## ManageEngine Endpoint Central Reviews
  ### 1. Remote Support and Automated Patching That Deliver Peace of Mind

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rabin S. | System Engineer- IT Incharge Core IT, Banking, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Endpoint Central has transformed our workflow. Two things stand out for me: remote support and patching. Being able to quickly connect to a branch user's desktop and fix issues without traveling saves us so much time, especially when someone is stuck during banking hours. Frequency of use has become the central hub to our IT operations, from morning patch checks to ad-hoc remote troubleshooting throughout the day.
On the patching side, it used to be a manual, risky process to update servers and PCs. This is now automated and scheduled; we can test before deploying. That peace of mind in terms of compliance and security is huge in banking. The implementation was smooth, integration with our existing stack was effortless, and support is always there when we need them. Simple, effective, and worth the cost.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Honestly, there's not much I dislike but if I had to pick, the reporting could be a bit more flexible, we sometimes need custom compliance reports for internal and external audits, and building those takes a little extra work.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint Central turned our complex SCCM nightmare into a streamlined, automated workflow. By unifying management for Windows, Mac, and mobile devices, we've moved from reactive firefighting to proactive planning. The 'set it and forget it' automation handles patching and compliance, saving us countless hours and eliminating the need for weekend manual updates

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I use ManageEngine Endpoint Central for centralized patch management, software deployment, remote troubleshooting, and endpoint monitoring, which automates updates and enforces security policies from a single console. I love the centralized patch management and automation capabilities as they enhance security, reduce manual workload, and provide full visibility across all endpoints. These features reduce security risks, ensure faster vulnerability remediation, improve compliance reporting, and let the IT team focus on strategic tasks. The initial setup was straightforward, with simple installation and guided configuration. Overall, it's a feature-rich solution that has significantly improved our security posture and operational efficiency.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The platform is powerful but can feel slightly complex in advanced configurations. Improving UI simplicity, agent stability in distributed environments, and report customization would make it even better.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ManageEngine Endpoint Central for centralized patch management, software deployment, and to automate Windows updates, which solves challenges like manual patching and delayed updates.

  ### 3. True All-in-One Endpoint Management with Powerful Automation and Remote Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Endpoint Central is the "Swiss Army knife" of IT management, ideal for teams wanting to handle everything from one console.

Best Feature: Comprehensive Patch Management. It automates updates for Windows, Mac, Linux, and 1,000+ third-party apps, which is a massive time-saver.

Ease of Use: Functional but dense. There is a learning curve due to the sheer number of features, but it's very logical once configured.

Implementation: Quick to start. You can deploy agents across a network in minutes, though large global setups require more bandwidth planning.

Support: Excellent accessibility. Their 24/5 live chat is responsive and usually willing to jump on a remote session immediately.

Integration: Seamless if you use ServiceDesk Plus. It turns your ticketing system into a "one-click" fix engine.

Frequency: Daily. It’s a core dashboard for monitoring vulnerabilities and providing remote desktop support.

Verdict: It trades a "slick" modern UI for raw power and deep functionality. It's the best value for money if you want to replace 3 or 4 separate tools with on

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

One drawback of ManageEngine Endpoint Central is that its user interface can feel cluttered and overwhelming, especially for new users managing large environments. Some advanced features, like custom reports or complex automation scripts, require a learning curve and can be less intuitive. Additionally, while the tool covers most endpoints well, occasional delays or limited functionality in third-party application patching and mobile device management can be frustrating. Overall, it’s powerful, but certain aspects could benefit from a more streamlined and user-friendly design.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ManageEngine Endpoint Central solves several key IT challenges by centralizing and automating endpoint management. It addresses patch management, ensuring all devices are up-to-date and secure; software deployment, reducing manual installation effort; remote troubleshooting, enabling quick support without physically accessing devices; and asset tracking, providing visibility into hardware and software across the organization. For me, this translates into time savings, improved security, and operational efficiency, as I can manage all endpoints from a single console, resolve issues faster, and ensure compliance without juggling multiple tools or processes.

  ### 4. Efficient Deployment, User-Friendly with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ranjit G.

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I like ManageEngine Endpoint Central for its patch deployment, OS deployment, and software deployment features. The BitLocker management is very good, as well as the remote control tool, which is also very good for troubleshooting. I find the tool very useful for pushing patches and deploying OS without the need for an engineer within ten minutes. Software installations can be done silently when required. The BitLocker feature allows for encrypted policy management, and the remote control is a nice tool for resolving application issues that users face. Setting up ManageEngine Endpoint Central is also very easy for us.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I think the handling of zero-day vulnerabilities could be improved. Also, the task board and dashboard need enhancements, particularly for CI visibility.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ManageEngine Endpoint Central to resolve patching issues, pending software installations, and inventory scans. It facilitates software deployment, pilot deployment, and critical patching, ensuring our systems are up-to-date and secure.

  ### 5. Efficient Endpoint Management with Some Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Absana P.

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I really value the remote software deployment feature of ManageEngine Endpoint Central, which allows me to push multiple software to multiple computers simultaneously without physically accessing each machine. This includes the capability for silent installations and uninstallations, ensuring minimal disruption to users. The ability to schedule rollouts and automate updates helps streamline our processes efficiently. The remote troubleshooting functionality is particularly beneficial because it lets me address tech issues without being on-site, which is incredibly useful given our large campus. Inventory and asset tracking features have been tremendously helpful, as they provide visibility into all network-connected devices, including connections to printers and other networks, and automatically track installed hardware and software. This tracking reduces the risk of losing unmanaged devices. Overall, ManageEngine Endpoint Central saves us a significant amount of time with its comprehensive set of features, making our work much more manageable.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I had a hard time getting into ManageEngine Endpoint Central initially because there is just so much going on. The dashboard and user interface felt very complex and cluttered, which was overwhelming. Different tasks had multiple pathways that were hard to remember, and the names weren't as descriptive as I would have liked. This made it difficult in the beginning until I gained more experience with it. I think if it was more organized and less cluttered, it would have been more useful initially. Additionally, sometimes it is a bit laggy, especially with updates, which can take a while to process, though this might also be due to network issues. Occasionally, remote systems appear offline despite being connected to the network, which resolves itself after some time, but it's an inconvenience.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ManageEngine Endpoint Central to manage multiple devices, keep software updated, track inventory, and perform remote troubleshooting, saving significant time. It automates updates, supports silent installations, and reduces risks of lost or unmanaged assets.

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

ManageEngine Endpoint Central provides us with an excellent platform for managing all our devices (over 1,230), ranging from Mac to Windows, iOS, and Linux. The Licensing is easy to patch to our server once we have the .xml file. The Patch management automation and software deployment save our team a lot of time. The Dashboard provides a clear overview of all our system health and SecOps compliance reports, making it easier to audit during our weekly meetings. The integration was so easy that even our interns can deploy and implement it. ManageEngine simplifies our patching, vulnerability, and security compliance concerns. Lastly, the ManageEngine support team was excellent. They are very professional, expert, and helpful

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The Endpoint Platform is powerful, and if you're a first-time user, especially in a larger environment with no prior knowledge, the initial setup can be a bit challenging. Sometimes, if you are not aware of the settings, some updates or feature updates require a restart, which can disrupt your operations, or your senior leaders may come after you. The ease of implementation is excellent. However, be aware of and read everything thoroughly before implementing it. This is not dislike or hate for the product, but more feedback based on my experience

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ManageEngine simplified all our Endpoint devices for patching, software deployment, and asset monitoring. That's why we are still using these tools instead of M-Intune. There are issues, especially on macOS and Linux devices, when using opponent tools. They required an additional third party to work on the devices, which took a significant amount of effort and time.

  ### 21. Free trial experience was so good that I'm buying it for my company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris M. | Principal Software Engineer, Telecommunications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2024

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The list is very long.
- It's the most full-featured product of its type that I've seen. Patch Management, Vulnerability Scanning, Computer Management, Compliance Enforcement, Privilege Access Management, Device Management (comptuers and handhelds). It's all in there. It's so full of good stuff that I can't list them all. I keep discovering new things, too.
- I'm using the cloud-based solution with a server in the office acting as a Distribution Server (patch cache to save on bandwith; easy to set up). They also have an on-premises solution.
- The product has pretty much everything I need to bring my company up to compliance standards for Windows and Linux. It does a good job on the macOS side, but isn't as full-featured as Windows and Linux. This is not a knock on ME/EC -- I haven't found any product that is as comprehensive for macOS as what's available for Windows and Linux. This may actually be a limitation of macOS and not an ME/EC thing.
- I've found the documentation and live support to be very helpful.
- The "proof of concept" and onboarding help I've gotten has been the best I've ever received, not just for products of this type.
- I'm encouraged by the presence of "got an idea?" and "need a feature?" links scattered throughout the product. It shows they're looking to improve.
- Every time I think that it'd be nice if a feature was there, it usually turns out that it is. It's just a matter of finding it. Sometimes it's not where I think it'd be, or it's in a right-click pop-up menu, or maybe named a bit different that I would have thought.
- I'm on a free trial now. I'm definitely buying this product for my company's Windows and Linux machines.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I wouldn't say I dislike anything specifically.
- My main issue is that there's so much in the product that I'm overwhelmed. Although it makes me uncormfortable at times, I know it will pass in time. Thankfully the on-line and live technician support has been very good and has jump-started my understanding.
- I wish there was more parity for macOS features (e.g., privilege access management, software inventory, vulnerability scanning) . As I noted elsewhere this may be a limitation of macOS and not MC/EC.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Vulnerablity tracking, reporting, and remediation
- Device management and policy enforcement
- Patch management
- Performing configuration tasks on managed devices
- Privilege access management
- Drive encryption enforcement
- Theft and loss prevention and recovery (e.g., remote lock and remote wipe).
- On-boarding and off-boarding

I have used many remote management software, but by far this is the best! Its easy to install, manage, setup patching, MDM, it integrates with our JIRA service board, allows for phone MDM not just PC and Mac. I know I have just scratched the surface, but I am loving this solution.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The paging could be better, the only thing I dont like is when I click on something in Agents, and it takes me to another page in a subgroup, could be a tad more self-contained at times.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of access, and functionality that is lacking in other RMM tools

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Not all functions and products meet expectations, for example:
 * The DLP function is not quite at the industry level from a cybersecurity perspective.
 * Many reports are built-in but not easily customizable.
 * As it contains so many functions, it requires a real effort to configure for the first time according to your organization's needs.

Provide direct support to clients with immediate response for high-priority issues.

Automated patch management. Prior to using ME, we had to manually deploy and it was too problematic.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2024

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Endpoint Central allows us to manage our Windows fleet from a central location.

From hardware/software inventory, desktop management of 3rd party patching and software deployment, plus built-in RDC shadowing, the functionality is why we've licensed it for these past 10 years. Because of our licensing tenure we've seen some great improvements to the UI - specifically the Self Service Portal users can leverage.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Navigation through the UI, as some capabilities are similar and be performed in different areas. Due to our tenure using the product we've grown accustomed to these but can see it as a learning curve to new users

Majority of 3rd party patches require the application to not be running. As we push outside of business hours this can delay the installations for days to weeks as applications are in continual use. Consider adding the option, as present in some self-updating apps, for users to accept the upgrade and have it restart the app upon completion.

Newly adopted machine builds must go through a complete patch scan before any software configurations can be deployed. This roadblocks the turnaround time we can provide a replacement for a failed machine to a user.

Customer support (level 1) needs to better understand their product. We often spend too much time explaining the workings of the product before the issue we raise is addressed and escalated to a more technical engineer (level 2/3).

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps mitigate the vulnerabilty of 3rd party software in a somewhat timely manner

  ### 41. I've used a Manage Engine product since I started IT...

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Printing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2023

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The best part about Manage Engine, in general, is there committment to transparent, up-front pricing structure, which allows customers to understand and anticipate costs effectively. However, this advantage marks the limit of its standout features.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

ManageEngine Endpoint Central, while aiming to be a versatile tool, unfortunately presents a uncohesive, visually overwhelming, and unresponsive user experience. Its ambition to wear many hats results in a lack of mastery in any specific area, suggesting a need for a more focused and streamlined approach. The software would benefit from a redesign that emphasizes core functionalities, followed by strategic, thoughtful additions.

Adding to these concerns are issues with outdated public repository scripts, exposed security credentials in easily accessible logs, and the risky feature of sending custom scripts directly to ManageEngine with just one click. These security oversights could warrant renaming the product "Vulnerability Engine."

The customer support experience compounds these problems. Support teams often promise extensive help, giving customers the impression that their issues will be addressed. However, this usually ends up being a tactic to delay and pacify, leading to prolonged, unresolved customer issues.

Furthermore, the software's API access is predominantly restricted to read-only activities. Gaining more comprehensive access requires persistent requests from users, often met with initial denial by support staff. This secretive approach to feature accessibility, like the existence of undisclosed endpoints, raises concerns about the software's transparency and ease of use.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ManageEngine Endpoint Central does offer the functionality to install applications remotely, which, I guess, is its main benefit for us. This feature somewhat streamlines the software deployment process, allowing our IT team to manage installations across different systems without being physically present at each machine. While it's not a groundbreaking improvement, it does save a bit of time and effort, particularly in scenarios where remote work or management is involved. So, in a basic sense, it's useful for maintaining a certain level of operational efficiency.

  ### 42. A Decade with ManageEngine Endpoint Central: A Comprehensive Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

We have been utilizing ManageEngine Desktop Central for over a decade now. It has been a remarkable journey with this tool. The seamless deployment of configurations and applications on the client side has been a smooth process. Additionally, the tool provides seamless remote user access, enhancing our operational efficiency.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The patch management aspect of the tool presents some challenges. There have been numerous instances where, despite patches being installed on the system, it still indicates missing patches. This inconsistency undermines our confidence in the reports generated by the tool, making it difficult to rely on them completely.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize ManageEngine Endpoint Central for a multitude of purposes that streamline our system management tasks. Primarily, we use it for the deployment of applications, ensuring that all our systems have the necessary software for optimal performance.

In addition to application deployment, we leverage the tool for configuring system settings. This includes managing USB access, setting wallpapers, and implementing audit policies. These features allow us to maintain a consistent environment across all systems, enhancing security and user experience. The tool’s versatility and comprehensive functionality make it an integral part of our IT infrastructure management.

  ### 47. Simple, easy and it just works!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2023

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

It really is a one stop shop for us, it has quickly become our go to tool for nearly anything, software deployment, update deployments (hands down best feature), PC imaging, Mobile device managament and remote assistance (both in and out of domain) just to name a few. Setup was breeze, we used a third party and it couldnt have been easier to intergate in our environment. I do love the chat with us support button, whenever you have a question a real live person responds to you via chat fast, minutes, I prefer this method of support best for its promptness and accuracy. To say we use the software daily would be an understatment, I would say we are using Endpoint Central every hour of the day!

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Updating ManageEngine Endpoint Central can be time consuming and fequent if you are trying to stay on the latest version. Update cause all of the endpoint agents to update, if one fails you lose all connectivity to it. Updating also resets all of your image deployment media, its not a huge deal but does add to the post updating proceedures. Due to this fact we have been updating quartly as long as there are no imminent security concerns.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this software for keeping both endpoints and servers up to date with both OS and third party apps. We had no imaging capability prior to this, I have experience imaging with other popular imaging solutions from a major OS developer and Endpoint Central is so much easier with easy to navigate GUI, a massive pre-packaged software library from Google earth to 7Zip, live capture and easy deployment options. We have been accumulating more and more mobile devices that were unmanaged and probably misused, we now have the abilty to configure, monitor and remote support all of them.

  ### 49. Great Product - Patching, Systems Tools, Full System Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2023

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The patching module is one my of favorite modules, it's very intuitive, it's simple to decline a patch or hold off on one for testing. Compared to other patching programs I've used in the past, this one is far superior.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Some modules can be combursome, we've struggled with OS Deployement and working through that. Was hoping that would be a little more streamlined out of the box. Just need to work through the kinks.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't have an MDM solution in the past that was worth anything. After implementing ManageEngine's MDM solution, we have piece of mind our devices are secure, our data is safe and easily removed if and when an employee terminates employment or a device is lost/stolen.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I have been using ManageEngine Endpoint Central for nearly a year now, and although it has some great features, there are still some aspects of it that I’m not too fond of. One of the main things I dislike about this application is its lack of customization options. It has a very basic user interface that can’t be changed in any way, making life difficult when trying to get used to the layout. Also, the software requires numerous updates and bug fixes which can take up a lot of time and cause even more confusion while trying to figure out how to use the program correctly.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ManageEngine Endpoint Central solves many problems and benefits me as an IT professional and administrator. The tool allows me to effectively manage endpoints from a single centralized location, greatly enhancing my ability to promptly address system changes and threats.
