Mamo Business is an all-in-one financial services platform that helps businesses consolidate payment collection, corporate cards, and expense management in one beautiful, intuitive platform. With Mamo Card, you can save 5% on foreign transaction fees, set spending limits and manage company-wide spending. With Mamo Business, you can accept payments in more than 15 currencies and access some of the lowest transaction fees in the UAE - Fees start at 1.9%. With Mamo's expense management solution, you can speed up manual expense management, eliminate reimbursements, and complete month-end closes like a pro. With Mamo's many APIs, you can optimize checkout flows and automate finance operations. Mamo is used by over 1,000 companies to automate financial operations and save on fees.

  ### 1. Funds held for 540 days with no explanation

**What do you like best about Mamo Business?**

No pros at all. Only maybe fast setup, but its not worth it.

**What do you dislike about Mamo Business?**

We used Mamo Pay as a payment solution for our UAE-registered business. Our account was suspended in October 2025 and all funds were frozen without prior notice.

After the initial six-month hold period passed, we requested the release of our funds. Mamo extended the hold to 540 days from the last transaction date, citing "material risk of chargebacks or regulatory exposure" - with no specific evidence, no chargeback claims disclosed, and no documentation provided to justify this decision.

We offered to submit our Emirates NBD and Stripe account statements to demonstrate our business is in good standing. This offer was not engaged with.

When we asked for clarification, Mamo stated they are "not able to disclose the specific risk assessments" behind their decision.
We have now filed formal complaints with Sanadak (CBUAE) under case reference CAS-274162-D8M8J0, and with the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). Legal action is also being pursued.

If you are a business considering Mamo Pay, be aware that your funds can be held for an extended period based on undisclosed internal assessments, with limited recourse available through the platform itself.

Only problems, not solving at all.

**What do you like best about Mamo Business?**

I like the ease of use! I can easily generate links for my clients and keep track of my finances. It helps my growing business receive and process payments in a seamless way.

**What do you dislike about Mamo Business?**

There isn't something specific that I dislike about the MamoPay Business. I find all the features and the dashboard straightforward to use. I would add a couple more features (such as a feature where I can automatically send a follow-up email to my clients after they submit a payment). I don't dislike anything about MamoPay.

**What problems is Mamo Business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving the problem of going through bureaucratic systems to create a reliable way to receive payments from my clients. The MamoPay Business support team is very responsive, and I haven't had any issues with my transactions thus far. The support team is always very helpful and responsive.
