Manufacturo is a great solution for scaling up a production line. While maintaining a strong foundation, there are some standout features that set it apart from the competition:
-The aBOM generation automatically generated a tree-like view where I could drill down and find the history of every part without being burdensome by the end user. Engineers troubleshooting production issues would have tons of data available, while technicians benefited from a lightweight interface. Very powerful when combined with the Non-Conformance and Inventory modules, as it allows deep dives into issues quickly without having to scrounge through hundreds of seemingly unrelated PDFs.
-Optional data validation on technician fillable fields allowed for automatic calculation of derived data and can create pass/fail criteria that takes into account data from throughout a workorder.
-Good customer support, there were a few times when I had direct conversations with the Manufacturo team to either deal with bugs, submit feature requests (some of which I managed to see implemented), and learn how to use the product.
-Strong performance. I didn't see many slowdowns, even while handling some very large documents with a lot of data and file attachments.
-Generally good UI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Manufacturo is still a new platform. Sometimes things will change, and sometimes the experience may not be fully polished. While the team was responsive, I did occasionally run into some bugs that required power users (or support from Manufacturo).
The new user onboarding is adequate, but when I first started it was a little challenging getting to know the quirks of the system. The platform would benefit from more feature examples and making the documentation a little easier to find (as new users often wouldn't be able to find the documentation until I showed them where it was).
That being said, as a new and rapidly developing platform, by the time this is being read, this may have changed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback on Manufacturo. We're glad to hear that you find the aBOM generation, data validation, customer support, performance, and UI to be strong points. We understand your concerns about occasional bugs and the new user onboarding process, and we are continuously working to improve the platform and user experience. Your input is valuable in helping us enhance Manufacturo for all users.
