1. The user interface needs improvement. I'm not saying it's terrible, but it's not the most user-friendly software I've used.

The Optimize section of MarketMuse is a game-changer. I can run a query and get feedback for my content creation. This feedback includes a target word count, along with topic mentions needed to rank for that particular query. The content editor itself can sometimes have a bit of lag (not usually noticeable, except that it sometimes leads to misspellings or a word that I end up mistyping as I'm waiting for the editor to catch up).
