The thing I like the best is that it is extremely easy to use. Compared to SCCM for example, this is simple and yet it gets the job done accurately. The reporting and options within are vast. Using ManageEngine Patch manager plus you can patch your OS like Windows, Linux, MAC OS from centre of location as well as Patch Manager Plus support Microsoft as well as Third party patches. Also, Patch Manager Plus give different methods of patching i.e Manual patch deployment and Automatic Patch Deployment (APD) from APD you can deploy patches without any human intervention. What problems is ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?

Patch Manager Plus helps to patch Desktops, laptops, server also it helps to patch third party appliactions. Patch Manager Plus offers different methods of patch deployment i.e

1. Manuall Patch Deployment : From which you can deploy patches manually by selecting as per trhe requirment. Using Manual deployment you can deploy the thrird party patches which are missing from the system.

2. Automatic Patch Deployment(APD): From APD you can create the deployment task by select the patch severity and select the target deploy the same. after deploying the task the patch get deploy withou any human intervention. Through APD only approve patch get deploy. fro approvl Patch Manager Plus give you the options i.e Manuall approv from which you can select the patch manually and change the status as approve. and next is Test and Approve in which you can test the patches on test group and approve the same.

Very easy to use and setup using the cloud deployment, Allows for a great amount of granularity around both what patches you wish to deploy, how you wish to deploy and who you want them to be deployed to. Also has a detailed test deployment feature to test patches before wider deployment. Support is generaly very good and responsive to all issues raised. Very good overall for the price. - Not able to deploy custom patching (i.e. upload custom file to be deployed)

Recommendations to others considering ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus:

Understand that patience is a prerequisite to patch management. Up to 90 minutes for a check-in (same as WSUS), you may not receive Microsoft updates on the same day they are released, but there is a good chance you will or at the latest next day. ManageEngine scans computers for All available patch updates, including a vast third-party store as well. Much better than WSUS at this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?
