## About Marqo
Marqo is an AI-native ecommerce search and product discovery platform built for enterprise fashion, beauty, home goods, and electronics retailers. The platform analyzes clickstream, purchase, and event data to understand shopper intent and deliver high-relevance search and discovery experiences that improve conversion and revenue. Unlike generic search platforms, Marqo trains a catalog-aware LLM on each retailer’s product catalog so results reflect the retailer’s products, language, and customer intent. This reduces manual merchandising work while improving relevance at scale. Customers including Fashion Nova, Redbubble, and KICKS CREW use Marqo to power AI product search, automated merchandising, image search, and personalized recommendations. Marqo supports one-click integrations for Shopify, Adobe Commerce, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

**What do you like best about Marqo?**

The thing i appreciated most about Marqo Cloud is how it lets our team bypass the heavy infrastructure overhead typical of advanced search setups.
Thanks to managed, cloud-native nature, we were able to deploy vector and image based search capabilities very quickly.
The free demo credits allowed us to build a small prototype internally and the pricing model appears reasonable even for growing enterprise.

**What do you dislike about Marqo?**

While marqo cloud has a lot of potential, i feel their customer support is still developing. Responses are sometimes slow, and it would be great to have more structured support channel.
One thing to keep in mind is that since it's fully managed service, moving larger datasets or migrating away later could be tricky - there's a bit of vendor lock-in to consider.

**What problems is Marqo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem we faced was that our "search" experience for users was weak - simple keyword matching, no ability to understand image queries, low relevance and high abandonment when users did not find items quickly.
