"Great tool for survey management & reporting!"
4/5
What do you like best about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

Marketpay has been a lifesaver in our compensation survey management space. It is so easy to review our jobs data in one place versus using several spreadsheets. It is relatively easy to use and maintain. Implementing the tool was very simple and updating year over year is done with ease. It also integrates with our HRIS for our employee and job data to flow in weekly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

The reporting module is complex with many options to choose from for base reports. You really need to understand what the reports consist of before using them to ensure you understand the visualizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Prefer the old way to market price a job, so I don't use the market price a job new."

"Big fan, and still learning..."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

I have used MarketPay for the last 7 years across 2 employers, and it has been immeasurably valuable at both. MP aided in major projects like laying the foundation for job architecture and pay transparency efforts. MP as a pricing database makes many annual processes much more efficient, such as assessing market movement for a job or job family year-over-year, determining new salary ranges for the year, and salary survey participation. The support team is also great to work with in completing the "data migrations" from previous years' data to the most up-to-date data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

Like any tool, MarketPay does take some time to get used to, but the amount of information available can be overwhelming. Some of the HRIS data load templates are overly complex (when they only have a few "required" fields), and some of the standard reports feel redundant (and over-engineered in some cases). "Payscale's MarketPay Tool"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

Great analytical tool, solid reporting capabilities. Ability to integrate and sort as needed different sources is valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

Not all sources can be integrated automatically, some require more manual work.

Often wish for more customer support - current structure with Customer Support Manager is not efficient for problem resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One Place to Store All Your Survey Data"
4/5
What do you like best about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

I like that it is one place to store all of your survey data, and that it's easy to have the information uploaded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

Lately, I've been having a lot of technical errors with the system not working. Aside from that, I sometimes feel it is limiting. For example, I would like to be able to add in advertised rates, competitor rates, etc., to keep all of this information together, along with our survey data. "Great for large orgs with multiple surveys"
4/5
What do you like best about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

Great survey management tool with lots of reporting options and the ability to modify/create ad hoc reports. They have partnerships with all major survey providers, as well as the ability to upload unique surveys. Lots of webinars & online trainings, as well as responsive account managers & customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

While they are updating their platform, some of the graphics seem dated. There are "new" sections that are refresed, but they have not retired the old sections, so some users keep gravitating to the old version Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
