Robotalp saved two of my most valuable domain names. 100% worth the price of admission for that alone. It also keeps tabs on page speed,SSL certs, and keeps my sites out of google "safe browsing" purgatory. What do you dislike about Robotalp? It has a funny surname. What is alp? Seriously, I like everything about RobotAlp. The only thing that could be improved is response time. Robotalp does that in spades. Support is nice and very helpful. I guess if there's something to improve, the response time is not the fastest, but there is a ticketing system and they are fairly responsive, kind and helpful. I don't have experience with a lot of various tools. For the past couple years I've been relying on Robotalp to notify me if ever my client sites have gone down. And it gets the job done. While the sites don't go down often, I always know if they do before my clients do and am able to get to work fixing the issue before they even report it. And that is incredible peace of mind. Obviously, they where mostly already in a bad mood when calling us. Now we call the clients, tell them that there is a problem, we already spotted it and work on the solution. The technical support is quite good (mainly thanks to Berika) and I've had to ask a fair number of questions and resolve a few issues over that time. Robotalp would benefit greatly from better documentation; many aspects aren't fully explained, nor are there any standard recommendations for configuration settings. One of the primary reasons I purchased this product was to be able to generate uptime reports for a few dozen clients for whom I provide hosting services. Robotalp helps me to monitor both the uptime and the speed of all of those websites, allowing me to regularly print off a report for my clients to show them the superior uptime and speed of their website. The addition of detecting screen changes will help immensely because occasionally a website is still up, but not functioning properly and this should inform me of that situation. I've been using Robotalp for over a year now and I must say it is one of the top-tier website monitors I have tried. Robotalp not only allows for multiple locations at once, (others only allow you to select one) it notifies you which location is down in their notifications. A BIG PLUS for our infrastructure team. Saving our team precious moments to isolate the issue and get it fixed. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Robotalp's monitoring tools. I would highly recommend Robotalp. Also, their documentation could be improved. I mean it's good, but sending a user out to MDN docs really just provides definitions or semantics of what can be achieved instead of providing examples of how they would be implemented in Robotalp.
