What do you like best about Malbek?

The system has more human-readable interactive requirements than other contract management systems. Once simple basic protocols are learned, the system is easy to use and avaiable 24/7. What do you dislike about Malbek?

What do you like best about Malbek?

Malbek is an intuitive cloud based CLM solution. All feature are accessible through the UI. It has all the capabilities that a legal department would need to manage their contracts and associated data and workflows. Customer service is also very attentive around training and documentation. What do you dislike about Malbek?

The system is built for more sophisticated legal operations that want to systematically manage their templates, data, workflows and reports. If you want to just replace a file server or continue offline unstructured Word and email based workflows, this is not the solution for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You are correct that organizations should really streamline their processes when implementing a CLM solution like Malbek, and it is typically part of our implementation process. This tool is definitely for organizations that need more than unstructured Word documents and email-based contracting processes. However, as you noted, we have worked hard to design a system that is simple and intuitive to use.

What do you like best about Malbek?

Malbex is highly customizable, which was important because out-of-the-box approval processes, for example, didn't match what we needed to accomplish. The ability to get approvals via email was a huge differentiator as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Malbek?

The system is intuitive and clear and easy to use. Search function is great, and the customizable reports allows the team to keep track of all contracts and deadlines. The self-serve admin function works well, and can be maintained by a non-technical person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Malbek?

I don't have any dislikes, but there are areas available for improvement...ability to send clean and redline documents in an automated manner, in app document editing, dependent intake questions. "Great experience - development, training, technical support"

What do you like best about Malbek?

After working with Malbek for over 3 years, their team continue to impress me with their responsiveness! Everyone I have talked to has been friendly and knowledgeable with the program. They are more than willing to assist with any issues or questions I may have. When the questions are more complex, I am made aware that it is being worked on and receive a confirmation once completed. I am never left in limbo!

They share software updates with their customers so we know what features have been updated or added. They walk you through personal 1-1 training specific to your needs, and have video training on top of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Malbek?

Contracts can't be deleted which creates a bit of a clutter. You can have it in a different stage for filtering, but it would be great if you could delete contracts that have never been Active. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had to create a new environment for the company when our contract process was changed. They worked with us from start to finish. We have been in the new environment for just under a month and the new process flows smoothly. I also learned quite a bit more about development through this process. Malbek is a strong solution for both hyper growth and established legal teams. The clear strength of this solution is with configurability options of fields, workflows, and contract forms. Malbek is a relatively new provider to this space. Ask to speak with clients who have a similar technology stack and their experience with Malbek in product, support, enhancements and overall stability of solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a solution to inventory our agreements, align the org under a common risk framework, and create standards for review to accelerate a constantly changing business process. Malbek supported results of 30%+ efficiency improvement for multiple quarters upon implementation (we budgeted and met our 12 weeks schedule). We are planning a conservative 10% quarter over quarter efficiency improvement going forward that has been achievable even with further rounds of integration and implementation work running in parallel. What do you like best about Malbek?

Ability to configure on the fly with changing requirements day to day -- can get the system up and running within a day to start sending out contracts for negotiation/signature. Not intuitive to navigate the admin side of it on the fly but once you get the hang of it do a couple you can pick it up fairly quickly. Not able to read to the contract object into SFDC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks for the review. So great to see your organization roll out Malbek within such a short time even with changing configurations in your Salesforce implementation. Malbek is an agile and configurable solution that adapts quickly. As you indicated, the administration capabilities require a day or two of training and a couple of iterations for an admin to fully grasp all the capabilities and become self-sufficient.

What do you like best about Malbek?

The upside to using Malbek is the ease of configuration independently. We were able to configure the system (templates, workflows, business flows etc) ourselves without depending on the support of our IT team. Very easy to navigate and configure to meet your requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Malbek?

We had a requirement for a very important feature which would allow us to mass download contracts, data and attachments. Malbek didn't offer the ability to download attachments, only to mass download and extract the data from our contracts. The issue was addressed and implemented quickly! We now have the functionality to mass download data AND attachments! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Malbek:

Whether your company is small or large, Malbek Contrax would make sense as a contract management system. I've implemented other systems within the company and by far Malbek was the easiest. We were able to completely configure the system and go live during a pandemic, from home which speaks volumes to the ease of use and flexibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to auto grade our contracts using a workflow and a point system. This saves our RLC's the hassle of manual calculation and leaves less room for error. We are able to analyze each clause in our clause library which shows how many contracts each clause has been used in and also lists the risk factor. We're able to generate reports and configure them to auto-run and distribute to the necessary recipients for easy reference. Templates and workflows are VERY easy to create using a simple drag and drop feature .. Malbek Contrax has many beneficial features for the business, but as a system admin these are probably the most beneficial for me as a user! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
