**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT teams often end up using different tools for patching, security, asset tracking, and remote support. That fragmentation creates unnecessary complexity, drives up costs, and leaves poor visibility across the environment.

Endpoint Central addresses this with unified endpoint management (UEM) from a single console, letting teams manage Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobile devices together. From a UI/UX perspective, having everything in one place makes day-to-day administration more consistent and easier to follow.

A common challenge is simply not knowing what devices exist or what they’re running, which leads to unmanaged endpoints and, ultimately, security risks. The solution here is real-time asset inventory and monitoring, with full visibility into hardware, software, and usage mapping. The AI/intelligence angle is the real-time insights and analytics that help turn inventory data into something actionable.

Unpatched systems are the #1 cause of breaches & ransomware, and manual patching is both slow and error-prone. Endpoint Central’s approach is automated patch management for both the OS and applications, supported by AI-driven threat detection plus vulnerability scanning and remediation. With AI/intelligence focused on predictive threat detection, the practical outcome is faster patch cycles and less downtime.

When devices are spread across locations, networks, and users, remote management and support becomes difficult. The platform’s remote monitoring and control works across LAN, WAN, cloud, and remote setups, and includes secure remote troubleshooting tools. A central dashboard improves remote management from a UI/UX standpoint, while support and onboarding benefit from faster remote issue resolution. Performance-wise, this translates into less downtime for employees.

Many routine tasks—patching, software deployment, and reporting—are repetitive and time-consuming. An automation-first platform helps by automating patch deployment, software installation, and reporting workflows, which improves performance through faster execution and fewer manual errors.

There’s also the ongoing difficulty of meeting standards such as GDPR and ISO. Built-in compliance reports, policy enforcement, continuous monitoring, and audit-ready data help reduce the manual effort needed to stay aligned.

Finally, multiple tools plus manual work typically means higher cost, and low efficiency leads to poor ROI. Consolidating tools and leaning on automation improves asset utilization and helps bring costs under control.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2025

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

It's really effective, it makes our life much easier considering that we have hundreds of client to manage.
On top of patch and inventory management you also have few support tools, like remote connection and command prompt that helps you with the day by day support requests.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

We tried the MDM solution and I think it's still to weak. Probably with few Brand/Models the situation is better, but in our case the profiles deploy and kiosk mode was almost unusable.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch management on hundreds of clients. This definetely help us to save huge amount of time and keep the same level of security patch on all out clients.

  ### 27. Great product, great support

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Very easy to deploy software and updates

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Sometimes error messages during deployments aren't very descriptive, making it hard to determine the cause of the error

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to deploy updates and software easily. This saves us a lot of time and effort

  ### 28. Versatile management system

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark S F. | Systems Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2025

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

ManageEngine Endpoint Central covers most of the requirements for managing computers and mobile devices. They have a deep set of features that are fairly easy to use and configure.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Unfortunately the product shows signs of rapid growth - primarily evident in an often confusing interface. Features and commands not logically presented and require many different clicks through different pages to access them.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Management of Windows computers

  ### 29. Manage Engine - Ease of Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2025

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The system has alot of add on tools like patch management, inventory and software deployment that allows me to management all my devices using a single platform

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The patch management portion does not allow me to create reports based on historical trends to further enhance my KPI reports to management. The reports provide a present day status on patches and systems

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LArge amount of devices that needs to be managed effectively by deploying software updates, patches, software deployments and remote support. We constantly need to deploy systems, the software deployment feature allows us to provide a standard deployment to all users that reduces the time to issue systems to users. We have a accurate count of all systems deployed with the system versions, with the ability to keep all system up to date

  ### 30. Tailormade Solution For Endpoint Management

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaz S. | Desktop Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2024

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Endpoint Central is diverse in its ability to customize. If you have the additional licenses, you can do everything from monitor security, deploy patches/drivers, install printers, manage software updates, deploy powershell scripts, and more.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The lack of ability to run the agent troubleshooting tool remotely. This is an especially troublesome issue if your endpoint environment is geographically diverse. If I have access to a computer on my domain remotely via VPN but the UEMS Agent is not working, then I have to use another remote control service (Teamviewer, AnyDesk, etc) in order to run the agent troubleshooting tool. In my opinion, I should have the ability to run this tool remotely and export the results to CSV so that there is no need to utilize another 3rd Party solution to work on the existing UEMS issue.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem is the "unified" solution everyone is looking for. Everyone wants a one-stop-shop and Endpoint Central is inching closer to that every year it seems.

  ### 31. ManageEngine Delivers on so many levels

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George G. | Senior Technical Analyst II, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2025

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

ManageEngine has so many great features. I especially love the simplicity of being able to install software remotely. That feature alone has saved me countless hours.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I wish there were more details when a deployment fails. I also recently had a situation where I needed to replace the Agent with a new version with new parameters. The migration tool I was provided failed to do the task it was created for, so I had to find alternative means of completing this task.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a solution to deploy software across multiple locations as expediently as possible. ManageEngine has made that possible.

  ### 32. Good product

Customer support is also available easily

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Uninstalling applications that were not added through the Endpoint Central catalog cannot be done using the direct uninstall button. However, this can be achieved using configuration scripts.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deployment of applications, endpoint support, configuration management.
This has reduced time spent on patching and user experience during troubleshooting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rushikesh S. | Devops, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2024

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I am using this tool in my org and it solves many of our problems like troubleshooting the issues our user are facing with their systems. We can install/uninstall any software or block the software which does not support our compliance. The features are good and the support is also urgent. UI is friendly and new bies can understand it quickly. It can also show daily report of our systems, which system was up and down for how much time.
The agent installation is very easy and also support all OS, linux, windows and Mac.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The Plans and Addon features. I wanted the laptop formate option but it is only available in UEMS edition plan.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using this tool in my org and it solves many of our problems like troubleshooting the issues our user are facing with their systems. We can install/uninstall any software or block the software which does not support our compliance. The features are good and the support is also urgent.

  ### 36. Affordable, has all I need, but UI could be better

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Has capabilities like Software, Hardware Inventory, a good patch management system, OS imaging, software deployment, and remote control which I like the most. Easy to use once you are familiar with the UI. We use this platform for our Software and Device management coupled with RRM.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I dislike the UI, and the Support is quite responsive but all they say is "We will fix this issue in the next release".

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ticketing System - Quite good, just set up a request lifecycle and it is working great. The automation sometimes breaks but not bad. The asset management could have been better by adding an option to import the asset from the Endpoint Central instead of doing a scan in Active Directory.
Patch Management - Good inventory of patches but lacks the latest patches or you would have to upload the patches manually. We are using the Policy "User intervention" which pops up a lot, it could have been more simpler if it would download the patches in one go and do a restart only once for all the updates that require a restart instead of a restart for a patch'.
Software management - Nice and easy way to install, no complaints.
RRM: Easy to use, has all the features that we need.
MDM: Really good, push application real fast.

  ### 40. ManageEngine has been an outstanding experience from start to finish

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** a i. | IT Support Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2024

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Working with ManageEngine has been ALMOST an outstanding experience from start to finish.

The migration process itself was ALMOST seamless, after the migration was completed we discovered a number of computers that have not been migrated over. It has been a struggle trying to work with manage engine to complete this part of the migration. Since a number of machines were missed during the migration we have had to spend more then 2 weeks on this working to correct the agent on users machines. I am continuing to fix the migration issue on users machines now as i write this out. This part of the migration piece has been most upsetting.

Overall, ManageEngine has proven to be an invaluable partner in our IT infrastructure management that is why the agent migration piece is so important. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and their high-quality solutions have exceeded our expectations.

Thank you, ManageEngine, for your excellent support and for making this migration almost a success!

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The customer support from Manage Engine is lacking.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems they have solved is our endpoint management patch update.

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The program is great for small and medium-sized businesses, I have also seen compatibility with Active Directory also on the plus side

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I think the thing I like least is that I can't prepare my own policy, something like editing an already prepared CIS policy.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to manage the equipment remotely, which makes it very easy for me as a technical support and other employees

  ### 42. Lots of features, slight learning curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

What's nice about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is it's an all-encompassing system that can be used for whatever you need it for. Connecting to remote PCs is probably #1. Also keeping computers in compliance with Windows updates, pushing software out, giving users a self-service software dashboard, even connecting via command prompt to run remote commands... there are too many features to list here. I also use it for MDM and it's great to manage computer systems and mobile devices all in one place.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Sometimes the menus are not intuitive. Trust me, what you want to do is probably there, but it might not be in the menu you expect. That being said, I've always had my questions answered within 5 minutes using the online chat support.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing computers and mobile devices in one place.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

1) Support: The on-call or dedicated agent chat support, especially for the IST timezone is very poor, if facing any issue the Manage engine team only will share documents with long procedures which kills the productive time in the office
2) also troubleshooting not describe that much of error messages or Codes through which an engineer can take hint and start working on it, eventually we have to go with support

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps to make daily IT tasks, inventory management, patch management and report sharing very easy, which actually reduces the effort and time.
Very helpful tool in comparison to all other tools for IT management in the market.

  ### 50. More reliable than Intune

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** R S. | Manager, IT Administration, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2024

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

We have been using Endpoint Central for 6-7 years now at our organization, and even with our company's growth it has remained a great tool for us. We primarily use it for software pushes and inventory purposes, but have started using the OS deployment piece as well. We like it a lot more than Intune, though Intune of course has more functionality. It's more reliable to work work than our Microsoft products. Integration with other ManageEngine products is a breeze.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

We stopped using the patch management piece as it was cumbersome to use at times. We instead rely on Intune and PatchMyPC. The MDM solution is also lacking in comparison to Intune, so we have that feature disabled. One thing that is also lacking is the Remote Control feature for machines. I'd like to see that become comparable to something like Teamviewer. Performing updates to these products (we run on-prem) has been extremely painful at times. I would highly recommend going with the cloud version of all their products.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of pushing software to our user and server Windows endpoints. It is far more reliable than other tools we have tried. Managing endpoints and their settings is also a breeze.
