## Marvel Reviews
  ### 1. Marvel Review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Integration with Sketch app and able to use straightforward templates

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

UI and UX should be more intuitive and useful,

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not my main tool for wireframing

  ### 2. Great tool for prototyping

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Domenico L. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Marvel makes it really easy to create a prototype for an app. It is really helpful to see your project "in action" even if it is only a prototype and there is no code behind but only graphics. Thanks to Marvelapp you can get feedbacks about your idea without putting a hand on the code and it can really save you a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

I don't know, the only thing maybe is the impossibility for people to comment a prototype if they are not registered to Marvel. They should allow comments if required by the prototyper because sometimes you just send the prototype to people that don't even know what marvelapp is and the registration process easily bother them.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Give it a try. It is really well done and if you use Sketch software too than use the plugin for it that is really powerful.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prorotyping is essentially what I do with Marvel. Without this tool it would be really difficult to realize a functional prototype for a mobile application. I also use the Sketch software and thanks to marvelapp plugin for Sketch it is really fast to pass from the design to the prototyping phase.

  ### 3. Awesome prototype platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan d. | Pix! - Founder and iOS Developer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Its ease of use and preview features are awesome. I use it's plugin for Sketch and upload my designs with one click, no matter if it's for mobile, web or any other platform, Marvel's got you covered. Plus, if you are a developer, each uploaded file will automatically give you the UI elements size, coordinates and color along with its CSS code. It also has a very intuitive and powerful app (although I've only used the iOS one).

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

For its free version you can only have one project, which probably won't be enough if you have many ideas in mind. Its user capacity is also pretty restrictive not only for its free tier but also for the cheapest one (only 1 user) but this increases to 3 for the "Team" plan.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Look for their plugins in case you want to use it along with other software.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvel has increased our productivity a lot since it speeds up all the designer - developer communication by merging everything in one platform. Every member team can access the designs, preview and comment them to keep iterating and improving the product, which can also be done from your phone using their app.

  ### 4. Marvel, a complete app for prototyping

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felipe A. | IT Architect Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

You can easily connect artboards to communicate paths between two or more screens.
There's a possibility to use triggers and actions to define the experience the designer will want to create in the prototype. There is also hover interaction with the prototype, making it easier to test. It's an app very easy to use and has a fast learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

There´s no support for game Prototyping( Adobe XD has), and the app is web based only. When the project is heavy, it takes a long time for it to load completely and the tool needs some time to "think", thus affecting the performance and work of the professional.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

I think that Marvel has a very User-Friendly interface, and offers a range of features that many of its competitors just don´t have. In my opinion, anyone who knows a little bit about design and prototyping can learn with ease.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think that Marvel app is very easy to use, and since the learning curve time is a concern for a competitive environment, with this app, it's definitely easier for a designer to start producing content when compared to other apps in the market.

  ### 5. Best Friend of Freelance Designers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

I started to use marvel app by recommendation and now I can't get enough of it even in free mode. It is very easy to upload your documents/designs and integrate it with sketch app.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Maybe free option should have at least give you chance to create more than one project. Would be better for trying it out and upgrading later.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

I definitely recommend this software to fellow freelance designer for ease of use and responsiveness. It is very easy to integrate your designs/prototypes with sketch app. Go for it!

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Showing my designs to clients are so easy. I can quickly access the menus, hover around and find my works with ease. I love the way it works with sketch app. You can quickly upload your designs/prototypes inside sketch and then see your projects up live in the website immideatly. This is so awesome and quick.

  ### 6. Still our most commonly used fast prototyping tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley M. | Ashley May, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Marvel made early leaps in their integration with Sketch – whilst InVision grew a wider feature set, some of it was prone to bugs and Marvel always seems stable and usable. The support and customer contact is great, and Marvel reach out to the industry regularly to show they listen to users.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Marvel hasn't really evolved in terms of its core features in a while now. Whilst other prototyping tools with a steeper learning curve allow for more complex interaction using code and data, Marvel could have stepped up to fill the void with a wider, more customisable feature set for non-coding designers. Instead that void is being filled by other tools and apps.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

For a great, robust rapid prototyping tool with a gentle learning curve, Marvel is invaluable. For those looking for greater interaction fidelity or incorporation of data, there are other tools available.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Marvel to create realistic, high-fidelity prototypes for validation of designs and customer research purposes. With Marvel you get a decent enough range of interaction patterns to mimic real-world digital builds. The comment feature means we can also use for collating feedback and iteration.

  ### 7. Good for prototyping

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avinash S. | Business Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

The best part of this application is I can upload design created in XD or Photoshop and upload them to marvel and link them to show a prototype model to client

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

The manner in which the linking is done can be improved , I like the linking methodology user in Mocking bot

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create wire-frame to show to client

  ### 8. A very good prototyping tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giulio M. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

It’s really fast and we integrated with sketch. We’ve tried other product but Marvel is way superior

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Actually I don’t have any downsides in Marvel. The only problem that I have is that is not more integrated with our working tools.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We share the designer’s work with our customer and engineering team via Marvel

  ### 9. Good for small project thanks to its free tier

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Mobile Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Marvel is cool thanks to the pretty UI and some cool features. On small projects is very fast to browse, comment, and ask other people for a review of the mockup. The navigation between the two screens is simple.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

The handoff feature needs more visibility: as a developer is the main thing I do so it is really hard to work on it

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication with designers, comment single mockups, quick look to the screens and, most of all, knowledge of every padding/design constraint for my app.

  ### 10. Dont miss any flows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishnu U. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

If the designs are in marvel you wont miss any flows.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

no mobile app for marvel it would be better if they have that also

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

if you want to grasp the flow perfectly use marvel

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whenever we start a project especially mobile apps we get all the screens in marvel. based on that we do the design. we can add all the flow in it. like the redirection, actions and you will feel that you're using real application.

  ### 11. Amazing prototyping tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elioth M. | Software developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

It's so easy to get started, just a few click and you have all the necessary tools to start prototyping your app/website

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

The free plan just give you one project, so If you have to work on more than one project you have to pay, but actually it's very cheap

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client proposals that need to be done very fast.

  ### 12. Great for diving in the prototyping world with absolutely zero knowledge

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

First of all, the speed in creating prototypes. Its basic plan is also free which means no let down for those who can't afford *more* monthly subscriptions and being free, it acts as a promoter against inVision.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

It doesn't have collaborative sketching like inVision. Commenting and sharing/inviting is great for brainstorming but Marvel needs to step up by having a similar feature to Liveshare.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Scrap InVision plans unless your employer is paying them for. Marvel did give me extra knowledge and a possible career path.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usability test proves to be great as any faux pas can be easily recovered and fixed. InVision nearly took my mobile to a mental breakdown.

  ### 13. Marvel

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduardo F. | UX & Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Marvel app it's great to prototype, easy to use and very UX friendly. but I have to admit that as a student, I can't afford marvel for more than a month. So I'll keep using the free version.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

the prices are a big issue, personally, I don't like the monthly subscriptions. Yes, I love it, but It's not affordable, maybe an annual subscription more affordable and equal with the service.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Definitely the best options to present fast prototyping.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prototyping new ideas, in easy steps. If you don't know how to code and need to show the most realistic way, definitely Marvel App is the option.

  ### 14. a design app that works

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela P. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

a clear site with no gimmicks but am not in the dept that uses this, i t has a very well publicised name that I don't know if it has a synergy with the movie industry

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

sometimes it has design or mascottes that look almost childish

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

am the person who approves purchases but not in the technical dept

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it integrates well with other programmes. am not in the technical department so only approve purchases made by the personnel

  ### 15. I love Marvel! My everyday work software.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bekzat S. | Owner, UX/UI Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

It is very easy to use the app. You can sign up and start using it immediately. It is pretty easy to export your design to Marvelapp and make a prototypes, share them and get feedback direct on screens.
In three years of active usage I never messaged their support because everything worked great as promised.
Very good pricing plans comparing to alternatives.
Interesting updates made with love. I love that Marvelapp team keep it updated and try to add more and more useful features to the product.
Unlimited projects! I love it.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

There are some problems with Sketch to Marvel export when you are using some third-part plugins. I.e., I experienced issues with Anima toolkit when all changes implemented by AnimaApp were not exported to Marvelapp as well. I am not sure if the problem is on Marvelapp side. Probably something is wrong with the AnimaApp plugin. It is a very common problem and there are a lot of people experienced it.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

If you work as a designer then you should try Marvel, Invision and Drafta just to compare which one fits best your needs. In a case if you need a fast and simple software to save your time, use Marvel.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Marvelapp every day. I am a Freelance designer and have to share my work with clients to get feedback etc. At the moment I have 44 projects on Marvelapp, hundreds of comments received from clients and thousands of hours saved.
Another time-wasting problem designers often face is design-to-code process, when they have to support development team with graphic assets export. Marvelapp's Handoff saves a lot of time for me.

  ### 16. Simple to use with some nice touches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve P. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

I love that I can create a website presentation without the hassle of showing files in PDFs. I can also show options for the designs too all a click through demos. Clients of mine love it!

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

I have to remember to give files different names, otherwise it overrides previous versions saved in different segments

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Great Product for easy to use prototyping and work within the design sector. Clients love to see the designs come to life through the clickable prototyping. I'm sure I am only using a fraction of what the produce can do.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visualising website designs in browser and clickable prototype presentations.

  ### 17. Fast and effective tool for early stage prototyping

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick W. | Non Executive Director, Construction, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

The speed of setting up and project and the ability to have unlimited viewers and collaborators on the feedback side is very powerful for our use case.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Some very minor UI issues when dealing with big projects can be annoying but these are often non-repeatable and are representative of any software that ends up dealing with lots of large image files.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Try it out with one project - time how fast it is vs other alternatives (you will be suprised how easy it is) and it's so cheap that if you are a start up you can easily afford to use it

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prototype validation and feedback with key product champions over 2 countries - speed to feedback and the scale of the feedback (easy to send to many people and get their feedback).

  ### 18. Simply does the trick

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivo R. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

If you are looking for a simple tool to create prototypes for desktop or mobile: this is it. Fair pricing, great interface, a sketch plugin and unlimited projects. It is easy to use (simple interface) and has a great support for sketch files. The handoff feature is a great help for developers (you can see things like margin/padding/font-sizes there)

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Not able to create groups (multiple prototypes for one client)
The sketch plugin is slow sometimes
When it comes to controlling specific elements on a page, Marvel only offers a few options.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

If you are looking for fancy transitions and lots of options to control elements on the page, Marvel isn't for you. It works best for simple clickmodels.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating prototypes to share with clients and gather feedback

  ### 19. Fast and simple to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giuseppe D. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

You can realize very quickly prototypes of a mobile app, including navigation between activities.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

You are limited in drawing particular shapes or objects. Obviously this tool is intended for generic prototypes.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets you have a starting UI for your app. Moreover you can test also the navigability and try to improve it.

  ### 20. My favourite quick prototyping tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Inigo G. | Senior UI Designer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

I really like Marvel, and I preferred it to Invision or Adobe XD, etc. Not just the whole interface and flow (screen previews, easy creation of hotspots, actions and transitions) but features too. Integration with sketch is perfect. Make me create decent prototypes in no time (with overlays, link to videos, etc)

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

I'm not sure I can find something negative about Marvel. Only thing maybe is that Invision Studio has a powerful tool to manage animation, and it elevates the prototype to another level. Would be awesome if Marvel incorporates at some point some more detailed animation control, with delays, curves, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Marvel is better :)

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Marvel to produce prototypes (responsive websites mainly) that I can then use to show flows and functionality to stakeholders, product owners and developers.

  ### 21. Marvel is 🔥

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach S. | Founder and Lead Product Designer/Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Marvel feels like a really solid, quality product. You can tell the team put in a lot of work to making it feel just right. It's a joy to use, really fast, and integrates seamlessly into Sketch without intrusion. Tying screens together and adding animations is quick and easy, and the mobile previewer app works great.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

It heightens the barrier to entry for user testing and feedback if users have to sign in to leave comments on a design. I wish, when sending out a public link, I could choose to allow comments from people without Marvel accounts. This would make it much easier for quick user testing/feedback. Something as simple as letting the user enter their name with their comment and maybe a random ID so that I can tell who is who.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to solve the problem of communication within the team by showcase how the user flow and experience should feel. I'm able to create prototypes that can be used by real people, outside the organization, and collect feedback to enhance the product in future iterations.

  ### 22. Good Prototyping Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

I like how easy it is to set up a prototype using the interface.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

I dislike how it’s a bit hard to create groups within the prototype. Also it would be great if there could be a parent prototype in which you could upload prototypes with multiple screen sizes to keep them all together.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting approval from stakeholders for design and user testing flows.

  ### 23. Good enough, cheaper than its decent competition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo V. | UX Researcher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

It works. Rarely gets in my way. The notification system is great and the company is constantly adding relevant new features.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

The mobile app could be greatly improved. The most important use case for me would be commenting on designs while I'm away from work (on the bus home, for example) and it's the one feature the app doesn't have.

I'd love to make forms more "real", too (fillable). But I can live with the way it works now.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Try the product! It works really well. Of course, sometimes it has to be supplemented by other products.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work at a global company. It's very easy to share designs with other people from other teams, and it's quite easy to comment and gather feedback.

  ### 24. Best tool in a huge ocean of prototypers ; )

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernardo O. | UX & Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

The more flexible, quick and huge third party integrations. Customer support is awesome too

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Storyboard connection at any point for links would be perfection

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Covers nearly everything you need

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick prototyping at any level of definition, quick user testing integration

  ### 25. A client essential.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brie B. | Graphic & UI Designer , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Being able to treat projects like a flat version of a website.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Not being able to anchor to a different page.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

- Adding an option to anchor to a section on a new page
- Adding and option to layer something as a PNG file

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the problem of some clients that are not familiar with how the web works. My team has benefited from this a lot because it makes it easier to explain to them visually as well as verbally.

  ### 26. Excellent for prototyping fast and easy.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

A lot of options for prototyping fast and easy. You can share the prototype with whoever you want.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

You only do one prototype at the same time.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has allowed me to express my idea of mobile application very easily.

  ### 27. Great app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

I like that you can use flows to export your project, diagram, and wireframing.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

I think that the free version is incomplete compared to other apps.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can show my work with flows and in real time, wireframing and exporting with the CSS theme is easier.

  ### 28. A good way to prototype an app

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

It allows you to make designs very similar to what could be the final result and has a wide variety of predefined elements.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

The lack of functionality beyond jumping from one page to another.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prototyping of an Android application for medication management. It is easy and quick to use.

  ### 29. So easy to use for design collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kahlil A. | Public Performance Manager & Junior Web Developer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

The Marvel tool is great - and so easy to use. I get to communicate with my dev team and see the designs before we build, and the amount of time and money that saves us is immeasurable.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Not much to dislike here. It's pretty straightforward.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just the benefit of being able to leverage visuals and collaborate in a clear manner in a way that allows us to match it with notes and suggestions.

  ### 30. Great site to display and collaborate on your designs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aileen B. | Independent consultant under contract, Automotive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

The rendering of my designs into different layouts, be it phone view, desktop or tablet. They looked beautiful, clear and the sizing paralleled reality perfectly.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

I am a tad not fond of editing my design in Marvel because of the lack of ease of editing it. I prefer to use Marvel to display and collaborate on my designs.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Great product for Web Design projects.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been required by Topcoder competitions to place my designs in Marvel for collaboration and for entry to the competitions. It is an easy to use tool that can keep a group of collaborators designs and thoroughput private from the public.

  ### 31. Overall great product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francesca N. | UX/UI Designer, E-Learning, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Marvel is easy to use and straightforward, just a great way to prototype anything really fast. The whole experience around it is crafted in such a delightful, consistent and consumer friendly way, that it makes Marvel one of my fave products to work with.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Some issues around the way you link an image to a hotspot (the horizontal bar to select the images is sometimes a bit tricky with a trackpad) and customizing transitions would be nice (time, curve etc)

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly testing out designs instead of jumping to implementation, and showing ideas and concepts to stakeholders

  ### 32. Marvel makes me happy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maxine F. | Designer d'interfaces, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

MarvelApp is really easy to use. Creating a prototype is very simple and fast. It's even easier with the Sketch plugin. I like the fact that when you draw a hotspot and select the destination screen, the transitions list appears and you can preview the animation. It's not much, but very appreciated, especially when you're prototyping an 50 screens app!
We also like the community and the support. People at Marvel have always been reactive.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

I think it would be great to be able to separate spaces, like in Zeplin for example, we can put a title for a selection of screens. It is very convenient for big projects. Sometimes the grid can be very long and it's not always easy to find the screen you're looking for. This way, I could have the same groups in Sketch, Marvel and Zeplin (if not already using Handoff)
And also, before, we had the possibility to change the device's color. It was very useful for presentations for example. It would be great to have another device : tablets with 16/9 screens. Actually, we use the "Website/TV" resolution and when we watch the prototype on that kind of tablet, we can not turn the device into landscape mode, so the tests are not really good.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Don't hesitate!

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clients can imagine themselves or their users using the app. It's very important for them to download the prototype on their phone, if the project is an app for example. They can navigate between screens and they communicate more easily with us!

  ### 33. Easy to Use

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teresa S. | Administrative Support Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

The thing I like best is that this software can be used online and also has an app to use on the go. This makes it easy to make any changes you need to make wherever you are. This is a very easy straightforward simple app to use to get started and familiar with prototyping.

I also love that you can keep your files organized in Dropbox and whenever you make changes to those files they will automatically sync and update in marvel which saves a lot of time deleting files, adding files, and re doing all of your hotspots.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Sometimes I want more animations on how a real site or mobile app would work with different objects scrolling in at different times or parallaxing objects.

You only get a maximum of two opened projects to work on with the free plan. I’m not quite sure if I am willing to move forward with this software in paying $16 for a premium plan.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

This is a staple product to have say if you are a student as was I when I first using Marvel to prototype mobile apps for my school projects.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This basically helps to see if your initial designs will work and what changes need to be made moving forward with the design and layout process.

  ### 34. Best tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Thanks to Marvelapp we are able to show the design to all our clients and we can easy review the design working in team.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Sometimes it reduce to much the quality of the images

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration and showing designs to the clients.

  ### 35. Marvel rules

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Clean interface, easy to use, and seem to be adding and improving upon features with time

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

There doesn't seem to be a quick and easy way to navigate back to the main prototype view once you've clicked into a screen. It would be helpful if there were some kind of logo or a button option at the bottom of the screen to go back to home.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides an easy way to present prototypes and mockups to other team members. The commenting feature is also helpful for collaboration.

  ### 36. #MarvelAppLover

**Reviewed by:** Anais O. | UX / UI Designer, Education Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

I love marvel, he has been with me since I started in the user experience, the platform is super intuitive and easy, I can interact with my colleagues in real time, I can edit my designs and fix details quickly. Now with the new API they have, I loved them more! they have integrated a bot, they allied with Smartmockups where I am also a fan and many other things, with Marvel I can have prototypes of the highest fidelity in a super easy and fun way and if I do not understand or have difficulties in something, there is the team of Support to support me always.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Thats my membership expired hehe, being serious
maybe a better quality of my photos when I upload them to the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

I have tried several tools for prototyping and I recommend Marvel for being easy, intuitive, friendly and reliable.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvel is one of my main work tools, they accompany me at the end of my designs, when I need to prototype and have presentations with them, also in my communication with stakeholders and front-end developers with whom I am in constant communication.

  ### 37. Marvel App Design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandy C. | Visual Designer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

It is very easy to use and I can click and drag the images around. It makes it easy to add a hotspot and redirect it to another prototype. I also like the easy transport from Sketch to Marvel.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

I had trouble syncing newer files to Sketch because it wouldn't update the new files. When you have lots of images on there, it can get a bit confusing.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Invision

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making quick and easy to use prototypes for clients to play around with and show them our latest prototype

  ### 38. Love Marvel

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olivia L. | Junior Researcher and Account Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

I like the ease of use and ability to quickly get done a realistic prototype that may be efficiently presented.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

I dislike how it is not easy to translate or export the final product to multiple platforms if a non-live demonstration needs to be shown.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

I would recommend Marvel to newer companies or students looking to create a simple prototype with a new idea.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was able to explain a concept for an app that I was proposing in a timely and functional way. I realized that Marvel has a lot of the right tools to implement a prototype in a simple way.

  ### 39. Great tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valeska M. | UX/UI Design Team Leader, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

I love how it is super easy to learn. I had an emergency: I had just a few hours to present a functional prototype to show the users and stakeholders. I decided to test Marvel, and I was able to finished my first prototype super fast and it saved me a lot of time!
I also like how I can use it on my mobile as well.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

It could have some more interaction presets, like drag and drop. I use Marvel more for mobile interaction, but I needed to try a new function in a web app and was not able to perform it.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

You should try it because it's super easy and the interface is friendly.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to prototype ideas fast to test with users and/or test new ideas to improve other products (mine and others, just to study) and Marvel is solving it very well.
In a few hours, I have a functional prototype ready to go.

  ### 40. Does what it says on the the tin

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hytham A. | Mr, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Really easy to use and very impressive output. Would recommend it to anyone looking to visualise and build a prototype/app/website.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Nothing really - the product does exactly what it says it does.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visualising a prototype app and the user journey involved.

  ### 41. Perfect tool for what I need.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Simple, effective, to the point. Great tool.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

dropbox sync didn't work well a few times, needed a little time to update.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can get a "working" prototype to a client as soon as I'm done with the design.

  ### 42. Great tool for prototyping

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

How easy and fast it is to build and share prototypes, better than InVision. I try it both and I prefer Marvel. It's more simple, efficient and there're no tools or features I don't need. I really like the navigation and all the UI details in the app. The way you can duplicate links on different screens is better than the templates in Invision. A great tool!

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Would like to have an better navigation for the comments. It's quite difficult to switch between the differents comments on one of my project. But nothing alarming.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usability feedback sessions for application prototyping.

  ### 43. Smooth flow and very intuitive usage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hanna S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

I was looking for an easy accessible tool and found it :) The drag and drop functionality for artboards is very cool and I like as well the zoom feature on the project dashboard to generate a perfect overview about the uploaded artboards.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Maybe I missed it, but i don't know how to leave a project made by another person.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for a tool, which helps me to present prototypes and user flows without access and commenting restrictions and has a low learning curve for the usage when I share the designs with other people.
I really like the feature to send the prototype via SMS to the stakeholders.

  ### 44. One of the best prototyping tool out there!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Curtis A. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

I love a lot of the new udpates. I discovered Marvel around when they launched and it was pretty good then, very similar to Invision, but with a lot of the new updates (wireframe, designing, etch), it's so much better.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

The UI still needs a little work, like in the design area, where you have to click the X to close any flyout menus, instead of being able to click off of them on the artboard. But that's a little nitpicky.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rapid wireframing and awesome prototyping is really helping us get client approval and getting it into the hands of the developers faster. We're also using it to win more business by being able to provide more upfront wireframes so the client can see more of our vision.

  ### 45. The best prototyping tool on the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damien L. | Designer UX/UI, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

What I appreciated the most is the ease of use and the wide range of tools and settings offered. I had switched to InVision for a year and a half, but it seemed obvious to return to Marvel App as I (subjectively) prefer using this tool.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

The design module is still far from products like Sketch, which specialize in this area, but it's a good start and should be useful to some.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UX tests are less biased thanks to the ability to not display click areas.

  ### 46. Switching from InVision

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

So intuitive. It is quite robust while still feeling light and playful. I was able to dive in and feel like a pro within minutes. With a bit of practice, the Layers tool can be quite useful for demonstrating motion and micro-interactions, something that is quite hacky or difficult in other applications. The ability to easily sync with Sketch and update artboards on the fly was great as well. Handoff seems to be superior to InVision's Inspect as well.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

I would love to be able to prototype multiple devices within the same project, although I believe "Sections" may be handling this in the near future.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are looking for a comprehensive tool that can be used by our design team, product owners, and development team. Marvel succeeds in appealing to all three groups. The design team found it faster and more intuitive than InVision, the embedded design tool allows Product owners to quickly mock up wireframes if need be, and our developers love Handoff.

  ### 47. Fast, easy and better prototype tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael C. | UI/UX Designer, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Marvel it's powerful and simple to work. I can expor all my artboards just with one click and make user flow navigation on website without problems. If I need update a screen, abracadabra and voilà, its done! I love have the prototype in man hands with the app from Marvel. I can show for everyone my app on Marvel and most of them think that is the fact an application, not only a prototype. It's really nice get this feedback. It's pretty cool to embed my prototype on my website.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

It will be perfect if I could record navigation on Marvel App and make all the flow process making hiperlinks directly on Sketch App. This way, we can go faster than ever prototyping all the apps and make flows on Sketch App ambience.

**Recommendations to others considering Marvel:**

Go with Marvel and your prototypes will flying! Fast, easy and better prototyping tool!

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast prototyping and show all flow navigation for my sponsor the final results of application before start the development. I don't know how many times Marvel help me to make good presentations, just opening my project on Marvel website.

  ### 48. My Go-To Prototyping Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle D. | Product Designer, Accounting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2018

**What do you like best about Marvel?**

Marvel has done a fantastic job simplifying how UI/UX designers rapidly prototype and test concepts with customers. Also, Marvel has helped increase internal collaboration around mockups and ensure that feedback was stored in one place.

**What do you dislike about Marvel?**

Interactions between screens are relatively simple like clicks, hovers, etc. compared to tools like Principle.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rapidly prototyping mockups, design feedback, and usability testing.

  ### 49. Gets the job done

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

There are limitations, not as many functions as Invsion.

**What problems is Marvel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How users interact with a product
