What do you like best about Malbek?

Implementing a CLM is daunting for lean legal department that doesnt have legal ops. Tara and Dip spent a lot of hours helping us implement, so I have to say that customer support is world class. One ther area where Malbek really shines is in template generation. Creating templates is straightforward and efficient, allowing for standardize contract creation. s. What do you dislike about Malbek?

When we implemented Malbek, it was still an emerging company, and the platform was in a phase of rapid development. This meant that some functionalities and features were not fully mature or compatible with our core processes, leading to occasional challenges in adapting the tool to our specific workflows. Additionally, we found that Malbek wasn’t fully optimized for Apple products, which added some limitations for team members using macOS. While the team worked diligently to address these issues, the initial integration required more customization and support than anticipated. There were also some limitations in automation and reporting capabilities at that time, which added complexity to our contract management processes. Malbek is solving the challenges associated with managing multiple contracts efficiently across various departments. Its comprehensive contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform centralizes all contract data, providing a single source of truth that enhances visibility and control. One of our important contracts became stuck due to a technical issue.

What do you like best about Malbek?

The implementation team has been great to work with. They have all been very patient and understanding while trying to guide our team on how to best leverage the platform for our business while avoid some of the pitfalls they have seen with other clients. In terms of the tool itself, I like that it will simplify a number of processes in the drafting and negotiating contracts. I also like that it will drive consistency in how we all work on contracts and the info the business requestors need to provide upfront when submitting contracts. I also like that it is a collaborative tool where multiple users and easily work on the same document in the tool without tedious back and forth emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Malbek?

The only real downside I see in using Malbek is in how we choose to configure it. Adding to many custom fields or options for users to select could make it confusing for users. Also, all teammates at UA most likely wont have licenses due to the cost, so there may be instances where some teammates we need to collaborate with, wont have the full functionality. What problems is Malbek solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have very manual processes to store and search for executed contracts. Malbek will help automate the process for storing completed contracts and have a searchable database that can also send reminders when contracts are up for renewal. Also, it is very manual and time consuming to draft contracts on our templates. Malbek wil make it easy for users to determine the right contract template and only worry about completing certain fields specific to their engagement. This will speed up the contract drafting process and ensure we are using the correct templates. Also, we currently work on contract via emails and chat messages, but Malbek will create a true intake path for contracts and make it easy for all teammates to see the status of a contract. What do you like best about Malbek?

Implementation Team is Great (Tara and Jake) and offered a professional-level support experience that is both responsive and pretty useful. They are always prepared to help with questions or troubleshoot, making the transition seamless for users.

One of this Malbek CLM Application's standout functions is its person-friendliness, especially for non-technical users. It empowers them to make important adjustments without requiring coding knowledge, which appreciably reduces the load on the IT department for assistance obligations.

Malbek CLM as features that facilitate Pre-defined Template changes using an word plug-in for agreement management from begin to finish. Compared to Apttus this tool is simpler to use, and it integrates with Salesforce very easily, enhancing overall functionality and user experience.

What do you dislike about Malbek?

If Malbek has a free license for users who dont use applications but need notifications on certain alerts would be more useful.

Regarding your feedback on the ability to control user security settings on an individual contract basis, we appreciate the suggestion. Currently, security permissions are set by domain and role, not by contract or document.
