What do you like best about Meeting Application?

- Push notification to inform users of updates / canceled sessions

- Easy and intuitive setup via Admin panel

- Good control over showing/hiding various features, renaming and reordering the menu items, changing icons and theme colors etc.

- Pictures for speakers

- Ability to tag multiple speakers to an event

- Map with routing features and map/image attachments for each location

What do you dislike about Meeting Application?

- No Admin iOS/Android app, the event must be edited online

- Filter icon does not allow filtering by room location (search bar does allow for filtering by room but this may not be intuitive to all users) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Meeting Application solving and how is that benefiting you?

We host an annual conference with over 1800 attendees, numerous speakers and sponsors who all need a central / mobile way to access conference information, session schedules, locations, receive push updates etc. This app was the perfect, easiest to setup solve for a volunteer-staffed conference like ours where we don't have the budget to develop our own app. Our branding was front and center, the app looked great and was easy to use and we appreciated the great support and quick turnaround from the Meeting App team. What do you like best about Meeting Application?

Opportunities that application gives when it comes to communicating with guests before, during and after the conference. Its simplicity and possibility to adjust boxes/elements to conference's needs. It helps with managing the conference - participants are informed about every change in agenda, can share opinions and photographs. Users can easily find the details abour rooms and speakers which makes them understand conference better which also has impact on conference's and organiser's image. What do you like best about Meeting Application?

The app gives you a lot of features and information in a nice and condensed way. All of them are accessible via the side menu which makes it very easy to navigate. Depending on the event there’s a lot of content that can be added into the app in various format. What do you dislike about Meeting Application?

While the users are browsing the app and the phone switches of the screen, they should be able to come back to the same place in the app. Currently, it provides other screens that become repetitive after a while. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the strongest features is the networking section where app users can easily find the details and connect, as well as the question box in the agenda section, where it’s possible to capture the feedback straight away. Even though we are a software house, we believe it’s better to jump into a ready-made app from Meeting Application rather then create an in-house app. It saves a lot of time and we were sure that the MeetingApplication team have awesome know-how about technology in organising events. "Great Event App that engaged participants"

What do you like best about Meeting Application?

Participants are engaged with the conference with the help of this app, where we use the polls, surveys and live questions during the sessions. Information like meeting agenda, floor plans for meeting rooms location can be easily reference to. Notification helps update participants on information and moving them around with ease during timekeeping.

Easy to use and user friendly backend CMS for administrators to quickly setup their event effortlessly. With sufficient tutorials and self help guides make it easy to understand and operate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meeting Application?

Some features can be further enhance like the Live Poll presentations - more graphical options etc. I'm sure the team will work on it to make it better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Meeting agendas are changed quite frequently and is a problem in the past on getting participants referring to the right agenda. Updating participants by other media like email, SharePoint does not work too well. What do you like best about Meeting Application?

The UI was clear and easy to use. Changes to the content were easy to make and see in the app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meeting Application?

the process for adding users was very poor, the user experience is very clunky - i had to upload some users multiple times and there were at least a few people who could never log in. This was by far the worst experience and wasted many hours for me. The second major issue was the survey, I talked through at length my requirements with your team and whilst it wasn't a standard request they told me they could create a survey that required users to upload 5 separate answers to 2 questions. When it came to me gathering that information only one reply had been save per person which made the survey useless. I had promised senior management this was possible within the app and to go back and request that all members of the conference email me with their replies instead was hugely time consuming, frustrating & embarrassing. When I brought this up with the team they just said saving all responses wasn't possible which is in complete contradiction to their original response. Also downloading any type of survey didn't work properly - the csv file only contain part of the required information which meant i had to manually copy and paste everything. We are very concerned and quite surprised by your review and the described difficulties.

In your review, you’ve mentioned two key issues: (1) user upload (2) survey export. Let me respond to each of those separately.

(1) In terms of the user upload, this process is fully transparent. First, you upload a template with all the email addresses and once it’s done you ask the system to send out the welcome emails. The only additional step for your event was adding the emails to the whitelist (extra security measure based on the access type you have selected). So if for example, you have created users but not added them to the whitelist, they will not have the access to the app. That is a security measure.

(2) Regarding the surveys, we have developed the feature of exporting individual responses with your event in mind and based solely on your event needs. The problems you have experienced were caused by the wrong choice of question type (single instead of multiple choice questions). That is why the questions did not work as they should.

I hope we will be able to avoid those issues at your future events.
