"Cumbersome Asset Management and Limited Portal Features Need Improvement"
2/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

Sub folder creation from category section of upload screen is immensely helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

Downloading of assets is very time consuming, requiring multiple click boxes to begin download

No "recently uploaded" option when uploading assets into Portals

Portals only allows one subfolder to be synched to Portal category

In cases where assets are added to multiple subfolders, a search function in the category selection stage of upload would be helpful

Our team has multiple subfolders of the same name under different master folders. The ability to duplicate a master folder would be helpful in cases where we need to create a new master folder featuring all of the same subfolders.

Inclusion of subfolders or master folders in search function would be helpful in quickly locating a folder instead of clicking through several folders to get it.

The ability to add assets directly to a portal from upload screen would save time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

These are exactly the kinds of workflow improvements we’re actively focused on.

I’d really appreciate the chance to connect directly so we can better understand how your team works today and ensure your feedback is fully captured in our product roadmap. "Streamlined Asset Access with User-Friendly Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

I use MediaValet to grab assets for marketing from a major company. It solves the problem of not having the marketing materials on hand, as I can just go there and get them whenever needed. I like how everything is organized and the search feature is great. The preview feature allows me to see what the media looks like before downloading it, which is really helpful. Additionally, I appreciate being able to download a whole zipped folder of the assets. The initial setup was super easy, I just needed to log in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

I wish seeing the full file name and what type was easier. Just show what the file is so I'm not downloading something that I don't want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mostly Intuitive Asset Management with Good Accessibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

I like that MediaValet is a nice web-based solution accessible by anyone with proper sharing links and has an intuitive storage layout. The portals are great for sharing assets with key customers or media during product launches. I probably like the portals and the nested folder structure the most. I appreciate being able to separate and title sections within the portals and add a hero image, which makes it feel professional. The functionality for previewing CAD files and integration with Autodesk is really great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

Renaming folders is a bit of a pain. Once you create a folder, moving it or renaming it requires going into settings, where a simple renaming function would be better. Also, when you have assets and nested folders within one folder, you can only see the assets when that folder is selected, which is a bit weird. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, User-Friendly Interface That Saves Time on Media Sharing"
4/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

I love how easy it is to use. Adding media and generating a variety of shares saves me so much time. The organization is great, and the user interface is clean and genuinely user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

Search and filtering aren’t always as fast or as accurate as I’d like, especially when I’m working with large libraries. A few common actions also take too many clicks to complete, and overall the platform can feel sluggish at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Metadata Management, But Portal Design and Organization Needs Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

The ease of metadata entry, such as bulk uploads/updates. The accessibility of sending out assets to external sources.

It is easy to utilize and train new users. I also used several of the integrations (Wrike, Salesforce, Microsoft Suite) before we moved away from those platforms. They were easy to install and Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

The keyword and attribute function that doesn't allow for editing or corrections. Such as mispellings, incorrect information, etc. When there are many team members uploading and editing metadata, it is hard to correct an error after it is used for multiple assets.

The portal screen is particularly frustrating as you can't sort or organize the created portals.

Our institution heavily relys on the portals and the inablilty to have templates or organize them by any metric is frustrating. The only way to interact with the list is the search feature and when you have sever. al portals in process with similar names, the search feature isn't as effective.

Additionally, there is not an easy way for external individuals to submit materials to the database. We have tried several options, but I still have to recieve media assets, save them to my computer, then perform an upload. A type of guest or holding library for external submissions would be a huge benefit for collaborative work like mine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly DAM with Cloud Flexibility"
3.5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

I find using MediaValet makes it easy to access our clients' digital assets without back-and-forth emails. I really appreciate that it's cloud-based, so I'm not tied to a computer. The search functions are pretty awesome, allowing me to find what I need without further training in the program. The file organization is impressive, and the interface is very user-friendly, making the whole process very simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

Sometimes the login process is a little weird. I have to change my password if I’m going to use a different device even though I know I’m using the correct one. Besides consistently getting locked out, I don’t have much more details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Advanced Filters Make Searching Easy—Especially Text in Images and Videos"
4/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

There are advanced filters to make searching more convenient. One example is Text in Images and Videos feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

I am not really a power user but the navigation on the assets really depend on how well the assets are organized. No pain points as consumer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Wrike Integration, but Customizable Taxonomy Templates Are Needed"
3.5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

I really like that it integrates with Wrike, another tool I use a lot at work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

I wish there were renaming shortcuts (to easily rename batches of photos), or templates for organization/taxonomy that could be customized. We had to make up our own WHILE we were learning about the product, and now we're stuck with a taxonomy that is less than ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Photo Access and Quick Downloads"
5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

I love how MediaValet makes it far easier to access all of my university’s photos in one place, with everything nicely organized when I'm trying to find photos. The ease of accessing files and the fast, efficient downloads are standout features for me. I'm able to find and use images taken by many people throughout the university and incorporate them into projects for branding. Plus, the initial setup was extremely simple. What do you dislike about MediaValet?

I haven’t really looked for it, but a dark mode would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
