They send appropriate consults and surveys based on my expertise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Maven? ALL EXPERTS BEWARE: THEY WILL NOT PAY YOU! I have consulted for them on a multi-step project about 4 months ago now and still have not received payment. They keep stating that they are waiting on the client but 4 months is an extremely long time frame. I feel that they have used my expertise for free and they will not pay me. There is no customer service phone number to reach them. You can only reach them by email. I have emailed them now and they are not responding. I find it useful to have touchpoints with lots of different experts worldwide that can feed into our insights. It's really helpful that we can have continued relationships with the experts for more consultations, and it's reassuring to know that NDA and confidentiality are covered within the platform's agreements. I like that you can choose who you talk to based on their response to your question, which helps in filtering down to the most relevant people. I find Maven's detailed projects valuable because they collect holistic information. I also appreciate the relevant projects they provide, especially if the payment process is streamlined. I'm struggling to get a payment from the past month, and all I know is there is a 'technical problem' in processing the payment. The status of the problem and timeline for resolution is absent. I am inclined to decline future opportunities as getting a payment becomes a headache with Maven. I regularly face payment issues with them.
