"From manual to ultimate efficiency"
5/5
What do you like best about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

As an analyst who spent many years conducting surveys manually using only Excel, I find that being able to connect jobs, survey participation templates, and manage the annual migration feels like having an extra full-time team member. The capability to leverage existing reports and create custom ones with employee, job, and survey data allows me to deliver professional executive materials and handle urgent requests efficiently, even when time is limited. What do you dislike about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

The only regret I have with Marketpay is not having started to use it earlier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

It is difficult to navigate between different screens, it sometimes opens up a new tab or will not go back to the same screen when you hit back. It is easier to use the legacy tab then the updated one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"MarketPay makes the user experience easy."
5/5
What do you like best about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

Market pay is easy to use. It's great for keeping all your data in one place. Employee data, salaries as well as current market data. The updates they are making are making it even easier to price jobs and I can't wait to try the AI features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

The only thing I dislike about Market Pay is how fast it times out. I have mine on the longest setting and it still seems to time out fast. Then I have to sign back in and pull up my reports or pricings again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

Good for in-depth compensation analysis and modeling of salary structures, merit, and job architecture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

Tool may not be good for someone new to compensation. PayFactors is a little more entry-user friendly and Marketpay is better for those with experience and a need for deeper analysis and modeling. I found the benchmarking process in Payfactors to be smoother than in Marketpay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payscale Ascent (formerly Marketpay)?

While the system is overall well-designed, learning to navigate through the system can be a bit confusing. Some of the advanced features do take some time to fully get the rhythm of things. I wish there were more tutorials or training guides to better familiarize myself with the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
