IMS (Intelligent Medical Software) by Meditab Software is an Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Practice Management solution that includes applications for e-prescribing, practice reporting, a patient portal, and communication tools that can be tailored to various practice sizes and types. It supports 40+ specialty modules such as general practice, Allergy and Immunology, Fertility, Ophthalmology, Community Health, FQHCs, Dental and Cosmetic. IMS is built for Internal Medicine, OB/GYNs, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Rheumatology, and more. The solution can be deployed in the cloud and on-premise. IMS comes with a selection of medical forms and templates unique to each specialty, helping doctors in the charting process. The EHR allows users to collect data related to a patient's medical history, demographics, lab test results, medication history, allergies, and much more. It also supports smart features like speech-to-text and touch-pen recognition. Thanks to secure chat features, a patient app, and full telehealth and telemedicine options, physicians can also increase patient engagement and empower their practices for the future. **What do you like best about Meditab?**

Truthfully there is not a lot to like about this software, but I'll go ahead and acknowledge the fact that there are a lot of features in this EMR. The problem is that these features are useless when they aren't configured by the right people, and it costs quite a bit to get the right people to do it.

**What do you dislike about Meditab?**

The user interface is complicated and ugly with multiple windows needing to be navigated in order to complete one task. The configuration is convoluted and redundant making for a slow tedious workflow. There are lots of places to add chart information, but it's all designed in a way that makes it not very user friendly.

**Recommendations to others considering Meditab:**

If you must go with the IMS software, spend extra on a full service implementation/configuration from the reseller. But if you're looking for something user friendly, keep looking!

**What problems is Meditab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This would solve the requirements of the EHR incentive program, IF it's configured properly and you have a lot of time and money to invest in set up and integration with various applications. However, this cost our company a lot of money with no return on investment.
