We are testing it out with about 20 systems and so far it is working very well. We had just been using WSUS previously and we were finding that a lot of systems were not getting updated, especially if they were not on the network for long periods of time. PMP takes care of that and updates the systems no matter where they are. It also handles many 3rd party apps as well as hardware updates like drivers and system firmware. So I ended up moving the software to server and setting up our systems inside of the new server and our systems were able to get completely updated within a week and our company devices are alot more secure do to this. A patch could have been applied already, but when we ran that scan again, it showed that that same machine would need to use that patch again. We configured the patching to occur during off-hours, which has worked seamlessly. There are options on the market, but this tool is very simple and fast to implement, just install the agent and start reporting. **What do you dislike about ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus?** Maybe the only thing is that the on-primise server version is only possible on Windows operating system. But it is not suitable for organizations looking for cheap, low-quality products. If you want to mitigate security risks, choose the most appropriate tool for your security goal.
