What do you like best about Mapbox?

The Mapbox team is top-notch. They are always ready to answer questions, provide support, and even take requests for bugfixes and new features. During our trial period, they even volunteered to create a custom map style just for our company, which looks stunning. Mapbox.js and Mapbox-gl-js are easy to learn and use, with large communities around them and a long list of examples. Finally, the Mapbox service itself is very affordable when compared with Google Maps, especially now that Google hiked up their prices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mapbox?

The only thing I dislike about Mapbox is the fact that WebGL support is still spotty on some browsers, meaning you have to engineer a fallback to Mapbox.js (the old library) if you want to have robust browser support. Since Mapbox.js and Mapbox-gl-js have totally different APIs, this means you will be writing your map code twice. Also, the geocoding accuracy isn't all the way up to Google's level yet, but for most data this won't be a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
