What I find most helpful about Prisma are the many different ways I'm able to find invoices -- whether it is from exact invoice numbers to the many different filter variations and or reports I can input to find exactly what I'm looking for. Personally, I also wish that Prisma would retain a longer duration of open tabs and not automatically log off if the tab has not been in use within a short period of time. Prisma is easily accessible and helps alleviate the problems of older software programs, such as when it comes to looking up invoices, inputting them, and creating a hub where both finance and buyers can better collaborate when it comes to monitoring buys and reconciliation. Personally, this benefits me as a Media Finance Analyst, because I'm able to work with buyers and easily input invoice requests, as well as mediate most issues they may face when it comes to the finance side of Prisma. Prisma has a great User Interface that is well organized and pleasing to look at. Utilizing Prisma for Digital buys is extremely intuitive and very easy to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Prisma? We've been forced to switch from using MediaOcean Spectra to using Prisma for our linear buys. We didn't have an urgent need to switch on our end, but the Prisma support told us this transition needed to be implemented. We're now in the most busy time of our year for buys and when we have questions about the new system the support team seems not to be knowledgeable enough to answer our questions. Our training sessions have been hours of sitting in silence waiting for the support team to figure out how to help us. Prisma (Mediaocean) simplifies the media buying and planning process by bringing together campaign planning, financial management, and performance tracking within a single platform. Its automated workflows and integrations with ad servers such as DCM help maintain accuracy across plans, purchases, and billing. By centralizing campaign information, Prisma enhances team visibility, making it more straightforward to handle approvals, budgets, and communication with vendors. While Prisma (Mediaocean) is helpful for organizing and managing media buys, I have found it can become slow and laggy, especially when handling large or complex campaigns. Uploading or editing a high volume of placements often requires additional time, and the system sometimes freezes or times out during periods of heavy use. Furthermore, the interface feels somewhat outdated and lacks flexibility for bulk updates or quick changes, which makes managing large-scale campaigns less efficient than it should be. By centralizing campaign information, it reduces the likelihood of version control problems and eliminates the need to manage scattered data in spreadsheets or emails. This centralization enhances organization, as all plans, budgets, and vendor information are stored in one location, making it simpler to monitor progress and maintain consistency among teams. I like how we can import our own layouts, and the flighting layout is really easy to see the monthly spend and impressions. It's easy to send updates to our vendors as well. We've encountered some glitches, and there are times when pennies will get shifted around without our knowledge, which we don't always love when it comes down to billing.
