What do you like best about Marchex?

The UI was extremely user friendly. It was easy to purchase new phone numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Marchex?

The reporting was manual. It would be helpful to provide a tutorial on how to set up the numbers on the front end to make the reporting more streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Marchex solving and how is that benefiting you?

Marchex phone numbers allowed us to implement unique phone numbers for our call center. This enabled us to granularly track digital creatives. Each creative could have a separate call center number, and this allowed us to attribute performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Marchex?

Marchex has a very intuitive platform that i's easy to customize to my preferences. I've never had an issue that I couldn't easily figure out or that a customer service couldn't help me out with.

What do you dislike about Marchex?

Sometimes the call DNA doesn't work for a call or two, and we have been unable to recover the call data. This issue has usually been fixed pretty quickly, but it has happened a few times and we were unable to process the call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Marchex?

We like the ability to quantify call volume, call length, and quality of calls. We are able to use call recording to verify the validity of the calls, if needed. Our customers can use API with Marchex, if they are needing integrated information for reporting. We are able to customize fields for our own reporting and billing purposes. What do you dislike about Marchex?

Earlier on, there were struggles with discrepancies as far as our month-end reports. The customer service there, although very professional, would sometimes be lacking in knowledge; however, they would let me know they would contact the technical team and find a resolution for us. What problems is Marchex solving and how is that benefiting you?

I would like to see the failed calls and Lead call success rate linked up with the Dealer's CRM or Drive Growth by Sales Consultant. Then put it on a spreadsheet by dealer, district and zone Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Marchex?

How you can set hand pick mulitple numbers on a website to swap with a webpool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Marchex?

Pretty much everything. The call grading is terrible, the system is unreliable and experiences outtages regularly. We lost clients BECAUSE of Marchex. Sending duplicate events into Analytics and bulk uploading hundereds of events after an outtage. The support team doesn't know how to fix anything. Our onboarding was doen COMPLETELY wrong and it took a YEAR to correct and rebuild. The system still does not work as promised and we are leaving. The keyword attribution never worked and the reporting is basic. The system is not user friendly. I like the customization that you can get with web pool set ups, but this program is for experts, not intermediate or beginer call trackng users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We had to solve their problems for them. They didn't even realize how their data was duplicating and dumping into Analytics WE had to tell them, identify it and figure it out for them. WE also had to figure out the problems with how THEY set up our account from the begining. The only problems we're "solving" are the ones created by this terrible program. What do you like best about Marchex?

The ease of working with their call tracking system. I have used others and they were difficult to track calls, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Marchex?

To be honest, I truly cannot think of anything, That is why I chose Marchex over the others I had used previously Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Marchex solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are in the consumer direct mail magazines and we were able to track our clients response from their ads to see how they were doing. Was truly beneficial especially if the client said they were'nt getting any calls! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
