What do you like best about Maple?

I was able to manipulate an algebraic expression of a system of differential equations. I discovered in Maple, the ability to use symbols as the tools of computation seemed to be remarkable. I found it quite difficult when dealing with large datasets. It was not efficient enough to import and manipulate them and definitely was not near to the level that its users expected from such a promising software. What do you like best about Maple?

I have been using MATLAB and MATHEMATICA for my math needs for about 4-5 years, and have started using MAPLE recently (about 6 months). The syntax is very similar to MATLAB which facilitates ease of use. There are times when I am not able to solve certain complex math problems in either MATLAB or MATHEMATICA, but am able to do so in MAPLE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Maple solves the problems of long, handwritten calculations and mapping. 1) Someone has to spend a lot of time doing it 2) Calculations can pushback a project 3) Human error is always a possibility.
