**What do you like best about Eptura Asset?**

I like best that Eptura Asset has a mobile companion app for the technicians to work with.  The ease of use is about midrange.  I wasn't here when the program was implemented, so I'm unsure of the ease of implementation.  I use the program almost all day, and every day, as it is the backbone of my job.  The ability to attach pictures to work orders is extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Eptura Asset?**

I dislike that the mobile app does not have Asset BOM information and Inventory look up ability with bin locations.  Customer support has been hit and miss.  They have a few customer support representatives that are quick and knowledgeable, but they also have support representatives that have very little empathy for a company that is struggling to get their program to work properly.  There could be more linkages between purchasing and inventory, like being able to print inventory labels from a PO, etc.

Being able to schedule Preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, etc.  Asset costs, Purchasing and inventory costs.

**What do you like best about Eptura Asset?**

Has been a reasonably cost effective software for managing our maintenance work orders across the company.  Mobile access is good, easy interface for technicians and requesters and desktop users.

**What do you dislike about Eptura Asset?**

The need to integrate parts inventory into our Infor ERP system is a hurdle now, it is almost impossible to manage two purchasing systems and inventory, this will be our next effort to gain this integration.  A few little issues like inability to customize the priority field (I think it once did allow this).  In ability to add fields to the QR code for requests is frustrating....aka we move many assets around on the plant floor almost every day, so a water heater for example might be moved 3-4 times a week, we added a custom field to the request portal for users to simply tell us what line the asset is at at the time of request.  The QR code process however does not allow that field to be entered.  I see that there was a building layout tool in another of your software that might solve that, but we move so many assets so often, we could never keep a drawing updated.

Work orders don't need to be tied to a specific asset, but we can still properly categorize the work type. This is ideal for facilities management, which often doesn't revolve around tracked assets. Additionally, linking to the Eptura workplace service request platform allows employees in the company to have a one-stop-shop for all of their facilities needs.

**What do you dislike about Eptura Asset?**

Preventive Maintenance setup is a good amount of up-front work, so it can have a long implementation, but once PM plans have been created, it's a fast and simple system to utilize

**What problems is Eptura Asset solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PM plans that can be created and then assigned to applicable assets is great in an enterprise environment. It saves each site time and promotes consistency across our sites.

Reviewing ManagerPlus by iOFFICE has been quite an experience. There are bugs, in the inventory module overall functionality remains impressive. Still provides features.

ManagerPlus iOFFICE, navigating and properly utilizing the program is difficult due to customer services lack of guidance and support.

ManagerPlus by iOFFICE is beneficial, in simplifying asset management and providing a user interface. ManagerPlus solving our maintenance management problems. It provides features that have helped us simplify our workflow and minimize downtime.

There are a lot of bugs with the inventory module, which make it very difficult and time-consuming to use. There are too many issues to list here.

Now, no issues are being solved; you can't get any support anymore. Nobody from support responds or corrects any problems anymore. It's not working currently!

The features of asset control and reporting. Inventory and Reporting. Being cloud-based makes the whole experience more enhanced, and the connection is NEVER a problem.

**What do you dislike about Eptura Asset?**

There is nothing I dislike. We use Lightining; the BI reports are challenging to build. Some reports come standard but are too generic.

**Recommendations to others considering Eptura Asset:**

If you are purchasing ManagerPlus for the first time, the actual roll-out will require extreme patience. Moving information to ManagerPlus from a different program is expensive and will likely not meet your expectations. Extracting data from a program requires a similar place to bring it. Beyond that, roll-out relies on the end-user, with guidance(templates and how to's ) from an Implementation Specialist.

The Work Orders module solved accurate completion. Asset module solved compiling accurate data, and PM module has streamlined the whole process and valid information. These things have provided reliable data.

I like that this software will send a notification to our parts clerk when our on hand supply has been exhausted.  I also like that we have all our calendar based scheduled PMs where they can be quickly accessed and veiwed.

**What do you dislike about Eptura Asset?**

I dislike the fact that there is nowhere to identify when a part is on order in the parts sheet.  We keep over 5,000 spare parts in our facility and it gets VERY difficult for our parts clerk to keep up with what she already has on order when someone comes to her and asks about a specific part.  We previously had a simple Excel sheet that had a column where she could enter how many were on order and when the order was placed so that all the maintenance techs could see it.

Also, I have quite a bit of trouble when using the program on a computer with Internet Explorer.  It seems to run better on Google Chrome, but our IS department will not put Chrome on all our computers.  I have spent three days trying to modify names of all our scheduled PMs (of which there are over 600, by the way) and half the time it isn't saving my changes.  I am trying to only do ten to twenty at a time and saving often (as is recommended), but I lost over an hour's worth of work today because I kept getting an error and it wouldn't save.

So far the only benefits we are having is the trace-ability of our PMs.  It is holding us accountable to a higher degree to ensure that PMs are completed on time.

Unfortunately, Microsoft is no longer supporting a wide range of Internet Explorer versions, as Edge is now their main browser. We usually recommend Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox for our users, but as long as the browser is still supported by the developer it should run Hippo smoothly. Absolutely nothing; it's the worst program I have ever used.  Customer service is awful too.

I dislike everything; they need to go back to the drawing board with this system.  They have no idea how to run or create a garage software program.  It's horrible; nothing works as it should, and basic information; work order 101 is not even an option. Something as simple as mileage, basic information took an act of god to get on the work order, and it's still not right; if you go back to the work order later, it's gone, it doesn't retain information, this is just for starters.  Stuff disappears all the time; there is so much wrong with this I don't even know where to begin.  Customer service gives you lip service, if they even contact you at all.  Nothing gets resolved; it is by far the worst system I have ever dealt with in my 20 years in the business.  The sad part is the software-based Manager Plus system was spot on; this new web-based system sucks big time.  Don't fall for the quality of the original software program; it's not the same at all.  The original owners of this software should be furious about how they have run this spot-on name and program into the ground.  Run, don't walk away from this system; you will be disappointed and your money wasted.  Also, be aware that this company has been sold twice since it was launched, and each time nothing changes.  Same bad program, same lack of customer service.

That you can export your data and import it to any report or BI via ".cvs" format.

The price is very costly, if they lower that and made it more user-friendly that would be nice. When I mean user-friendly I mean many of our maintenance techs are not PC knowledge and found it quite complex to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Eptura Asset:**

Try their software, just need to teach your techs for those that are not PC knowledgeable how to use it, it will take a few weeks to get a hang of it after, you should be good.

**What problems is Eptura Asset solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fact that we would lose the website to "severe error" every other time we try to create a ticket.  We try opening the web portal on three different browsers but, got the same message. We figure-out a work-around but was tidiesous.

The priority sometimes don't fit into the contractual SLAs. 

The least priority for demand work order is 1 day, whereas, in reality, emergency work orders should be resolved within hours, say, 5 hours

Hippo CMMS Software is fantastic for work order work ticket maintenance, unscheduled and scheduled, especially when you have multiple locations.  The platform is user-friendly, everything is centralized and the support team is absolutely wonderful!

**What do you dislike about Eptura Asset?**

Not much to dislike about Hippo. Every once in a while, I find I would like a certain feature, but when I call support & mention it, the feature is already there or they listen and will recommend it in the next upgrade.

**Recommendations to others considering Eptura Asset:**

Fantastic CMMS software!  Incredible features, user-friendly and everything is centralized.  You won't be disappointed!

**What problems is Eptura Asset solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hippo CMMS  helps to have all our work order tickets of our many locations in one spot and creates the communication of issues and their resolutions from start to finish.  There are great features, such as floor plans and reporting I will be using in the near future which seem great.

When writing a work order I can only search for parts within the description of the part.  I cannot look up parts to add to work order using part numbers.  So I have to exit the work order go to parts, then look up the part number to find the correct description, then copy and past this into the search in the work order to find the part I am looking for. This is no fun.

**Recommendations to others considering Eptura Asset:**

Great for the price.

I am able to organize PM's for technicians. I would be interested in a calendar view for Planned work orders to help me with scheduling them.  I do not know if this is a current feature.

However, you can always filter by the work category and, once you select a specific part, you can see and confirm if the part number matches what you're looking for in case its name is not clear.

Outstanding/forgotten work orders, the system controls the timings of the work orders and once they become overdue change to red which is great for visual awareness.

It would be nice to be able to see the floor plan when you create a work order so you don’t have go look for it separately. Also I would like to access work order histories of locations from the floor plan as well.

The best thing of all is the extremely responsive and helpful professional team behind the software. Without fail they are quickly available, answering inquiries, questions, concerns, and fielding suggestions with a cheerful can-do attitude. I have consistently found that the Hippo team has taken action to acknowledge my communications, to solve my workflow challenges, and to address the issues I am dealing with in the CMMS. I give the software 10/10 not only because it is already excellent, but because I am confident that Hippo will handle ongoing challenges, including iteration forward, with excellence.

**What do you dislike about Eptura Asset?**

Hippo has very few things to dislike. The only thing that comes close to a dislike is the (decreasing) limitations on the granularity of options to tailor the UX to each individual User's needs. The basic system is robust and extremely functional, but it would become even better by incorporating the ability for individual users to select more customization of things like notifications, for example.

**Recommendations to others considering Eptura Asset:**

Jump on Hippo! It's a cost-effective, easy-to-use system with fantastic support. The capabilities of the software are ample and expandable, and the willingness of the company to integrate suggestions and feature requests has been fantastic.

**What problems is Eptura Asset solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work for a thriving and very busy manufacturing concern. Our maintenance program has always been reactive, ad hoc, with very limited paper-based record keeping. We had no authoritative list of the machines we run. We had no centralized management of maintenance. We had no digitized manuals or parts lists or service records-- just shelves full of diligently-kept but unsystematized photocopies and handwritten pages in large binders.  Our excellent maintenance technicians have been with us for many years and their invaluable knowledge and experience was going completely uncaptured for the future.  Their contacts, their relationships with those contacts, their extensive researches into parts, vendors, alternative schemes for addressing challenging repairs, etc., were all scattered and unavailable to anyone but themselves, in spite of their best analog efforts to record these things responsibly. After 3+ months of onboarding Hippo, the logic and ease of use of the CMMS have made adoption very comfortable for everyone, even techs who are leery of computer use in general. Management is realizing benefits in a better macro-view of maintenance and a more accurate sense of what are and what are not problems that need significant attention. We're very happy with Hippo, and are persuaded that if it's this useful to us when we've barely started using it, it is only going to become more valuable as we integrate it into our company systems more and more.

We like how easy it is to use Hippo for all of morning checks including scales and such.

I'm not certain that I dislike anything. Certainly, there are places that could be easier. The on boarding time seems a little short to me. The only other thing that I can think of is; The trainer's schedules always seem to be full. I click on the link to schedule a time for training and there aren't many times to choose from. We are a company based on production and our time for conference calls are limited. It kinda feels like the customer has find a way to fit in to your schedule instead of you fitting in to our schedules. I'm not certain that's the best way to run things. Still, these aren't deal breakers for me, only ways to improve. 

**Recommendations to others considering Eptura Asset:**

Make sure you set enough time aside to get it started. It does take quite a bit of time to get going in the beginning. It's worth it! 

**What problems is Eptura Asset solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One problem we've solved is record control. We used to have our entire maintenance program on paper. Every piece of paper had to be scanned in and filed away on the server. That's kind of a pain. Now the record is saved on Hippo's side and we can run reports based on that data. There are no reports when all of your maintenance is in PDFs.

Parts can be easily found with only some information. Other  users in the plant can submit a WO request and after my approval it is generated and assigned.

The WO closing process could be simpler. The reports are good but it seems like it could be more intuitive.

It is simpler and less expensive than a lot of other systems. It meets the needs of the maintenance department without making it more complicated than it needs to be. You can easily attach photos and files to the work orders adding clarity to the task.

As with many PM programs we have seen several cases of the longer term wear items not falling through the cracks. Annual glue filter changes, for example.

Most important was scheduled maintenance and inventory.  Before, I always had low inventory issues which are solved now. No more out of stock parts and better control on budgets. Scheduled maintenance work orders have improved the machines conditions which led to more availability of machines for production. Reporting system is also awesome and help in form of graphs to understand the work flow. I only improvement needed is which i also told to Hippo over phone to have live inventory  out of stock item display at home screen where we see the work orders. I understand hippos sends an email if any part falls below set inventory, but email which is sent once can get skipped and it leads to situation of forgetting reordering if you are using different system for making purchase orders other than hippo. 
Mobile device feature is also very good and make your day to day maintenance easy. Only, bar code printing was little hassle for me but i have made it.

What I found most convenient is that I could explain what outcomes I needed during the onboarding/training phase and they would adjust the settings for me. They helped simplify the process for submitting maintenance requests so folks outside of the maintenance department could submit location tagged requests with 5 minutes of training. 

**What do you dislike about Eptura Asset?**

I wish there was an app with push notifications. Cell service is limited at my site so navigating the website via phone is not ideal and our techs don't spend much time near a computer. Right now they have to check their emails for updates which is not ideal. If they would get updates via push notifications when they were in wifi range it would cut down on travel time between the field and the office. 

**What problems is Eptura Asset solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main thing we gained when switching to hippo was the ability to auto-generate reminders for time based maintenance and to communicate more specifically with people about the status of their requests. This helps us stay credible which will hopefully result in increased funding for the department.

Not being able to see dates for things when I run reports. My boss likes to see exact dates for some work orders and I can only see them if I look at the individual equipment history instead of making a report for it. If there is a way to run reports and being able to see dates I would love to be contacted to find out.

It works best for larger companies/enterprises. We are a small business that prefers to see the up most specifics like dates for everything but can not. Other than that it is pretty great being able to see all of the different assets that we have. Equipment, tools, parts, even our walkie talkies are in the system.

We are solving issues regarding equipment getting damaged and not knowing when or who is doing it. Being able to know and see when something happens the day it happens has been very beneficial.

Nothing major; I would like the option to have a module to see working hours of each employee during specific periods of time regardless of the work order status.

I got my training with Mel Motoch and she has always been so helpful.  She explains things thoroughly and accurately. She makes sure you fully understand the "why" and the "how to" of the different aspects of the program features.  I really love the fact that this program is so powerful.  I am still learning how to use it but it has so much potential.  There are so many great features.  The more I learn how to use it the more I like it.

I didn't think it was user friendly enough but when we updated to version 6 I found it a lot more user friendly,
so that would have been my only issue.
There are a few things I would like to see the program incorporate.

It is a program that can certainly facilitate the organizational aspect and control of the different areas of maintenance in any buisiness.  I like that you can keep track of everything that is happening in your enterprise. It makes it easier to keep track of and control  the maintenance of everything.

We no longer have the janitors sending us work orders on paper. This is a big plus because often times these papers were being lost in transit and this made it impossible to keep track of what was being done at the schools. Now we can see how many times we get the same problem with certain repairs.

Hippo was easy to use and very user friendly. It was simple to learn how to use.

Hippo had no Purchase Order system tied into the work orders. I was able to keep track of work orders, but handle parts ordering and invoices separate from Hippo.

Start slow. The ease of use makes it easy to move to fast to quick

We were able to get a PM system in place. We were effectively doing PMs on equipment within one month of having the software. We also was able to create a spare parts inventory that helped us reduce downtime from days to minutes

We have multiple personnel that use the system and it has allowed us to follow the progress of repairs and maintenance very well. We are still implementing the system fully but it has been a great addition to our process.

**What do you like best about Eptura Asset?**

This software is an easy to use overall good CMMS software for the price. It helped solve the issue of tracking and logging work using excel or paper which tended to get lost and not kept up on. This software solves that issue and makes work tracking much easier and seamless. It helps track parts, current work orders, past work, and hours.

**What do you dislike about Eptura Asset?**

The parts area of the program is lacking some functionality. It would be nice to have a PO system within the program that more expensive programs have. This would allow user to know what parts have been ordered, what parts are being delivered, and what parts have been received. The part history is lacking some functionality as well. It would be nice to easily pull a part and see when the last inventory check was performed and or adjusted, when the parts where used on what piece of equipment and by who/what work order used this part, and when parts were last received or ordered.

**What problems is Eptura Asset solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helped solve the problem are using paper for our work tracking. Since we are a food manufacturing facility we need to easily be able to pull up work history on equipment and track preventative maintenance. This solved that problem and allowed us to easily implement a preventative maintenance program within our facility. The mobile app allows us to easily pull up manuals on when we are standing right next to the equipment which eliminates the need to have several copies of manuals throughout the facility. We are also seeing where we dedicate maintenance hours on what piece of equipment which has allowed us to justify purchasing new equipment

Our old software was extremely difficult to use with little to no reports available. HIPPO is living up to all its expectations and then some. Easy user interactions, great reports with a KPI dashboard, and fast support for all the little questions that came up during the transition.

Haven't found any downsides or dislikes yet.

Reports are easier to access and it is easier to track equipment downtime and associated costs.

**What do you like best about Eptura Asset?**

I like the ease of working in hippo, it is a CMMS with great characteristics, for all types, of labor processes, the creation of labor reports is now simpler, thanks to the historical database, which is done automatically, I can visualize all kinds of notes, and notes that are drawn up, in different reports and previous reports, and have them available, at any time, for the creation of new work routes.

**What do you dislike about Eptura Asset?**

is very limited in certain points, for example, the most important I think is compatibility, with different devices, since I have only seen that it can be used in Windows environments, but cannot be used, in mobile phones, tablets, or other types of devices.


**Recommendations to others considering Eptura Asset:**

You must work extensively in the development of new applications, for different types of devices, greater compatibility with different operating systems, and with other types of software that can be combined with hippo, to obtain a more complete tool.

The different types of tasks, carried out in different sectors of our company, such as maintenance of locations, or scheduled jobs, can now be done in a more timely manner, with a fast and direct line of work, which promotes a better use of time, in all types of work, carried out in the field of work.

Once setup system is able to simple for teams to input new work order! it is simple to log in.
I am able to smart phone to log in any where because we use cloud based. we are able export into excel spread sheet to share data. the ability to log in any where with any web based electronic device connected to net is great. the connection even work on cell data editing work orders and smart device layout makes simple to scroll work orders.

**What do you dislike about Eptura Asset?**

It does not have a simple way to mass edit work orders or jobs. I perfer to edit from a spread sheet as a administration user.
not always easy to upload new equipment have not understood the proper ladder of how to load locations and or organized naming of equipment roll out 
sometime saving requirements when exiting page screws all my info up. not being able to have multible screens open at a time when inputting equipment or assets.

**Recommendations to others considering Eptura Asset:**

have someone 100% available to implement for first couple months if have a large amount of items it insert  and lay out ot a map of how you want segregate your machines/ products or services

**What problems is Eptura Asset solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used for tracking facility machine PM and repairs.
share with auditors and use across company to link facilities together.
able log in from any computer with internet connection.
when in middle of meeting I am able to log into system on phone and email reports out if required.

**What do you like best about Eptura Asset?**

The ability to track and check on how busy each site is without having to request hand written reports or digging through piles of paperwork is great.  This also allows for management to be in closer touch with what is going on without crews feeling like they are being watched all the time.  The residents and staff love the fact that they know when they enter a work order it is going to be seen and is on record rather than just telling someone or even dropping a note in a book that may or may not be seen. 

**What do you dislike about Eptura Asset?**

We had a bit of time making sure all the areas and equipment were identified as we know them rather than what a blueprint of manufacturer listed them as.  Strongly recommend if your setting up a new Hippo system have your crews work closely with the start up crew to get things right from the start.

Make sure set up is what you want and know from the start! 

**What problems is Eptura Asset solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some of our sites have 2 maintenance persons that cover the same areas.  In the past they had to keep a book with a list of work requests and constantly be going back and fourth to make sure what they were planning to do still needed to be done and was not already done but just not crossed off yet. The system also works great where we have 1 person looking after more than 1 site.  Before they go to the other site they can see what jobs they are facing and go with tools, parts and are prepared to get the job done the first time rather than getting there and finding they don' t have what they need to complete the work.

We love that it will notify us when certain parts are starting to run low. If we run out of a certain part and the equipment breakdowns then the whole line is down. It takes time to order these parts and that is something we do not have time for.

We knew going in that the upload of information would take awhile. Just wish there was a quicker way to get all pieces in. Something more seamless. We are looking at a year to get everything in place before we can push it out to everyone to use.

We are continually audited on a regular basis. We struggled coming up with the proper documentation before. No we can run a report and the data is there.
