What do you like best about Median.co?

Everything, honestly. The attention from the team, the ease of their product and seeing/using your site as an app before it's published and the very low cost considering the alternative of building it yourself. What do you dislike about Median.co?

What problems is Median.co solving and how is that benefiting you?

For 16 years, we had passed on building native apps and instead offered simple web and mobile versions of our software that were easy for our small team to build and maintain. Anytime we need to change something (minor or major), we make the change in one place and everyone gets it instantly, without us having to resubmit an app to Apple and Google and also require our users to download/install an update.

In recent years, more and more of users would ask where our app was and/or why we didn’t provide native apps. Owners at restaurants we serve would frequently ask us if we were planning on building an app and would let us know that would make their lives easier when onboarding new staff. People naturally look for an app for everything now and we were not there. We always directed them to our mobile site and stayed away from building additional native software (apps).

Seeing our mobile first-site running as a native app for both iOS and Android within minutes of getting started (using Median's tool) was like a light bulb moment. Realizing we can still update our software in one place and have these apps see the changes instantly was a big deal. It became clear to us that having a presence on the app stores would be quick and would make both our lives and our customer’s lives easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is easy to create a mobile app from your web portal, with straightforward documentation and staff to help you deploy it if you're new to the process. The process of creating a mobile application using our existing website as the content.

The ability to integrate the app and webpages through a JavaScript bridge.

Quick responses to questions and issues.

Being able to resolve issues related to our technology stack above and beyond their product.

Changing their base-code based upon our common needs.

Incredible price point.

Availability of add-ons (we use the Push Notfications module).

The staff is friendly and professional.

Offering an Enterprise Agreement that provides white-glove service.

What do you dislike about Median.co?

It's hard to think of a downside. If I had to find one, it is the cost of some of the add-ons that seems high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Median.co solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our front-line workers need access to company news, HR service, etc. We use SharePoint so creating a Site was the best path forward. However, the users needed a mobile app that is present in the App Stores, and the availability of Push Notifications. This approach allows our desk workers to access the SharePoint Site directly and the front-line workers to access the mobile app - with different CSS\JavaScript for a targeted experience for each audience.
