with Stova is our partnership. The team at Stova works hard to understand our unique needs, comes to the table with solutions and tailors support to our organization. On top of the relationship, we are also very satisfied with the product offering.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

In the past we experienced high turnover within the Stova team, and it was frustrating for a couple of years. Recently this has improved and we are aligned with a very supportive and responsive team at Stova.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onsite badge printing. We are looking to Stova to support a customized request in this area to ensure the experience and our brand is accurately represented.

 ### 17. Does the basics well, needs to catch up

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom W. | Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Really fast chat support which is always essential. Does the basics well, I like it's navigation around the platform, through registrations to website builder.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

It's not very innovative. It's severly behind in terms of device responsiveness and innovative widgets and features.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using stova to manage our event registrations and website system. It helps keep all of our event data, content and deliverables in one space.

 ### 18. Fantastic Event Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob E. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Very easy to set up and customize for your unique needs this includes the registration pages and reporting. Once set up you can copy your forms for future events, reducing development time.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

There is not much to dislike here. The platform is really good.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Made it super easy to track reservations and registrations from an international audience across events scheduled 2x a year.

 ### 19. Overall positive experience but would love more enhancements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Overall, like the functionality of the software and the opportunity to connect with support via chat 24/7 if needed. In recent months support has also been effective at resolving issue at the time of outreach vs saying they need to investigate and get back which has also been very positive.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The website design could use enhancements to keep up with other software designers.

Would love better communication about enhancements to the platform.

Would love more design functions available in the event registration area to match more closely the website options.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NA

 ### 20. Good to use. Amazing service.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Easily the most helpful thing about Stova is the staff and user support service. Efficient, fast and friendly. Nothing tech related is easy for me and they make it all less frightening for me!

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Stova is super flexible which can be an issue for my organisation. It is a little to easy for our staff to misuse! But that is an 'us' problem not Stova.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing an easy to use event management solution that all our staff across multiple locations and timezones can use collaboratively for events.

 ### 21. Stova has a lot of technical limitations and there's a need to always come up with new work arounds.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sofia C. | Event Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

I would say the support and the capacity of following up with registrations on big scale and high level events.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The interface is very old looking and there are a lot of limitations not only in terms of design but also in terms of solutions.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stova let's you set-up different categories of guests and direct according to your category questions. This is a very useful feature to have on big scale events.

 ### 22. Stova

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela U. | Event Planner - Ministry and Outreach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Simple to create an online registrations and retrieve reports for the event.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The customer service. Seem to Not want to call when having an issue. Just taked a long time to resolve things. The website builder takes to much time in building a website for a registration when saving and publishing. The timing out when working on a website is problematic.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster Service and listening to the issues.

 ### 23. Easy to use interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** husnia a. | digital communication specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The customer service, which has always been excellent, the user-friendly interface for people of different levels of technological knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

There is a lack of flexibility in terms of interface development at the website and app level. The app lacks a few more features.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows you to do all the marketing material for an event.

 ### 24. Usable tech

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Websites are easy to build and if you have any issues their team are there to help

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Limited functionality on each site and the site crashes, often.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Stova to build websites and manage bookings, we also pull data into event plans which makes life a lot quicker than the previous manual process I used

 ### 32. Outdated and not flexible

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Aventri generates good custom reports for almost all aspects of the event.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Overpriced system with almost no upgrades over the last 5 years.

The system is extremely outdated, and do not offer any up-to-date functionality.

All frontend is rediculus. The HTML has clearly been made in 2010.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Participant management made easy.

 ### 33. Excellent platform that delivers on all promises!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas F. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Excellent service and response time. The platform delivered without a single problem and all last minute changes were accommodated without any issues. Streaming content was clear and professional with no interruptions or bandwidth challenges. It was perfect!

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

There was nothing I did not find superior in this virtual event solution. After using a number of different virtual event platforms, MeetingPlay stands out as the only one that actually delivered on all promises and did not fail us from the start of the planning to the backend reporting.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They help us to deliver a streaming event that is actually accepted among our audiences and not criticized as a poor replacement for live/in person content.

 ### 34. MeetingPlay Makes Meetings Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gwendolyn P. | Director of Global Events, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Good product and the customer service was phenomenal! The MeetingPlay team went above and beyond to make sure that our program was successful.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Their pricing model leaves a lot to be desired. Everything seems ala carte, which made me feel like I was being nickeled and dimed. I would have preferred to have pricing based on a basic package, medium-sized event package, or a grande experience. It's one thing to have some specialty ala carte items, but with so many options that should be standard, it made contracting hard.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used MeetingPlay for our global virtual conference. We wanted a solution where we could deploy the same content in regions around the world, offered robust reporting, and could handle our CPE tracking requirements. MeetingPlay fit the bill on all fronts.

 ### 35. MeetingPlay was a great find!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia T. | Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

They are very professional, responsive, and knowledgeable about their platform. We felt handled through a new way of producing events and so much so that we decided to refer other clients to their services.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Many features are at additional costs. They are very thorough in how they describe and price each option. They will even look into new ways to produce your needs if they don't already have a solution.

**Recommendations to others considering Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri):**

They take the stress out of platforms!

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have clients that are looking to take the virtual meeting to a new level with engagement. There are many platforms to choose from out there. Still, MeetingPlay is at the forefront in this area with the technology they offer and new ideas to make the virtual events more engaging, entertaining, and easy to use for the attendee. They provide other features like mobile app and registration as well. It's a one-stop-shop!

 ### 36. MeetingPlay is my go-to recommendation over any other virtual platforms.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

MeetingPlay's support first and foremost. As someone who will have used all of their products (as of Jan 2022), they continually surprise me with how willing they are to work with you and your needs. They are always open to looking at different ways to approach a particular request that isn't baked into the product. This typically needs extra dev work, but the fact that they are willing to work with you is not something most other platforms offer. In terms of day-to-day accouct management, they are always there and available to help. I don't think I've ever waited more than 4 hours for a response and usually much quicker.

I have hosted dozens of virtual events - some in the 10,000+ attendee range and on many different platforms - and MeetingPlay has been above and beyond on every aspect from platform features, support, sales and customer service, and most importantly technical stability. To date, MeetingPlay is the only platform I have hosted an event on that didn't have a critical technical problem while the show was live.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

As with any software there are limitations, but there isn't much that I can say that I dislike about MeetingPlay. I would like to see more angecy/client control earlier on the backend for the full MP platform for small edits instead of having to go through the MP team.

Fore CORE specifically, we have some small product feedback that will we share directly with the team at MP.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits are simple - they are the most robust platform and the most reliable platform that I have worked with to date. We are an agency that specializes in broadcasts and doing things out of the box and MeetingPlay has been there every step of the way to support us.

Lastly, I don't have the same confidence with other platforms on the technical side as I do with MP. I am confident that with the work we do, it will show the very best on this platform.

 ### 37. A good system/tool but it has some flaws.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adriana (Adri) L. | Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Aventri has nice layouts, once you attain some basic knowledge then it is easy to use. There are some basic drag and drop elements that are really nice and make creating an event website very user-friendly!

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The system is slow and a little clunky with specific things. Like the agenda, you have to go to a certain page to make edits, which once you figure out makes sense but it is not very intuitive. If there is a way to add several events in a day at once it would be amazing. It also has a very slow load time and there are some glitches like sometimes links are blue and underlined and other times they are the wrong color.

**Recommendations to others considering Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri):**

Take some time to learn the system because it is not intuitive but is good for sending out emails regarding your event and making a simple website.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to eliminate creating an app on for the phone with the website we created. It's very mobile friendly and saved us a lot of work. It's also nice to track emails sent out through the system.

 ### 38. Great platform and an even better team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt W. | Executive Producer/Director, MWP, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Unlike other platforms, MP's design team simplifies the coding and design work, allowing you to focus on the program.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Since they have total control of your platform site, there were times our team wanted the ability to turn on and off features but had to wait for MP's team to do it.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a frictionless process for our attendees while maintaining the highest level of security isn't easy to do. But MeetingPlay made it look easy. We had some minor issues with people logging into the site but overall, given the total number of attendees, I'd say less than .0001%.

 ### 39. Excellent virtual event platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mining & Metals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Top-of-the-line partner, offering a high-quality product that they are constantly innovating. The product alone is more seamless, professional, and customizable than any other virtual event platform my team has encountered. The platform is leaps and bounds ahead in nearly every way. It also helps that they are backed by a strong, kind, helpful, and very involved team. They make you feel important, heard, and valued. They have been very accomodating of our event's unique needs and our team's requests. They helped us elevate the virtual component of our events so that we are genuinely proud of the end product and receive very positive reactions from our attendees. Overall we have not been able to find a platform that meets our needs as well as MeetingPlay, not even close. Of the many virtual events we have attended over the past nearly two years, no platform impresses us (or fellow attendees) more. Flexibility and customization, high-quality output, and strong customer service are the winning combination here.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

As a repeat customer, my team is very happy with what MeetingPlay offers. The only points of concern lie around the higher cost compared to other platforms (which we can justify based on the quality of the product and support we receive), and a desire to receive more analytics/reports on specific elements of the event (as event planners, we dream big and want for everything). The other elements we wish to see improve in the future are either on MeetingPlay's roadmap or are very specific to our event's needs (such as more complex matchmaking and networking tools).

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MeetingPlay has allowed us to capture our international audience and audience that does not wish to or cannot travel to our event. We have been able to extend the exposure of our educational material, our sponsors, and our exhibitors for a longer period of time than ever before and to a broader international audience. Keeping our members and attendees feeling connected and engaged is made easy with MeetingPlay.

 ### 40. They've got your back...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosie C. | Technical Solutions Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Collaboration, professionalism and consideration mixed with kindness. MeetingPlay is an excellent tool from both a planner and an attendee perspective. There may be other platforms in the market that offer a similar toolkit, but what we need, as an agency, is a platform partner that shows up every day. These are the people you want on your side.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

They are not inexpensive, but it's worth every penny.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customization, customization, customization...and their technical team come up with creative solutions every time.

 ### 41. Meeting Play Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monique H. | S, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The response time and flexibility. The team is very quick to respond and be available to your urgent needs. They are also willing to be very innovative and take the time to understand your specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Too many options! Very custom can create analysis paralysis. Can be somewhat difficult to understand pricing structure but once you ask all questions, which they are always willing to answer, it's much easier!

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Replicating the in person experience as best as possible for our very unique career fair. They are far and above the best at this!

 ### 42. Event Planner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Their ability to innovate and push the envelope creatively for our clients is second to none. Their support is also excellent during the pre-planning, execution and post-event stages.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The only downside (if you can even call it that) is that with a product evolving so much due to demand, we find ourselves excited about new offerings consistently, which leads to us pivoting to update scopes many times for the event.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ROI of virtual events for our clients has been outstanding. The ability to measure complex data points, login rates, and dwell time in the platform has been incredible. The final product of the platform is easy to use, engaging and industry-leading.

 ### 43. Long-Time Client

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

In addition to being a leader in their field, they are focused on relationships and attentive service. They are always open to new ideas!

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Pricing is at the top end of the market.

**Recommendations to others considering Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri):**

Great team of professionals, always focused on the latest technology and security, and open to discussing new ideas to make their products work for your event.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their products have allowed us to enhance attendee communication and quickly share important information pre, during, and post-conference. The interfaces are user-friendly and visually attractive.

 ### 44. Great Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The site was easy to use and navigate
We were able to brand the site with bright colors and graphics
Exhibitor was able to upload all of their information using a portal
They are able to customize the site to your needs

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The site is very expensive
We had some fire wall issues with some of our attendees

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are partnering with us to provide a platform that is easy to use and will ultimately attract more attendees to our conferences

 ### 45. MeetingPlay: A great partner - professionals at what they do.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis J. | Director, Enablement & Events, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

MeetingPlay was a great partner in producing our virtual events. There were flexible, creative, and provided great customer service. The platform was versatile and allowed us to customize our event and develop a customer journey that met our vision for the event. Access to reports and information was easily accessible and could use both in real-time and post-event. Their technical team was knowledgeable and worked seamlessly with our team for SSO integrations and other 3rd party companies that helped provide our overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Overall, we had a great experience. A few opportunities for future improvement were with additional reporting details that we would like access to and larger data dumps of the overall information. We had access to approximately 30 different types of reports but would've liked to have a single data dump to them import into a BI tool. We also explored alternate methods of displaying multiple people on live video during sessions with live Q/A.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a large global audience for our digital events. We wanted to provide a customized, professional event experience that would engage and keep our audience coming back across a multiple-week period. We needed to provide localization, translations, and interpretation for our global audience in multiple languages and wanted this to be seamless. Recognizing top performers in a digital world was another challenge we were able to solve working with MeetingPlay. We achieved a broader reach, better event engagement, customized experience, and events that represented our corporate brand.

 ### 46. Great event management software that offers virtual event capability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan B. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

I like Aventri's registration module. We use it for our annual Conference, and are able to easily track registration, where attendees are coming from, building custom reports, etc. We can also print badges on-site from the Aventri registration module, which is immensely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

I would like if the Abstracts module would "talk" to the Registration module. We have to do a bulk import of speakers each year and it takes up a lot of time. It would be much easier if Aventri could figure out a way to automatically transfer them.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently working out some troubleshooting issues within the Registration module, and Aventri is updating a lot of their systems. The benefits are enormous. Aventri has helped streamline our registration process, both on-site and remote.

 ### 47. My favorite platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

MeetingPlay's team is their greatest asset and strength. They're smart, flexible and true professionals. A lot of platforms out there have limitations that they try to work around, but with MeetingPlay you get straight answers and a team that consistently over-delivers.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

There really isn't much to dislike about this company. Seriously.

**Recommendations to others considering Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri):**

Try them, you'll love them.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've recommended MeetingPlay as a virtual and hybrid event platform solution for some of the biggest brands in the world. The benefit is a great experience for my clients and for their attendees.

 ### 48. Endless customization!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

MeetingPlay offers a fantastic array of customizable features and functions that can be tailored to your specific event needs and goals. Their customer service team is creative, knowledgeable, and overall amazing to work with as well.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Some of the features, especially for hybrid/in-person events, are a bit too expensive.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the age of Covid, we were trying to create a well-rounded, fun, and educational virtual event experience where attendees could enjoy the significant elements of our in-person events without sacrificing the overall quality. Through the MeetingPlay platform, we realized we could extend our reach to a greater audience than we ever could with an in-person event.

 ### 49. I am a senior virtual event producer.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

I like the ability to make relatively custom sites with ease. It is easy to use a lot of core functionality quickly. The in-event meetings and scheduling works very well.

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

The product is not quite as far along as the MP team may think. There are still a few holes in the product that the development team does not have answers for. Additionally, it can get expensive to have really custom experiences on the site.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are always looking for new solutions for virtual events. We have been able to make easy to use, attendee forward sites on Meeting Play that meet our customers needs.

 ### 50. White glove service

The customization options for making changes on the app to meet our client's demands

**What do you dislike about Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri)?**

Nothing they are great! I dont have any feedback in this area.

**What problems is Stova (Formerly Meetingplay & Aventri) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solve lots of problems with MeetingPlay! They always have solutions to our client's requests and are very cost-competitive when it comes to customizing our options
