Five months in, MASV has been a dream to use. Lightning fast uploads, no complaints from clients. All in all, I haven't really wasted much time doing it wrong, and clients have all gotten their deliveries, but still working out the right way to send my message while delivering. I produce digital media (audio and video). I started with Dropbox - but they trick my clients into thinking they need to subscribe to the service just to recieve files I send, so I ran away from that service. I made a Synology Cloud for delivery to replace Dropbox, but then my clients all complained of excruciatingly slow downloads. After some research, I learned that delivering large files actually needs some expensive infrastructure, and that pushed me into discovering MASV. Now I can upload and deliver large files quickly and they are easily and quickly downloaded by clients without issue. I like the pricing structure and think it is fair. I know I'm getting the files there faster than traditional tools (such as Dropbox)—not even close. And the interface is fantastic for people who aren't great with technology. The days are over for small files. I just got an audio BWF with 30+ channels and it was 60GB. 2. Color - I need the timeline in a post/mezzanine format. And its' going to be big. 3. Shifting between cloud storage. I don't want to have to download key files locally before going between AWS and Dropbox. Masv makes it easy to move assets at the cloud level.
