**What do you like best about MaxAssist?**

I like the way the emails show up with our logo on them and everything. Looks very professional.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

There's no app for phone or tablet where are you? Can communicate with patients easier. Also, these medication with the patient does not go to the patient chart automatically.

**What problems is MaxAssist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us solve the problem of patients being surprised that they get charged for a no-show fee. We are more productive because we can get patient reminders easily, and they also give us a nice list to work from as far as getting patients scheduled.

I love the reminders that tell patients how long it has been. The short notice list is very easy to use and helps fill in open appointments. The patients love it too.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

I do not like that they do not have forms. The available forms are very limited and do not integrate.

The short notice list saves so much time. The recall messages help us keep patients from becoming inactive.  Our hygiene schedule is staying full and I credit recall max.

**What do you like best about MaxAssist?**

I like their integration with multiple dental software and add-ons like SignForms.
RecallMax sends automated appointment reminders to patients via email or text, making it easier for patients to remember their appointments and reducing the number of missed appointments.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

While the software is generally user-friendly, some email reminders need a more modern or visually appealing interface. Some users may require more advanced customization features, such as changing the layout and design of the email reminders and adding custom images and CSS.

**What do you like best about MaxAssist?**

The short notice appointment feature is super handy, especially since we have so many more people calling in sick with the pandemic, and we're booking so far in advance that people need to book appointments two months out. We have been able to get most patients in sooner than expected!

It also saves tons of time on reminder calls and recall phone calls, as we can see which patients received messaging when and whether they've opened the email sent. It's nice to see who doesn't read emails so we can follow up appropriately.

Texting is also SO HANDY, considering most young people never answer their phones, and if we need to make short follow-ups or shift appointments slightly, we get responses quicker than leaving a message.

The ability to easily send every patient the option to review us has given us great insight into what patients are thinking.  It has also enabled us to have great reviews online.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

It would be nice if the messaging options were a little more customizable, such as choosing dates that we can send out the two-day reminders (for long weekends or weeks when the office schedule is more variable). We've also had patients with bigger families a little overwhelmed by the messaging, since if they have one person coming in each day they get a message every day, and have requested that we send them no messaging since there isn't a way to tailor it that way.  An option for family messaging would be helpful, one email / text that lists everyone's appointment.

**Recommendations to others considering MaxAssist:**

Call support if you have questions. They are very helpful :)

**What problems is MaxAssist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are saving lots of time that was usually taken up trying to contact patients with reminders or follow ups. We also have a better way of tracking which patients we need to follow up with regarding pre-determinations or treatment plans.   It has enabled us to get a good look at how many patients are falling through the cracks and work on the issue.

**What do you like best about MaxAssist?**

RecallMax is relatively easy to use. The automatic remainders are a big time saver.  It has excellent features like an unscheduled appointments list, short notice call list, and Due and overdue patients list.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

There are not any, except we realize the US version of recall max has a feature of form integration which would be awesome if we have the same in Canada. Otherwise, our team loves RecallMax.

**What problems is MaxAssist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Over the last few years since we started using RecallMax, we haven't had any issues that I can recall. However, when we had our server changed in our office, the recall max team was very diligent in dealing with it, relatively fast and supportive. The process was much simpler than I anticipated with the help of Customer service at Smart Web Canada.

It works very well, and when it doesn't, the customer care is second to none, and I've been in business for over thirty years!

There are glitches in communication with patients receiving texts sometimes, or not receiving them.

Our offices seem to like using it, and many find it extremely useful to fill their schedules.

The software can sometimes be confusing and isn't always user-friendly. I also wish you could sort data per week.

I love how we can mark specific times that the patient needs on certain days.

I dislike that it isn't integrated with our system fully. We have to go in and delete patients from the list often. It also sends patients who have scheduled messages, sometimes stating that they haven't been in for an appointment when they have.

RecallMax has been incredible in reactivating old patients and inactive patients.  It took about 30 days to see the effects, but it has made a profound difference in our practice and hygiene program.  Great product!!

We try to prebook hygiene appointments whenever possible but sometimes that doesn't work for everyone. RecallMax has really helped us stay connected with patients who don't prebook. It has also helped us connect with inactive patients and has kept our workflow steady.

The only change I would like to see is all messages sent from RecallMax automatically copy into the patients chart in our practice software.

I love that when we have a cancellation, I can send out a bulk email to the patients on the cancellation list at one time.  We can usually fill a cancellation in 5 mintues.  Less time spent on the phone.

Everything! From confirming schedules to sending out emails reminding patients that they are due. Sending out birthday emails.  Recall lists. Sending out massive emails for notices, celebrations etc..

The info floats on the daysheet and is easily accessible. The ability to communicate with patients is simple. The 'to do' lists provide a systematic road map to efficiently book our patients.

Not much to dislike at all. I do find the message centre a bit cumbersome when creating notes to our patients.

We had a fire and our software program did not have any recoverable records.  Recall max was able to get information to contact patients who were booked.  Better thank competitors.

Nothing.  IF your practice is not very busy, I guess it could be considered expensive but worth it!

cumbersome with many menus. Takes quite a bit to train new staff on how to use it. Also, it does not show all the unscheduled treatment (only treatment that has been booked)

**What do you like best about MaxAssist?**

They have been so easy to work with from the moment we tested their product, to implementation, to follow up requests. They promptly respond to my emails and solve the issues quickly. The software is quite easy to use - as is the case with most things, there is so much to use, we likely are not maximizing our experience. When we decide to make the time for more training I know it is available online. I also like that they are a Canadian company and our information is not leaving the country. I also love that it syncs up with Dentrix so well.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

There have been no real downsides to this product or their service.

**Recommendations to others considering MaxAssist:**

It's been an easy transition with support offered whenever we've needed it. Well worth the effort to make the change from an alternate company.

Recall Max takes care of a great deal of our appointment confirmations and patient reminders. It has made rebooking patients a lot easier. The newsletters we can send out are also beneficial.

I dislike that as a manager your float window does not have all team updates.

Train up on it, follow up with your staff and retrain them to ensure the tool is being used effectively. As an administrator, track your team's usage, if they are properly using it then they are working efficiently and are booking your patients.

Solving the Recall problem, booking patients, not having long reports to call off on.

I love the tracking of unscheduled treatment and recalls, so easy to follow up with parents of our patients. Also, everything is so connected. I love it

I do wish it did more for restorative follow up like it does recall. I also wish you could text any number not just specific to what's in dentrix. We have had some issues with it going down lately but they are always very quick to respond and have it running as quickly as they can.

I would highly recommend using recallMax, easy to use, great support and it works amazingly

I like that when RecallMAX sends out text and email reminders, it lets the patient know how long it's been since their last visit. Patients are often surprised that it has been that many months since their cleaning.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

It would be nice if RecallMAX would have a more straightforward callback reminder function so that you can quickly choose how many weeks they would like to be called back in. For example, the patient would like a call back in three weeks for one family member but a two-week callback for themselves.

**Recommendations to others considering MaxAssist:**

While RecallMAX syncs with dental practice software, users still have to check the patient's chart in both RecallMAX and the practice software because they don't always match.

**What problems is MaxAssist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We find it very useful that RecallMAX organizes and breaks down our calling lists according to how long it has been since the patient's last appointment. It saves us time so that we are not wasting too much time calling patients who have not been here in years but still can reach out to those patients during slower times.

The basic features are good. Basic help is good.

For the price we pay, I expect way more service. The cost of Dentrix is less than RecallMax. They seem greedy because I asked for basic info on who was contacted this week, and they gave me a broken record response of "You can pay for us to generate the information.". Next, I am disappointed we can not have the name of our practice on the text. Finally, they still over a year have not changed the name of the contact information sent to me in the email asking me to do a review. It has the name of the old office manager. One last thing, I am disappointed with this review process because RecallMax works in Dental, it is not even in your drop down for a selection. Who double checked that?

**Recommendations to others considering MaxAssist:**

Their basic product is good. I wouldn't say great. Pricing is quite high for the customer service level. Other software companies are excited to provide extra services in their package. RecallMax does not do that.

**What problems is MaxAssist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contacting patients for their recall and hygiene appointments is good but, we get people saying the text looks like spam. I wouldn't say that they "increase our business performance", I would say, Dentrix has deficiencies which RecallMax fulfills.

All notes do not transfer into Abeldent, for example  appointment requests.

RecallMAX will drastically improve your ability to connect with patients by text message and email. It reminds them of appointments, with individual preferences when needed, and will remind patients when they are past due automatically. It saves you time and money!

**What problems is MaxAssist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RecallMAX allows us to have an automated confirmation system and reminder for patients overdue for hygiene. By allowing patients to request appointments by text message or email from the reminder is amazing. We get so many appointment requests each month, and it's so easy to book these patients.

RecallMax has been most helpful with staying on top of pending treatment and recall. They've also done a great job making sure our patients know when their appointments are scheduled and their system allows two way texting which is so great with our patients today.

The downside of RecallMax is linking the request for a google review or being able to share our survey score with our patients and potential clients that are looking to choose us as a dental provider.

RecallMax has helped our office filter through the patients who have moved or chosen another dental provider. It has also helped us keep on top of unscheduled treatment and patients who are due for their continuing care.

Staff responds very quickly. Even our most intricate requests they are able to accomodate us or come close. 
They really do a great job at helping the best way to use their system.  It is a real time saver with confirmations and notifications.
It was fantastic during Covid to send out mass e-mails to our patients.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

That the text messages do not come from our office phone number. It shows up to our patients as a 1 800 or 1 888 number.

We have just integrated a new dental software program, and the RM notes were not being left in a convenient spot. They have helped us the most they can and it was better for sure.

The most important thing is how integrated the program is with our Dentrix program. The reminders go out by pulling info from the ledger (when the person was last in) as opposed to pulling from the recare system in Dentrix (which isn't always accurate).

The only thing I find that could be added, is to have the patient's insurance info (who the insurance provider is ei-- blue cross or green shield) in the primary pt page.

Way more people are pre-confirmed. As well as the same-day reminder goes out a couple of hours before their appt so if they have forgotten, we have a chance to fill the spot, utilizing the short notice device. Texting and the virtual waiting room have also eliminated crowded waiting rooms.

**What do you like best about MaxAssist?**

The lists are very easy to use. Short notice, broken appointments, unscheduled treatment, overdue for recalls/hygiene. I also love that they are linked to the family members so it is very easy to access. I also love the dashboard for reports. I love how it notifies us of which patients have been contacted and by whom. No one gets slipped through the cracks. The customer service is top notch!

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

I don't like how we have to input for the ASAP list manually. I wish it would sync with our dentrix system and pull the ASAP list from there, instead of manually input. Also, we would like to be able to text anyone rather than only people that have an active chart. We have many split families, and they all don't necessarily come here, so it is frustrating that we have to make a chart to text them.

Getting patients in that have requested appointments & reactivating some since covid!
