ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus is a very simple product to setup and use. We are testing it out with about 20 systems and so far it is working very well. We had just been using WSUS previously and we were finding that a lot of systems were not getting updated, especially if they were not on the network for long periods of time. PMP takes care of that and updates the systems no matter where they are. It also handles many 3rd party apps as well as hardware updates like drivers and system firmware. I like that it can do scripts but I wish we could run a script from the PatchManager server instead of the local machine during automated patching. It would be great to be able to do a pre-deployment script that would run an API call to our F5 load-balancer to disable any servers in pools and re-enable them post-deployment. Patching deployment timing with the cloud solution is sometimes delayed. We had some servers that we tell to install the patches at a certain time, and they delay before kciking off.

Another issue is the remote office/distribution server functionality is not as simple to setup as you would expect. Took a few tries before we got it right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This has so many updates from third party applications, and everything from Windows to be usefull on day one.
