**What do you like best about Material Gallery?**

It's easy to share design to your colleague, UI is familiar if you use G suite for work.

**What do you dislike about Material Gallery?**

I don't think it's updated anymore, decommissioned pretty early sadly

**What problems is Material Gallery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

when you're sharing your design it's important to have them updated and material gallery helps this. It's easier to update your design and get a quick comment from your colleague.

  ### 2. Top Design System Library

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Material Gallery?**

Google's Material Design System is one of the most well-known design systems along side competitors like Fluent and HIGs (Human Interface Guidelines).

Material Design is being a standard set of rules, guidelines, components and rules for creating websites and apps, has set the standard for websites and web apps online.

When i was a student, reading it for hours helped me understand user interface design deeply with clear guidelines.

**What do you dislike about Material Gallery?**

Arguably, Google's Material Library is more for android, while HIGs is made for Apple.
Personally, I'm a fan of Apple products so HIG Design System is something I'm more used to visually.
However, Google Material is sequenced, categorized and paced well so that makes learning and consuming it easy.

Another point is that following the Material Library guidelines may result in your app looking "Google-y" which has its pros and cons. Cons being that it might look like Google's apps without the Google brand, which would seem odd.

**Recommendations to others considering Material Gallery:**

Google Material is definitely one of the best design systems on the web, although HIGs, Fluent, and a lot other design systems are also free to reference online. Material is well sequenced, paced and categorized, so it's easy to understand. However, sometimes it may be hard to find what you're looking for. For example, when i can't remember the exact px of a button's height, it is not possible to CTRL + F "button height", because it's an image text. It'd be great if Material would make the image text, coded or script instead.

Other great design systems to check out at:
Alibaba's Ant Design System (Used widely on chinese websites)
HIG Human Interface Guidelines
Fluent
IBM Design Language

**What problems is Material Gallery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google's Material Design system has been a free resource for designers in start-ups like myself to save time and not start from scratch to design a guideline or style guide. The time that the designers in Google took to craft and plan for Design system is impressive, and this in turn saves thousands of designers time to design a style guide, drawing references and following standard design guidelines and keep in mind accessibility.

  ### 3. Very helpful app

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Material Gallery?**

As a designer it has helped me a lot to share and receive feedback for the work performed. As this app gives this functionality free, it helped to improve my work.

**What do you dislike about Material Gallery?**

Animation done is lottle bit more than the actual need. Use of vibrant color is also not preferred by me.

**What problems is Material Gallery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If I develop anything it helps me to get it reviewed in a easy way. Also I can share my thoughts for someone else
