What do you like best about MaxMind GeoIP®?

There was an option that allowed one to read from a database file that they would send you month by month. This allowed us to perform a join on the traffic using distributed cache. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaxMind GeoIP®?

The query of the static file used a proprietary piece of code which I had to spend time learning. It could have been easier I suppose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Good and simple international traffic management tool. That also allows to discover information about a specific IP address. Great free database is provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaxMind GeoIP®?

Less accurate routing than Anycast has. Harder to disperse DDoS attacks.
