It works perfectly as a filter for spam, phishing and virus emails. Once the configuration is completed successfully, no further intervention is required. Its cost is really good, accessible for all the benefits it provides. Notifications are explicit so it is easy to know what the problem is. The support is excellent, the few problems that came our way were fixed in a very short time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Security Gateway? It is not a problem in itself but we would like them to add an integration with Outlook or Gmail that allows to automatically include emails to a white or black list. Recommendations to others considering Security Gateway: Security Gateway has improved our lives, it is versatile, efficient and very easy to use, it is also economical. It does not present any fault and they take care of treating their clients in the best way and offering immediate solutions. The workers of our company are delighted with this platform, it is one of our favorites when it comes to security. There is no doubt that from us, Security Gateway is fully recommended. Thanks to this software we have saved ourselves various inconveniences with regard to phishing, spam and virus problems, even the employees of the IT department are grateful since at least ten of our machines were plagued with viruses and they should take care of this. Security Gateway is surprisingly easy to setup and configure but offer some of the latest and best security features compared to some of the most expensive Mail/Security platforms. What do you dislike about Security Gateway? Some of the more advanced features is a bit more difficult to understand and configure but luckily Google and customers support is always close at hand. Recommendations to others considering Security Gateway: It is really work while spending some time installing and evaluating Security Gateway for your email services. What problems is Security Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you? Since we started using Security Gateway, we have not had any viruses reach any of our end users. The AntiSpam features has also drastically reduced Spam and with additional Administrator options enable you too perfect the spam detecting rules. What do you dislike about Security Gateway? it has a tendency to stop running. i'd say once every few months i need to restart the service. a better local user interface. local users have a hard time migration their interfaces. There are some weird quirks with advanced configurations that aren’t immediately obvious. Sometimes I end up rewriting built-in features in SIEVE to add more control. Recommendations to others considering Security Gateway: Start simple, mirror your current configuration and be sure that if your existing mail server has any filtering (in particular SPF, EHLO, IP, etc) you bypass this filtering for mail coming from SecurityGateway. We don't receive un-wanted mails anymore, not mails from registrered spam addresses, no outbreak mails - and only very few spam mails you have to treat manually. When we recieve mails from e.g. our payroll company, they are per default rated as spam, because the attachment (pdf) is password protected.
