What do you like best about HeyMarvin?

I am a relatively new user and was very happy with the price. I thought, why not give it a shot? You can tell this product was built by researchers. I have evaluated similar products and they made very little sense to me. Marvin makes a lot of sense and is very intuitive. The AI features rock and it will save us a ton of time. I also love the integrations like being able to see summaries, comments, and video in Figma. We have a very small team and Marvin is going to be a gamechanger for us! Some of the formatting needs help. It isn't too bad but a little annoying at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Marvin take our research team to the next level"

What do you like best about HeyMarvin?

It gives us so many possibilities, makes our work easier and allows us to do things much faster. Marvin has allowed us to get to very deep analyses in a short time and yet it has made the information analysis process shorter. It allows us to document everything we have on research and allows all the collaborators in our company to access user experience information easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?

Still improving some structure and bugs but nothing that will prevent us from using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HeyMarvin?

I love the abiity to directly attach pieces of user interviews to "insights." This allows me to quick share valuable feedback with other stakeholders. I can be the one to comb through long interviews and then easily share only the important bits with others to provide credibility to UX decisions. I also love that customer support is so on top of things. If you ever have an issue, you can email them and they work to correctt things immediately. I use Marvin ever day. I really can't think of any downsides. Marvin is so useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Really great tool with Ai tools that are actually useful!"

What do you like best about HeyMarvin?

Marvin is super helpful. They have a tool called AskAi that you can use on any research asset you upload (e.g. video transcript) that will give you answers relevant to your question. I'm also a big fan of their word doc transcript exports and how they format the names and time-stamps. Of the repository tools I've explored, this one seems by far the best right now. Feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn if you have any questions (John Coker). Also, their team is next-level when you need help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?

There is very little I dislike with the tool itself. Their smaller plans weren't as customizable as I would have liked...but maybe that's me wishing for too much haha. Overall, I'm a BIG fan of Marvin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Marvin is all we, ux researchers didn't know we wanted!"

What do you like best about HeyMarvin?

The best thing about Marvin is that we can see they are taking the researchers bahaviours and needs into consideration. All tools and features are transforming something we took hours, maybe days to do in manual and improvised ways, in useful and very well put together solutions. They have an amaizing and close support team, we are always in touch, sometimes we sanding feedbacks, sometimes them bringing news or several kinds of traning we might need. Marvin is now, for sure, my number one research tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?

There is not much I can say I dislike about Marvin. ofcourse there is room for a lot of improvements on the platform, but the ux research team that I work on are often incontact with Marvin team, and they recieve all our feedbacks and suggestions so well and in a open minded way. I really can't ryhing of anything to put in here haha Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic tool for analysis, synthesis and storage"
5/5
What do you like best about HeyMarvin?

We've been using Marvin for a few months now and it's really helped us think through how we analyse and store data to enable access for stakeholders. We were initially looking for a repository, but found that Marvin's analysis functions are incredibly useful for so many things.

The setting up of labels and tags for coding has helped us to think through what we're trying to learn before we start analysing, which has made the quality of our research that much better. This process has also helped us discuss our approaches to research as a team. Although it does take a bit more time in the earlier stages of analysis, it makes the write-up a lot quicker. It's really useful that you can edit the tags and labels on the go as well. The AI element has been a real time saver and although we rely mainly on human analysis, the AI is a useful validation tool.

From repository perspective, initial feedback from stakeholders is that it's been easy to locate research as we've uploaded historical data.

The support is first class and the team respond to queries incredibly quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?

We've had occasional non-responsiveness in the browser, but that may not be a function of the tool itself. Since reporting it to the team, it seems to have resolved. Getting a handle on how to use the tags and labels was a bit tricky at first, and when you have multiple researchers, it's important ton get clear on the difference between the two. After a bit of getting used to it, we're using it just fine now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very easy to getour recordings into Marvin, and then the transcripts are amazing. It has cut down my analysis time in half easily. We use it with every study we run.

Set up took no time at all, and if i everhad questions or suggestions for new featues or improvements Marvin was there to listen and improve things! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?

Thereis room to grow in terms of organizing my recordings and my findings, and as with every tool, there is room to add new features and improve existing ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"If it was possible to fall in love with a tool, it would be Marvin"
5/5
What do you like best about HeyMarvin?

What I like most, honestly, is the culture of Marvin's team. I'm a heavy user and always bring feedback. They receive this feedback in the best way possible, always requesting it and delivering it at a speed that leaves me astonished. The evolution of Marvin, in the almost 1 year that I've been using it, is sensational. I've used several repositories and, by far, HeyMarvin is the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?

There's nothing I dislike, but I think that features focused on the research scenario at the most strategic level (problem space) end up being less prioritized Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The current model of access (yearly seats) does not fit squarely cases where one is not doing studies tear round. A per-month model would be great, with an option to a read-only mode during times when one is not doing studies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
