UI is improved a lot from Classic Rave to Medidata Rave EDC, and is now given in such a way that, all activities in data entry can be done easily. Multiple users can log in, a single user can log in using different roles; Rave EDC also supports the use of multiple tabs simultaneously. **What do you dislike about Medidata Rave?** Edits will work only on save in Medidata Rave and helpdesk acknowledgement of issues is super fast, however, takes a quite long time to rectify the issues/errors. **What problems is Medidata Rave solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being a user friendly EDC in end user perspective, ability to use this EDC, simultaneously in different roles for a same login, and handling different tabs/windows simultaneously, makes it one of the best EDCs to work on, as these features are not available in EDCs like Marvin and Viedoc. ### 4. I can get end-to-end information about a study through rave reporter modules. What not there are many more modules like this. **What do you dislike about Medidata Rave?** To be frank I haven't found a single dislike for the Medidata rave because there have been updates to the Medidata after covid pandemic to encourage De-centralized clinical trials which is simply amazing. **What problems is Medidata Rave solving and how is that benefiting you?** Recently we have started using Rave RCM for uploading study-related documents, which is simply amazing. ### 14. When compared to other Competitors like Veeva, it's straightforward to handle it for programming. **What do you dislike about Medidata Rave?** As I had worked with many databases compared to the other clinical databases, it is straightforward to handle it in creating the eCRFs and programming the edit checks. So, I haven't found any dislikes on this database. **What problems is Medidata Rave solving and how is that benefiting you?** The major problem Medidata is mainly solving is that we can't program the complicated edit checks. I worked on ten different Cancer related studies and entering a patient's demographics and keeping track of their progress is significant. Medidata Rave has by far been one of the easiest softwares to enter patient data on. It is convenient to navigate through different pages and different patient MRN numbers as well. **What do you dislike about Medidata Rave?** Overall, my experience has been well with Medidata. However, I thought there were a little too many demographic tabs on there that could have been minimized (optional to fill in). Aside from that, alot of the studies do not use Medidata. I have worked with other softwares that are extremely slow and Medidata is more easy to learn from. Some softwares can be challenging; however, this one is more straight-forward. **Recommendations to others considering Medidata Rave:** This is definitely one of the easier and more efficient/faster softwares to use! Sponsors should use Medidata more than other programs. **What problems is Medidata Rave solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was mostly working on queries that were generated automatically and from the sponsors on Medidata Rave. I realized that while working on many queries, it was beneficial that Medidata Rave was fast and work was done rather quickly and efficiently because of this. I am also in charge of entering patient demographic data and their progress from each cycle. I enter the medications/IVs that were conducted and/or their questionnaires. ### 25. Data entry is also simple, as is responding to queries. **What do you dislike about Medidata Rave?** I have only one improvement, which would be to add the option to save forms as incomplete. A lot of forms such as concomitant medications and adverse events are continually updated throughout a subject's enrollment. Because the forms in Medidata can only be saved as complete, when you go back to update a form you must add a reason why the data was changed after being saved. This is extremely tedious and is a big drawback for me. **What problems is Medidata Rave solving and how is that benefiting you?** Medidata makes sharing data with sponsors quick and easy. Queries are also simple to navigate and respond to, so the overall communication between our site and the study sponsor is smooth. It’s pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. I’ve had several sponsors request the use of Medidata RAVE. **What do you dislike about Medidata Rave?** Once you mess up in data entry, it's a pain to fix - the whole page re-configures and you lose track of where you were entering data, it's very confusing. **Recommendations to others considering Medidata Rave:** Your first patient is the hardest.
