I use Mapinfo pro for Flood modelling purpose. In Mapinfo it is easy to split lines and polygons and edit them. Also it shows points, lines and polygon in same layer which is easy for working with. Also labelling is very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about MapInfo Pro? Once we edit a layer in mapinfo we have to save and export it as tab again. The interface is easy to navigate around and Pitney Bowes provide a wealth of free online resources to help you self learn.
