"MarkUp Makes Client Feedback So Easy with Easy Click-to-Comment Reviews"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MarkUp?

MarkUp is the easiest way for our clients to leave feedback on their website, landing page, design or documents. The ability for users to simply click on the item for review means it is super easy for them to leave a comment and even navigate the website within the UI.

The performance of the backend has been greatly improved recently, allowing us to add many folders and items to review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkUp?

Since MarkUp fixed the performance issue we have not had any major problems with the system. Some extra integrations with the other systms we use would be helpful and the pricing is a little higher than we would like but the inclusions for the price are quite generous. "Easy, Centralized Website Feedback with Handy Project Folders"
4/5
What do you like best about MarkUp?

Easy to leave feedback on websites, even for non-technical people. Being able to organize projects into folders. No longer relying on Word Documents or emails for feedback, it's all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkUp?

It doesn't always work. Sometimes people will just see the spinning logo when trying to access a MarkUp. Sometimes clearing the cache works, sometimes it doesn't. I don't like having empty folder thumbnails, and would prefer being able to upload our own image for folder icons. Some people never get email notifications, and it's confusing to know why or how to fix. The price jump was pretty unexpected. Not being able to hide certain comments from guests/non-members. "Streamlined Client Collaboration with Minor Glitches"
4/5
What do you like best about MarkUp?

I use MarkUp because it eliminates a lot of the back and forth with clients, making things faster and easier for both us and our clients. I like that it saves time and reduces the need for phone calls with clients. Another feature I appreciate is that it works with video, allowing users to add comments to the video, which is pretty nice instead of trying to explain verbally. I'm overall pretty happy with it. The setup was super easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkUp?

There's a lot of glitches in the software. We get a lot of times animations won't work or videos or map embeds from Google, stuff like that, which clients think are actually errors on the site or issues, but it's because MarkUp won't read them. It also doesn't work with cloud links. These glitches impact our workflow because they don't make things seamless for our clients. We have to do some explaining about, you know, showing them the direct link to stuff because they're not working on the MarkUp link. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time-Saver for Design Feedback and User-Friendly for Clients of All Ages"
4/5
What do you like best about MarkUp?

Previously, I used to send designs as email attachments, which meant all feedback came back in the email thread in a fairly inefficient way. Each time, I then had to hunt for the right spot in the design to understand what someone was referring to, which was especially time-consuming when I was working on a manual.

With this way of working, I save a lot of time. It’s also very user-friendly for my clients, including those in an older target audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkUp?

The search function within the archive does not always work properly. In addition, clients sometimes mention that larger designs, not in terms of file size but in terms of dimensions, tend to freeze. As a result, I still have to send the design by email.

I also miss the option to upload a second version while keeping the existing feedback points. This would make it easier to compare both versions and check whether all feedback has been implemented correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Client Feedback and Multi-Project Organization"
4/5
What do you like best about MarkUp?

Easy to use for clients to give feedback, like the folders for different sites, like that I can use for multiple projects at a time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkUp?

It's pretty pricey - wish there was an option to pay yearly at a discount. Wish there was a way to take screenshots even when there is a password on the site - can make comments but the screenshot doesn't work. Some clients also have issues making comments and not being able to find them again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Markup with Fast Uploads, Smooth Integrations, and Responsive Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MarkUp?

Markup is so intuitive for clients to use, the image upload facility is a real plus. The load and upload speed is good, even for large files. The software integrates really well with our project management software and all for a very reasonably priced monthly subscription. Any time we have needed help, Markup have been quick to support us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkUp?

There is really not much to dislike about Markup. One thing we often miss is responsive comments. The icons are small and easy to miss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Comment Export and Brand-Aligned Markups"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MarkUp?

I like that you can export comments and update your instance according to your brand guidelines. I like that you can pause comments and update a Markup with different statuses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkUp?

I dislike that there are some technical updates that need to be done if its not working for a customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Client Markup Sharing, but Overpriced"
2.5/5
What do you like best about MarkUp?

I really like how easy it is to create a markup link and share it with clients for review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkUp?

The cost. As a small business owner (Graphic Designer), $80/month is close to how much I have to spend on 4+ professional Adobe products. It feels imbalanced for the value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time Visual Feedback Made Easy Across Website URLs"
5/5
What do you like best about MarkUp?

It wraps around our website URLs and project visuals for our clients and internal team to all respond and capture feedback in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkUp?

It feels expensive for a commenting tool, especially since most commenting features are already built into other design tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very User-Friendly and Easy for Customers"
5/5
What do you like best about MarkUp?

It’s very user-friendly and easy for my customers to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarkUp?

My main issue is when it goes down or throws an error right when we need access. That doesn’t happen often, though, so I can’t say I have many dislikes overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
