The Pacman, can be unwieldy and difficult to use.

The installation and updating of software can take a bit of time and effort if they don't install the first time correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes some of its patches mismatch with the old updates which is little bit irritating. Some software creates difficulty to install it as coding for installation is too long. Some softwares are also not compatible with it. Otherwise all problems are ignorable against it awesome performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User Friendly Arch Based Linux Distro"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Manjaro?

I am using Manjaro for several reasons. It's an ARCH-based Linux distro. It's lightweight and consumes fewer resources. Easy to install and set up. It runs Steam smoothly with great performance. With user-friendly UI even a windows user can easily use Manjaro. I personally use Manjaro KDE. More secured than Windows & macOS. Awesome hardware driver support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Manjaro?

Whenever ever I try to put Manjaro in sleep mode it crashed. Few softwares are not compatible with Arch and Manjaro Distro but they are compatible with Ubuntu/Debian. Wifi and Bluetooth Drivers are not that much compatible, both disconnect frequently. When I try to do some complex customization it crashed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Philosophy of Arch Linux with the aesthetics of Mac OS (more advance, fast & pretty)"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Manjaro?

My main motive was to try an Arch-based distro. almost everyone is on ubuntu and I love doing things a bit differently. once I started using it, I just love how fast and stable it is. almost 0 crashes to date despite the fact that it is running upon the Arch system. another unexpected thing that I love about Manjaro is the apple-looking terminal.

it has a nice built-in feature of a floating terminal that hovers over all windows. it is greatly useful when I'll have to perform something from stack overflow. just read commands from the screen and directly apply them to the terminal above. no need to shuffle between windows

Manjaro has Pacman as a software & package repository. it acts as a play store on android. it is well maintained and greatly eases the burden of finding the right software rather than searching all over the internet Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Manjaro?

that black screen text whenever we start or reboot the system. just kills the aesthetics, it would be great not to stumble upon any text or black screen before the desktop is displayed. Another thing is keyboard shortcut issues, my meta key is not working, but I think I probably have done something but it's not working anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
