"Effortless Setup and Customization with Exceptional Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Medrio EDC?

I find Medrio EDC's user interface really helpful, and it makes working with EDC easier for me. The support team is super helpful and knowledgeable, which is great. I also appreciate how easy to use the system is. The customization options are very beneficial for us, as our protocol is specific and requires special data sets. Medrio builders manage to make it work flawlessly. The initial setup was smooth, and it was the best build and UAT I've experienced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

support service, easy to use, Cost, mostly meet all our requirement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Medrio EDC?

Reporting and dashboard is not very user friendly, we use our own report and dashboard. Lab management should be built in Dev and can be deployed to test and live. Once we launch live environment it is kind of rush for us to add all the ranges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rebecca Jones of Medrio EDC

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback! Reporting should make your job easier, not harder, so we take your frustration seriously. You should start seeing reporting improvements through the end of the year, with more capabilities rolling out in 2027. We're also thrilled to hear the ePRO updates have made a difference for your team!

"Responsive, Professional Medrio Team That’s Great to Work With"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Medrio EDC?

The Medrio team has been very responsive and great to work with. They have been helpful and professional. As we have not moved into UAT yet it is difficult to comment on the final product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Medrio EDC?

Having to enter all edits to the eCRF design and build into an Excel issues log was rather tedious and could possibly be better streamlined but that said it seems to have worked well as all requested edits were made correctly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Medrio EDC Review – From a Data Manager’s Perspective"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Medrio EDC?

Medrio’s form-building interface is extremely user-friendly, making it easy to quickly create and deploy study forms without heavy programming knowledge. The user administration tools are equally efficient, with clear role-based access controls that make system setup and oversight simple across teams and sites.

Medrio’s multi-environment setup (Development, Test, and Live) supports a smooth transition from design to production, ensuring thorough validation and minimizing errors while keep a trail of the build. The platform also integrates dictionary coding (MedDRA/WHODrug), which streamlines adverse event and medication coding workflows.

The edit check and form rules engine is powerful yet flexible, allowing both simple and complex data validation logic, including skip logic and dynamic field behaviors. This greatly enhances data quality and minimizes downstream cleaning effort. The lab management module simplifies lab data integration and reference range handling across sites. I also value Medrio EDC’s granular database lock capability – being able to lock at the form, visit, subject, or site level is especially useful for large, staggered trials.

What truly enhances the experience is Medrio’s responsive and knowledgeable support team; they’re quick to assist and genuinely invested in user success.

Overall, Medrio is a reliable, flexible, efficient, and user-friendly EDC platform that supports the full data management lifecycle from study build to database lock. I highly recommend it for teams seeking efficiency, flexibility, and excellent customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Medrio EDC?

The forms library feels quite basic and would benefit from being updated to include true CDISC standard forms, along with essential programmed checks and logic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Medrio EDC?

Every time you enter in data into a field it, then need to change it before leaving the screen it asks you why you have to change the data, I wish I could have a save button that would allow me to make changes then save then after I save then ask me why I needed to make changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rebecca Jones of Medrio EDC

Thank you for the review! We’re thrilled Medrio is keeping your work organized while eliminating data transcription for your team.

We also completely hear you on the change justification prompts feeling clunky. That workflow is built in to ensure proper auditability and prevent data from being saved without a logged reason. Still, we know those extra steps add up, and we take full ownership of making compliance feel smoother.

Thank you again for sharing; your feedback helps us improve! If you ever want to talk to us directly, feel free to reach out to support@medrio.com.
