One of the main things is that with Mar-Kov we can quickly prepare and smoothly go through any 3rd party audits. We're able to better manage our cash flow, before Mar-Kov, we often over-bought or under-bought, now we buy exactly what we know we'll need. Also, Mar-Kov matches what's on order with what's in the warehouse as well as production schedules, without such a system in place, we couldn't trust our data and knew there were discrepencies. As with any software, there might be some minor things that need to be improved, but there's nothing in particular I dislike about it. It's a thoroughly designed system. In order to scale, we needed a fully integrated MRP, MES and ERP platform to get systematic tracking and transparency. Before Mar-Kov, inputting, locating and managing the data required to run Avaria was a challenge. With Mar-Kov's interconnected information, Avaria employees have the data as well as the time and energy needed to add value and help customers. We were looking for a solution that would help us to save on costs, thanks to Mar-Kov, we're in a better position because we recovered money we might otherwise have lost. Since implementing Mar-Kov, Avaria has slashed material costs by 30 to 70% and freed up cash with just-in-time inventory and more strategic procurement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I have been involved in the implementation of 3 computer systems for inventory management at various companies. Of the three, the integration with Mar-Kov was the best. To be fair, I had learned things through the first two that helped, but Mar-Kov's process of working through all of the data that needs to be imported, training the employees how to use the system, and launching helped make it as smooth as possible. We are a relatively small company with a modest technology budget and we found nothing else that had the features we needed in order to accurately batch our products in a way that would be compliant with FDA and cGMP standards. This may be a small thing, but doesn't it make sense that a batching software would have the capability to handle different densities of liquids? In our search, none of the other systems we tested could do this. If we have a liquid that is sold in one unit of measurement (UOM), we use internally in another UOM, and a customer wants to purchase in a third UOM - it is handled seamlessly within the system, even if those UOMs cross from weight to volume and back. After implementation there will inevitably be needs to get more information. We have been very pleased with the level of customer support we have received. Messages are returned quickly, the CS team is friendly and knowledgeable, and we are able to resolve issues in a timely manner. No system is perfect, and ease of use tends to be a complaint that I hear about a lot of systems. From the standpoint of being able to keep track of every container of inventory (by lot - that is internal, supplier and manufacturer lots, if needed), I don't know how you could make it much simpler to use. But they are willing to hear suggestions. Overall, I am very happy with our relationship with Mar-Kov Computer Systems. They feel like they are an extension of our team and are rooting for our business's success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Mar-Kov Computer Systems? Like I said above, no system is perfect. There are minor inconveniences and things I would change, but nothing that is a hinderance to our ability to conduct business. Since we are tracking our inventory by container from all points of the business (receiving, storage, QA, production, shipping), each of those processes need to have the hardware necessary to complete the work in the system (tablets, scanners, printers, etc.) and that can be an investment. We found Mar-Kov to be a valuable addition to our operations. This software has brought significant improvements to our recipe management processes and has greatly benefited our company. Because of the touchpoints the system address in the manufacturing process the implementation of the software requires significant investment. Team members own tasks within their own roles (operator, qa, supervisor)- ownership and execution of these task provides a significant amount of comprehensive information from which I can make executive decsions for overall management of the business. Ability to conduct a Mock Recalls and be able to achive the goal of accountability in % and time. All necessary factors are accounted for, all elements of recipe are set up for and the procedural part that separates ingredients from procedure. Also. it is ability to print a recipe template and share with the customer/product brand owner who verifies the pecope prior approval to be able to eliminate any errors what could be associated with unnecessary financial and time loss. Not really a problem but I am seeing multiple beneficial improvements in the system that is affecting overall and maximizing the accuracy of the traceabikity. It is affecting me and the copany overall as I am the main person to conduct annual Mock Recalls to ensure when there is a real one, no consumers will be affected, their heath or their life, in the even of a critical non-conformance.
