It is easy to use and has a reporting feature that is useful. I like that the schedule is easy to produce and reproduce. The app is user friendly for staff to input their availability. I'd like the computer to have a way to set recurring availability for staff. When a shift is declined- having the ability to change the messaging to staff to explain the way we allocate shifts. Added feature-could have the ability to see staff scheduled for the day at the top of the screen or filter on the staff scheduled for the day to ease the reading of the schedule. Our managers love the ease of the scheduling side of Makeshift. The drag and drop feature and templates feature makes the ease of schedules easy to manage. The Available shift feature provides an easy way to fill shifts. Timeclock mode for clocking in and out makes clocking in and out quick and easy for staff. Download of the schedule and printing. Ease of Implementation was step by step for our administration, managers and staff. Customer support has been reliable. Integration went well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about MakeShift? We have had problems with staff not being able to request time off after the schedule is posted. We have been told this will not be a problem in the future. Not being able to see the calculations of time off and time worked calculated together on the schedules and timesheets makes it hard for administration and management to figure out if staff are being paid correctly for their time. Not seeing annual accruals of vacation, sick, etc. makes it difficult for management to keep track of time for staff. Not being able to see approved time offs after they have been approved unless you scan the calendars is not beneficial. Staff are not able to approve their time cards until after the pay period is completely over and many of our staff do not work on Mondays to approve and we must complete payroll in order to pay staff. Not being able to use the available shifts and the override feature for request offs when already scheduled at the same time is not ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. The ability to override published shifts for requests off would be ideal but we were told these two can not work together if we have one we can not have the other. What do you dislike about MakeShift? I don't like having to sign out of my ADP account to access the schedule since sometimes I do need to be using both accounts at once. I like having access to all my employees and their schedules in one location. I can look up an email or a phone number, and see all pertinent info in one spot. I like the apps for both the employees and the managers. I think the search feature is really helpful when you have long lists of employees on the schedule on different units - it makes looking at staffing much quicker when you arent able to get to the desktop site. I like the app; I think it's great for both the admin side and employee side. The scheduling is great. Like that staff can request to switch shifts, pick up shifts and request time off. The most helpful thing about makeshift is how it can sync all your shifts to your personal calendar. It's great how easily you can dubplicate recurring availability without having to fill it in multiple times. The widget for IOS is no longer available. It used to be and now since the IOS system updated you can no longer have a widget.
