What do you dislike about MapInfo Pro? the module for georeferencing is uncomfortable to use, it is necessary to change and improve this module in future versions. it is necessary to improve the layout module, that is, to incorporate graphic tools that improve the aesthetics of the final map before printing. I'm not able to write as tab file in R/Python environment by using GDAL. It is not user friendly compared to QGIS. Tab files when opened in QGIS, CRS is not seen.
