Born inside a hospital service and developed over 10 years, it replaces spreadsheets, paper schedules and hallway arrangements with one clear, shared planning for the whole team: physicians, nurses, secretaries and paramedical staff. Planning is done in four simple steps. First, define the needs of each activity and operating room (for example one junior and two seniors). Then collect staff availabilities, plan on-call duties, and assign everyone. An integrated Assistant guides the manager at each step: when an absence occurs, it suggests who can replace and explains why (available, rested, with the right skill). Auto-planning fills open slots while respecting skills, quotas and rest rules, and the final decision always stays with the manager. Requests are centralized in one place. Leave, wishes and availability collections are answered by each staff member from their phone, reminders are sent automatically, and the service rules are checked at the moment of the request. Shift swaps and absences follow the same path. Each staff member has a personal portal on smartphone to see their up-to-date schedule, send requests and receive changes. A hall display shows who is where in the department, refreshed every 5 minutes. Reports cover working time, holidays and fairness of duties over the year, and every schedule can be exported to PDF or Excel. Data is hosted in Europe, passwords are encrypted, sessions are protected and an encrypted backup is made every night outside the main host. MD Management is 100% Belgian, with close support from A to Z: setup, on-site training and follow-up, including a 3-month pilot for new departments.
